Family owned, honest, fast, quality work. I could’ve had more work done but they don’t recommend work if it’s not absolutely necessary. We are new to the area and definitely found a good shop to continue coming back to.

I've come here on 3 different occasions with different issues and each time the customer service has been outstanding. They are so understanding with each customer and really do care about the work they do. Their rates are good and haven't had any issues after repairs. Love it here.

Stopped by Staples Mill auto care without an appointment after doing an errand nearby, and they were able to accommodate me fairly fast. I got to know the owner a little bit, he cares for his community through this family owned business.

They said I needed new tires and windshield wipers so they put new ones but they put old used windshield wipers and old tires that needed air. We wasted 400$ for no reason. The windshield wipers broke in 2 weeks. Never coming here again worse experience ever.

I just moved into the area, but I think I found my new mechanic (and we all know how much of a hassle that can be). I just needed a state inspection, which is pretty straight forward. Afterwards, the gentleman asked if I had my new tags and offered to install them as well. It's sometimes the little things that count. Follow up: my wife got a flat tire and had the car towed to this place just recently. They fixed the tire at no charge! They have a customer for life!

I moved to Richmond about a year ago and just recently needed an oil change. I searched the internet for a auto shop that had good ratings and didn’t try to rip off their customers. After seeing all of the 5 star reviews for Staples Mill Auto Care, I knew this was the right place to go. I went in for an oil change right when they opened and only had to wait about 30 minutes. They were very respectful, and came out and told me when they found a nail in my tire and asked if I wanted to fix it. Also very clear communication about other things to keep an eye out for when I was checking out. Definitely will be coming back here for future needs!!
