I have been going to Sun Auto on Washington off of Buffalo Las Vegas Nevada for many years. I would recommend this auto shop and already have to my friends. JR is so nice, friendly and helpful and so is the rest of the crew.

My car broke down because of the newines of the warranty I went to this shop that they recommended instead of my normal mechanic. I was not advised of the $150 diagnostic fee during any of the calls should my warranty company not cover the part which in this case they did not. The mechanic who did my diagnostic could only tell me of the one part that was broken but couldn't tell me if there was any other damage caused by the part ( my mechanic did really quickly) . They quoted me almost $400 over 3 other shops i called to get quores from and also would charge the $150 even if I got the work done there . So now, we are talking almost $600 over my mechanic and other shops.

Sun Auto is the only auto shop I go to in Las Vegas. I trust that they will be fair and honest in what I’m charged and also the work they do on my car is top notch.

Came in to get a nail removed from one of my tires, was told it would take an hour for the service. I waited an hour and was told they can’t repair the tire. They tried to upsell me on a tire that they didn’t even have in stock (you can’t make this stuff up). So I waited an hour to be denied service. Took my tire to a different location specifically-4350 Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89102. No wait. No run around. No upsell. 25$ and a patched tire. leaving this review for anybody looking to patch a tire without the bs.

I am so bad at remembering names. But I thithi it was Dustin at the front desk.. Doesn't really matter because every time I am in need of Sun Auto Service EVERYONE that I come in contact with always make me feel as tho I am the most important person in the room...Today I had to leave by 11am and they had to replace a battery AND install 4 new tires..They went over and above time wise..I am do grateful that the bald tires were brought to my attention Made it to meeting in time and I am indebted to the guys in the shop for all they did Thank you Sun Auto.. scammers taken over by greed. They will charge you 10x the usual amount for a service. Don’t go there unless you want to lose all your money and savings on one go

My Sun Auto location has always been my go to. I don’t even bother with my car dealership. Sun Auto will get me in faster, honor my warranty and do the job correctly in much quicker time for a reasonable cost. They are the best

I had a problem with my car turning over when trying to start. (I was previously told it was the starter and alternator.) I took it to Sun Auto because of the CarMax/Repair Pal warranty; and I had a previous experience with the business manager, JR, that was positive. On the day of my appointment, JR was not there and I interacted with Edgar. Edgar was a bit abrasive in his approach and things got a little touchy when I was informed there would be a $150.00 diagnostic charge if the problem was not covered under the warranty. A very short time later I was told I had to purchase a new battery before they could fully diagnose the vehicle. (I was quite skeptical because I already had the battery checked twice before bringing the car to Sun Auto and was told the battery was still good.) A polite Sun Auto service technician offered to test the car using a new battery and it started without issue. I reluctantly purchased the new battery because I was told by Edgar that if they removed the new battery, I would have to pay the $150.00 diagnostic fee. After all, they checked my battery, which took less than 5 minutes. It has been about a week and so far, so good. After later speaking with the manager, JR, in detail, I feel that I made the right overall decision.
