Charged me $500+ to change a hose they claimed was broke. They ended up cutting it and tightening the hose to the coolant reservoir, which cause more damage.

I was very satisfied with the services provided here. The staff is very professional, prompt and is guaranteed to get you in and out. I took my moms car for suspension repairs and was back rolling the same day. I have recommended family and friends and everyone was very satisfied with the service.

We’ve been customers here for close to 20 years (or so—maybe a bit less). This is a completely honest business—they try to save you money, explain choices and trade-offs clearly, and never try to upsell. My 25-year-old car is still running well because of them. Higly recommend.

Adam is good. I mean really good. Before ever meeting him or seeing the shop, we had a discussion on the phone as I looked for a mechanic to check out a used car from a nearby dealer lot in south Houston. Adam was so thorough in discussing the car I might buy, we started talking about what was wrong with the car I was trading in. He could fix it for half and guarantee the work, or he’d simply buy it from me outright for the trade-in value I wanted and save me from haggling with the dealer; up to me. We arranged a flatbed and retrieved my old car from the expensive dealer shop. Adam immediately located a used part and even chatted with other experts I’d lined up. Adam was thorough, knowledgeable, and he goes way, way beyond any shop owner/mechanic I’ve ever known. If you believe what I’m writing, I don’t easily trust service providers; it’s always a guessing game to determine where they are going to say one thing yet do another. Not Adam. I am just astonished. He’s as nice as can be and made sure everything was done right and stayed affordable. Mind you, it was an expensive job, but I knew what I was getting into and it was worth doing to save the car. Note: If I could wave a wand, I’d make the outside of the shop match the magic going on inside (currently, it is easy to drive past without looking twice). I’m telling you, he’s worth it. He had my car for a week, he kept it safe, he did what he promised and now it’s better than ever.

I bought my SUV from here and have been so happy with it. Adam has always been very helpful if I have any questions and he is very fair with pricing. I trust him with all my SUVs repairs and upkeep. He always lets me know if something doesn't need to be done instead of trying to just make money and do repairs that aren't necessary. I drive across town just to use his shop. Highly recommend.

I LOVE this place..i really trust the mechanics here.. the owner always tell you exactly what's going on with your car in details..He will try to work around a situation that will help you on your budget.. You should give the place a try especially if your a woman and not trying to be lied to about your vehicle..

I took them a 1982 Chevy that hadn’t had air conditioning for like 8 years. Fixed someone else’s half finished project at the price they quoted me. Can’t complain about that. Great service.

There's a saying that an honest car mechanic is worth his weight in gold. Well, that's true at this repair shop. Adam is a pleasure to work with and you won't find a more honest person just as the other reviews say. I think the bad review was for previous management. I send my friends and relatives there and they all say the same thing. My brother-in-law lives 50 miles away, but when he has a problem, he takes his car to Adam.

I have had great experiences with Stella Link Auto Repair. They had many chances to steal or overcharge and they have never did anything but what I ask them. I wrote this review because I would like to see them continue with their business and to grow. Really nice honest people.
