This place is by far the most honest mechanics place I've been to. They are busy so it's worth scheduling in advance when possible, they are clear on estimates, and labor, and any potential changes needed. I highly recommend them.

You can trust them! My friend suggested me here, and I brought my car in. They checked and ordered a part to replace. Before doing the replacement, they called me to check my warranty because they found my car is new with low mileage. I did so, and bring my car to a dealership to repair covered by warranty. They even didn't charge me for inspection. They are trustworthy and very friendly!

I send everybody I know here. I’ve been going here for years, for everything from oil changes, brake jobs, and tune-ups to bigger jobs like engine work, troubleshooting mystery problems, and exhaust line repair. Super knowledgeable, very friendly. Lulu is a pleasure to work with, and Jay has gone above and beyond for repairs. Top notch service, great prices, quick turnaround.

These guys actually care. Its wierd... they told me I didn't need something done and to come back in 6 months when it actually would need to be... they saved me $800 dollars. Its 2020 and they actually care about those they do work for. Weird.

Stay on auto repair did amazing job on my old car. Part are hard to found especially oem. On amazon, i found a cheaper price, but those were cheaper because of the weak materials used to create them. They don't last long. I learned that lesson last time i used an amazon brought car part to put on my car. The wait was worth it for me.

I’ve been taking my Subaru Forester for the past few years. They replaced my air conditioner. The new belt failed. I was in Michigan. They found a local shop and I got my car fixed at no cost. $0! They are the best! They never over charge. Honest., dependable and fair.

Our 2011 Kia Sorento had a check engine light that had been bugging us for the last couple of years. Almost every month from Oct 2021 to Aug 2022, we had taken it to the Kia dealership in Berwyn, IL, and experienced a lack of communication, long wait times, and many diagnoses to replacing unnecessary parts. Our last straw for them was when we were told our final two options are to replace our ---plastic--- tank for $2000 because of a hairline crack that couldn't be seen or buy a new car from the dealership (big shocker there). We were nothing more than a transaction to Kia Berwyn. We collected our car, said we would "think" about those options, and asked close friends from church where they went. Everyone we had asked all highly recommended Stay On Auto without any hesitation. We made an appointment with Lulu, got to speak with Jay, and through their tireless efforts were able to figure out it was our alternate fuel pump. It was 10+ appointments of guesswork at the dealership vs a couple of smoke tests and the right set of eyes at Stay On Auto. From the direct communication, flexible scheduling, educational explanations and demonstrations, dog-friendly waiting space, and the smiles on their face it was a night and day difference from how we have been treated in the past. If you are looking for a mechanic shop that does not fall under the 99% of places that you can't trust, Stay On Auto is where I recommended you call home. As my wife and I can attest, they will do their best to take absolute care of your vehicles.

my car had an intermittent drivetrain malfunction on dash and some minor oil leaks. car spent 2 weeks in the shop and idk if they didn’t wanna deal with it or they couldn’t figure out what was causing the malfunction notification. they replaced some oil pipes because it’s easy to get to and charged me 600 dollars. i shouldn’t have mentioned bout the oil leak when i knew there’s another major problem with the engine. now the only thing that’s STAY ON is the check engine light. i went to another shop and the car needs 5500 dollars worth of valve train repair. it’s a very common problem with these bmw 4 bangers. stay on probably knew it too but they chose to ignore it. the fact that they ignored a potential major issue and did the easy job for a quick cash grab bothers me. if they told me bout it i would’ve paid them the diag and traded it in instead of wasting 600 dollars for some unrelated oil leak
