As someone that knows nothing about cars and doesn’t really care to know Derek was very straight forward and simplistic in trying to get me to understand what was needed. I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of which is very important for us ladies. He was patient with me while I figured out timing and finances. Mr. Sturgeon was willing to take my car in without an appointment. Though it took two days to fix because he’s only mechanic, let me tell you, He did an Amazing job!! I was told my starter was failing, . Now it runs like a freakin’ charm. At 165,000, i feel like he breathed new life into my engine. I zipped home, a completely satisfied customer. His prices are super fair-i couldn’t have asked for more. When I asked about brakes-was told with an appointment, i would get my car back in the same day, with a lifetime warranty. This guy will be getting my future business. Thank You so much, Again!!!

My truck engine blew while I was on vacation. While I was out of state the owner answered all my calls quickly answered all my silly questions. Gave me great suggestions and sent pictures threw out the project. And the most important part,was no price gouging just because I was from out of state. Thanks Derek truck is running smooth.

So I found Derrek by accident through another mechanic that left me hanging. A relative blew up a vehicle of mine and he took care of it right away. No questions asked price was very affordable so he has now since then worked on five of my vehicles for my business, as long as he’s around, I don’t see me taking my vehicle anywhere else moving forward. I would highly recommend Derrek for everything.

We just arrived in Albuquerque when a pipe fell off a truck in front of us we couldn't swerve due to traffic our tire was flattened.pulled off I40 into Chevron station asked if they knew of tire repair sent us around back to Sturgeons. He not only went and got us a new tire put it on the car and was very reasonably priced. We are from Phoenix on our way roos country. The extra mile was appreciated. Thank you

Service was A+, affordable prices, very knowledgeable about the problem and how to fix it. And the service was done quickly. I WILL BE BACK👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼...Update came back to get work done on my Navigator, it was a nightmare of a job seeing that most of the front of the vehicle on the inside had to be taken apart piece by piece( floor broad, whole middle and etc...) Derek fixed the problem and also fixed my a/c ( it blows the coldest it ever been...will be back👍🏾

I highly recommend this shop. My gmc was literally falling apart, and Derek got about 7 different things done on my car in just one day! I will not be going any where else to handle maintenance on any of my vehicles. My SUV drives so much smoother now and his prices arent even comparable. Fair pricing and professional service!! If you were like me and you were traveling through Albuquerque and your car is currently broken down, then please take your car to Sturgeon's. This shop and service were exceptional! My RAV4's alternator gave out and Derrek attended to my car issues right away. He got the parts quickly, replaced the alternator and battery, and even topped off my RAVs fluids. I'd give this place 6/5 stars!

I had my AC Service and Derek (the owner) found several other problems pertaining to the AC and fix them within 3 hours (WOW!). Derek knows his stuff and saved me from the hot days. I was coming from Phoenix on a road trip across country when my car locked up on me. I luckily broke down right next to derek shop. He stopped everything he was doing to help me. He got all the parts I needed and had my car fixed in 3 hours! AMAZING person and the prices are REASONABLE. Please go check him and his shop out, you won’t be disappointed one bit!!! I would highly recommend getting your car needs done here! I needed new brakes and rotors put on my car and Derek (owner) got me in and out of there super quick. He also fixed/replaced the issue with the slide pins in the calipers as well. Great customer service and great pricing. I will definitely be taking any of my future car needs here!!

Replaced my front struts with no issues, topped off all of my fluids, including fixing my windshield sprayer and my wiper blades. Very family friendly, took only 2 hours, would bring it back each and every time for maintenance and issues!

The guy who fixed our AC was awesome!! He did a great job and the price he charged us was super affordable and worth it!! I highly recommend this shop!! The guy knows what he's doing!
