After calling around numerous shops I finally landed on Street Metal Classics LLC to help me with my 87 Cooper. I called and spoke to Robert who was super friendly and transparent regarding their current workload. He told me I was welcome to drop the car off with them if I wasn’t in too much of a hurry, and they’d likely be able to take a look in a day or two. I’m not brazen enough to rely on a classic British car for daily transportation, so leaving the car with him was no issue. She was running so bad I had to tow her down to the shop and push her into a spot. A few days later Robert calls me up and gives mw full breakout of what they found, what they were able to do with just their knowledge, and what sort of ways forward I had depending on my goals. He didn’t try and pressure or convince me with scummy sales tactics, he just spoke honestly leaning on his years of experience. I cannot recommend Street Metal enough to take care of your precious classic.

Horrible no communication told me car was ready and it was not sat there for two hours. Had to pay the tuner for waiting. He said he would compromise and then he changed his mind. Not a good person or vet

I can't say enough good things about Street Metal Classics and the owner Rob. During the work I had them do on my 1969 Mustang, Rob called and updated me often. He was transparent about concerns he had, and even uploaded pictures of the progress they had on my vehicle. His prices were very fair and he had the utmost respect for my vehicle. I had a new crate engine put in, disc brake conversion kit for all four wheels, converted my differential to a LSD, and repaired a rust spot on the frame. There was some issues with the transmission, but he let me know as soon as he found out and was able to help me get it repaired. I've owned my mustang for 16 years, and haven't been able to drive it for the last 8 years. I am very happy with the work they did on my mustang. I will not be taking my vehicle anywhere else. I HIGHLY recommend this shop for all your classic car needs.

Needed an alternator belt put on for my classic car. Not many places would work on this car because of its age and make, but these guys took care of it in the same day I called! Fantastic service, reliable and trustworthy!

I always enjoy having work done on my 1965 Mustang GT by Street Metal Classics. From start to finish my experience is professional and friendly. The owner Rob also gives me a military discount and daily photos to update me on progress! Excellent service and quality work! I won't take my car anywhere else.

My car will NEVER go to any other shop. I bought a 74 vette that sat for about 20 years. Took it to Rob and he got her back up and running. He provided photos as the work progressed, never failed to give progress reports and was always willing to talk when i stopped in to see how things were going. He even answered texts late at night when i noticed some issues months later (not a fault of his repairs). This shop defines above and beyond service.

I have a 1964 Austin Healey Sprite. Rob has been working on this car for years and I won't bring it to anyone else. I brought this car over with me from England in 2014 so it needed an expert in tuning classic cars to make this car drive well in high-altitude and heat. Rob is fanastic with tuning su-carburators and the car drives better now than it did when I was in England. Whenever there's any issues, I know I can trust him to figure out what is wrong and fix it properly. Rob and his crew are professional and I know I will get quality work and not be taken advantage of. Highly highly recommend!

Rob worked on my Grand Wagoneer a few months back doing some body work. He was quickly able to install new rear quarter and even able to fabricate multiple portions not on the aftermarket quarter I brought him. The finished product is extremely well refined and better protected than it came from the factory. I was constantly informed of where they were at with the work and provided with over 100 photos throughout the restoration that are able to be used for reference if I ever need in the future. It definitely won't be long till they will be needing a larger shop!

Very professional and experienced. I currently have a 67 Chevelle being restored there ,I am very pls with the steps and procedures in replacing quarter panels and floor panels. Care has been ensured that ALL rust is being repaired or replaced.
