Terrible business. Took my car for an inspection and they got rear ended in my car on a test drive and didn’t collect insurance info from the other driver. Didn’t say sorry or claim any responsibility just said sorry go through insurance. As I walked in an employee or owner told me it’s not that bad right But they didn’t collect insurance info from the driver at fault so I’m left to pay my deductible and see my insurance rates go up….did not offer help compensation or anything. Will be seeing if we have legal action and would not ever recommend this place they do not care about you or your vehicle. The accident wasn’t their fault but if you want customers to trust you at least offer some assistance and do the accident process properly. Don’t just leave a customer high and dry and with higher insurance rates and paying out of pocket for their mistakes

A Really knowledgeable Auto repair shop . They worked with me on several major repairs that I needed . This was a complicated repair, went down to the wire and they found the problem, it was a challenge. I also appreciate thier persévérance and patience through the situation. Including a courteous informative front desk, keeping me up to date and a eta. I really appreciate thier service and Sincerly want to say, Thank-you .

I highly recommend these guys in Portland. I had constant issues with my vehicle which resulted in me having to take it into 7 different mechanics all within a 8 month span, because they all felt like jerking me around, and lying about what was wrong with the car just for a quick few bucks. These guys did not do that. They identified the issues quickly, were very communicative, and were honestly just very trustworthy. They know what they're doing. It did take some time for the part needed to come in, but that's not really their fault, but the manufacturers. Ryan was absolutely awesome. I will definitely be using them again if I have any other issues down the line. Also, they were super patient with me as I kept asking a ton of questions. Thank you all so much 🩷 my car finally works, and I'm glad to have it back!

These guys have been amazing… They even fought with The warranty company to make sure everything that was wrong with my car was covered. When we were waiting for parts and the warranty company wouldn’t cover rental, they helped us out. I would recommend this company to anyone getting the run around!!! Ryan has been my main point of contact and made sure we got everything taken care of!!!!

Change of heart here had almost 1500 bucks worth of work done and get my oil leaked fixed car is leaking again tried to get it repaired excuses and excuses short staffed don't just don't have time for it because there over booked feel like I was ripped off sorry if someone had problems there from my previous posting

I took a car in for a buyers inspection. They went above and beyond in sending me a full report and also explaining what the report was saying and what the most pressing issues were on the car. I felt very informed to make a good decision. Will use them again!

My car is a challenging project for any mechanic first of all. Second of all this business is a pro set up with a mature mutual (between us) patience that differentiates them from the 10 mechanics I drive by to bring my old, pain in the butt car to. It took a few tries to go through all the issues my car had but with their quality work & personalism we got it done. They stand behind their work and don’t nickel & dime you at every turn like most others when the issues are on their end. Recommending them!

Super fast super knowledgeable and looking out for you not trying to take advantage people like some of these McDonald's auto shops. . Toby and Ryan were both helpful and friendly. They got the job done in a timely manner, and made it easy to see what maintenance will be coming up, and transparent about pricing. They made it as easy as it could have been to get an oil change with three small kids in tow!

I am comically distrustful of mechanics - I once drove a car with a busted frame for a year because I was convinced mechanics were just trying to roll me for a grand instead of just aligning the steering. You can trust Stellar Auto Repair. They send actual pictures of what's wrong with your car and ask for permission before fixing anything they find. That's a big deal for us paranoid people. Go ahead and relax and give this place a try.

I came in to get a few things done including brakes and an oil leak recently. The team at Stellar got me in immediately and solved my problems quickly and professionally. I was also in a little bit of a bind with my own schedule, fortunately they got me into another car while mine was being serviced. They made sure everything was repaired thoroughly and got me back on the road promptly.

Absolutely amazing service. Went in for a PPI, they provided a catalog of pictures with written informative descriptions, along with prices on labor and parts. They saved me from buying a vehicle with tons of issues the seller was not honest about.

10 stars!!! I encourage everyone to read this review. I went to Stellar for spark plugs. After some education from Ryan I needed spark plugs and engine coils all replaced. He mentioned some other things that were needed to do as well and sent me a quote. Here’s the kicker. Over the phone we discussed doing the engine coils and spark plugs for $1300. I told him to get it all done. He took that as what was sent on the quote and did about $3000 worth of work vs what I agreed to over the phone. This was realized when I went to pay for it and was shocked at the higher bill. Pay attention here. I was calm and respectful in responding to Ryan and when we calmly figured out where the miscommunication arose he understood, and long story short he kept apologizing and we settled on $1750. I did not intentionally try to play these guys and they were AMAZING enough to take care of the situation and take a loss on labor costs for what Ryan believes to keep me a current customer. Everyone, this is what not just customer service is but the old fashioned people business that deserves recognition. Did it cost me $450 more? Yes. Did it save me $1200 worth of work to get my vehicle all fresh again? Yes. Did they take a loss on this? Yes and gracefully because they are ethical and wanted to make it right. Do not come here trying to pull a fast one as he will sniff you out with his 25+ years of experience. But Ryan bless you and your business for taking me out of panic mode and working with me because you could have forked me with the whole bill and kept my car. You are exemplary. Thank you.

Stellar Auto’s staff was courteous, friendly, knowledgable, honest, and efficient. And MORE! They diagnosed the issue with my 2016 Nissan Versa’s air conditioner, promptly, after the dealership worked on it, charged me $500 twice for a belt they had changed just two weeks prior, to replacing it again, as well as two tanks of Freon that was leaking because they overlooked the leak. The crew at Stellar stepped up and found the problem immediately. They charged me their quoted cost of $886 for the work that the dealership quoted $3500 to complete! I’m now a devoted customer at Stellar Auto. Ryan and his staff provided me with excellent service! My AC works so well now that I had to turn down the fan because I got cold. Haha. I’ll be going to Stellar mechanics for any future problems I might have with maintaining my cars performance. Thank you Stellar Auto!

Unfortunately I've had a very bad experience with this company brought my sports car to have a new engine and exhaust pipe and some work done November last year of 23 as of May 1st this year 2024 when I returned from overseas trip the car was still not finished tried to get me to pay over 60 grand for about $15,000 worth of work that was under a different manager named Jeremiah Kelton they've since replaced the manager so hopefully things get better there
