I am very happy with the whole experience. They took my car the same day and went above and beyond on the service and to top it off, they beat their competitor's price by 16%. What else can a customer ask for? I just wish I had discovered them sooner. Thank you to the Stein team!!!

If I can give this place 0 stars I would, absolutely TERRIBLE. No respect whatsoever, they kept my mother's vehicle for 3 weeks, dropped off the vehicle at our house without notice and NO KEY and a bunch of soda cans and a burger king receipt in the car since they took it out for a drive, left it without a single drop of gas, a scratch at the front of the car as well. I am disgusted. Do not waste your time here.

Este ha sido mi taller en los 9 años que he vivido en houston, el señor Javier es atento y siempre responde las llamadas cuando he tenido problemas con mi camioneta, incluso cuando he tenido que dejarla por alguna parte que necesite ordenar me ha ofrecido un carro para llegar a mi trabajo, excelentes precios, ambiente siempre muy bueno, los mecanicos son amables y tienen buena experiencia le doy 5 estrellas por el trato ,por la respuesta siempre positiva a los problemas y por la experiencia que tiene ese grupo de mecanicos.

The shop manager javi is a unprofessional moron, bunch of scam artists. Had my car for two weeks and these people couldn't even get the job done. Dont waste your time here.

I got my car fixed here, no issues, pretty solid auto repair shop. Pricing is reasonable here, I wouldn’t go to the one on Gessner and Hammerly, the pricing was better here compared to there.

Came to get my front brake, caliper and brake line done, they told me to get another part… they held onto my brand new parts, I left and came back a few days later to them no longer being able to find my parts. They took two days to “find them” and they gave me used parts thrown in my boxes like I wouldn’t notice. They gave me the run around for weeks instead of making it right… Javier lied to my face on several occasions, the whole shop is dishonest, they have no moral code or integrity… absolutely no shame stealing customers parts. Javier had the nerve to get snappy with me and shoo me when he had to pay me for the $40 brakes he stole. I Left with a USED CALIBER when I bought Stein Auto a new one… Javier made it very difficult to communicate claiming “he doesn't speak English” when you spoke fluent English when it was time to take my money… Elizabeth Salazar should be ashamed to have a staff that would steal and lie. don’t give this place your business… they prey on people they think they can get over on. Take your hard earned money to any of the other 20 auto shops around.

I’ve been going for a while, for little things. Haven’t gone frequently, but recently went to stein for a diagnosis on why my car was grinding when turning, they told me that my rack and pinion needed replacement, that I would need an alignment as well so I paid 750$ for the pinion and alignment, but they gave the car back to me with the steering wheel basically sideways to go straight. Also the grinding was still occurring so I asked them what the problem could be, and they claimed my steering wheel wasn’t like that when they did the alignment that it was somehow my fault? Then they tell me now that the same noise and same issue occurring is now the control arms for both sides of the front end. Wanting 440$ for both arms and another alignment. Very unprofessional and unreliable I am disappointed.

Javier is an honest guy. His team does great work and I trust them with our cars. I've had everything you can think of fixed here, from AC charging to engine swaps, clutch swaps, his guys are more than pro.
