Wendell came highly recommended by the gentleman I had bought a Ford 260 engine off of for my Falcon since I didn't know anybody where I lived in Florida I went with his recommendation and just had him drop the motor off at Stroud engine rebuilding to do all the machine work and assemble the heads. Let me tell you I have never ever in my life seen such a clean reassembly on a motor that I've put together, went to check and tap all the threads to make sure no shavings in there it was spotless inside and out basically when I got done checking everything all I needed to do was clean the entire block with brake cleaner so I could remove the protectant coating he put on it so I could paint the block when I assembled everything all the gaps were perfect ring Gap bearing Gap. And his prices were very very fair I would bring another motor back to him from Florida any day to have him redo it for me and if that happens in the future I definitely will so thanks again Wendell for the great work you did on my little 260 motor she runs beautifully balanced nicely purrs like a kitten and thanks again for the after build help highly recommend this machine shop and the people who work there another thing his shop was spotless too which goes to show me he keeps everything clean and organized which makes a big difference and doing machine work on a engine keeping things clean

Have used Mr. Stroud for several jobs and always received top notch work and service. He came recommended from another business and have been using him for work since.

Brought my 2012 6.7 Cummins head to be cleaned and checked and a valve job done. The turn around time and quality of work was top notch. The head looked brand new. The head was warped and had a slight twist to it and they decked it perfectly. I will recommend and always use strouds!

Told gentleman I needed 1 valve replaced. Figured 100.00 or so. I supplied the valve and valve seal. He kept it little over 3 weeks and did a complete valve job. 474.53. I wasn't happy. Went to pick up head asked since I didn't want every valve done couldn't we negotiate on the price. He said no what is done is done. So I will never be doing any business with this establishment ever again.

Last reviews are crazy. They have rebuilt many engines for me for years... Truck, boats, and commercial equipment. They know what they are doing. Yes they are Honest. I have never had a single problem with anything they have done.

Dishonest and will not honor their work. They put cheap aftermarket lifters in my engine and the pin backed out of one of the lifters and damaged my block. I had to have the entire job done by another shop. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Warning, dishonest business. Spent $1700 to have a motor rebuilt and it has had nothing but issues since I received it back. The owner makes empty promises but fails to stand behind his work. Wouldn't trust him to change the oil in my lawnmower. Great place to make donations because you definitely will get taken. I wouldn't recommend this business at all. Dishonest in all aspects.
