Diagnosis they do is a waste of money. I would say they are not the best people to go for a diagnosis based on the solution they provide. For my transmission slipping problem, they recommended a new transmission for almost 6000, while I was able to drive away the car perfectly after a fluid flush. After another 100 miles, it works just fine. Nice flush, btw. They will loot you if you just go with their advice for a diagnosis. Also, for usual car services and maintenance, there are a lot of cheaper options nearby. $299 for transmission flush.

I had to get my car inspected in order to register my car in Texas. I'm from out of state and had additional questions that pertained to registering my car. They didn't have to answer them, but the welcoming and kind environment made me feel comfortable enough to ask and they were happy to answer. They were also very quick to inspect my car! I will definitely going back.

The service was very good and everyone who works there is very pleasant and easy to communicate with. They provide a shuttle service through Uber, so you do not have to sit and wait or depend on other people to take you home if the repair is extensive. Much appreciated.

For anyone who needs reasonably priced auto service, I would definitely recommend the Slaughter Lane Sun Auto. They treat you well and inform you about financing and any maintenance issues you are dealing with. They always have great customer service, answering any questions I have regarding my vehicle. In the past, I was paying a premium to take my cars into the dealerships but realized Sun was the better option.Also, would like to give a shout out to Allen, Lorenzo and Jace for taking the time out to help me and for their positive attitudes. Some places just treat you like a pest but they go the extra mile. Thanks again!!!

I took my car in to get my A/C fixed and they had me ready to go in about an hour and a half. They were upfront about the pricing and told me about their financing options, as well. It was a smooth experience and I'll definitely be back!

Most of the employees are helpful and polite (one was very dismissive and careless). Work is done well and they're usually flexible to fit you in for an appointment when needed. Prices are on the higher end though, and you could probably find comparable work for similar pricing elsewhere.

Called to do a brake replacement - when I told them I just needed a replacement and already had brake pads I was told "Sorry we don't do that". I asked, "you don't do brake replacements? It says you do on your website online". His response was "yeah sorry we don't do that".

I was so worried about being taken advantage of and being charged an exorbitant price for the repair work needed for my car. Sun Auto Service demonstrated great professionalism in explaining the problem, fixing it quickly, and charging a reasonable price. They even gave me a nationwide warranty for the work they did. Going forward, they will be my first choice for automotive services.

Showed up 10 minutes early for my appointment but Alan was still gracious about checking me in when I arrived. The team inspected my car and had me back on the road in under 20 minutes. Can't say enough great things about Sun Auto, we'll definitely be back!

My car stalled on the highway and I got it towed here for a diagnosis. I was told that my oil needed changing and was recommended some other maintenance repairs. I explained that money was tight so I would do the oils change and spark plug change out and return to do the rest when I had the funds. I'm happy to be back on the road but, I'm honestly impressed that theses guys found a way to charge me $275 for an oil change, and another $200 for spark plugs. Good job fellas.

Not the type to leave reviews but it was RIDICULOUS what my boyfriend went through here and if it can help you with the decision making of taking your car somewhere else then good. He took his car in for engine maintenance after being quoted a fair reasonable price, only to find out later in the day that price was doubled for honestly no reason since the issue was the same and nothing changed. After getting his car back it was absolutely WORSE than it was before. Car vibrating, rattling noise in engine you could feel like it was gonna fall apart while driving. He takes it back and it turned into a "who done it?" type thing. Suddenly no one knew anything, let alone how to fix it. Just said to leave it overnight for them to take a look into it. Next morning he gets his car back and it WON'T turn on at all, he mentions it to them and all they did was jumpstart it and the car was still sounding horrible. I just don't get how you take apart a car and not be able to put it back how it was before, its literally your job? How are you not gonna be able to fix what you broke? ANYWAYS TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE.
