I went in for an oil change and these guys brought to my attention my rear brake pads. I knew I was hearing squeaking noises from reversing out in the morning. Sun Auto Service set my vehicle right and recommended me what I needed to prevent further issues. The service was faster than I expected. I was able to make it home to sleep before my next shift. I would recommend them to anyone who needs excellent service and wants their vehicle inspected thoroughly.

Was driving by and spotted this auto shop. I needed an inspection to get my vehicle registration so stopped by. No waiting which was great. They did a fast inspection and noted three things that needed immediate attention. My 5-year old battery needs replacing and I have two tires with low tread. My car is a 2017 and still has factory tires. Correct on all 3. They suggested, based on mileage, that I replace my engine air filter. I replaced it last week but because their recommendation was based on mileage and not a visual inspection I can disregard. I truly appreciate the fact they did not try to convince me I needed an unnecessary service. These employees professional, respectful and knowledgeable. They will be doing my oil change, replacing my battery and probably my two front tires before the year ends. Thank you!

According to what they aligned my car and told me it's because of the tires, but in the report they only put one tire, not the front two, the easiest way to waste my money was there because my car was the same and for 190 dollars 😂, more professionalism and that they told me things about my car, things that I already believed if they couldn't find where to take advantage of that money, bad experience 👎🏻

I was stranded 250 miles from home with a one inch hole on the radiator. Called a couple of shops only to hear I needed an appointment. I walked into this shop & without hesitation told me they would take care of me. They immediately worked on my car & with a couple of hours had me on the road. Highly recommend this place.

I am a single parent on a bought and the sun auto group took care of me the only vehicle I have to go to work in and they didn't want me not to be save so they did a few extra stuff for free they are a God sent!!!

I have no words. These people, and especially Mario worked diligently to find out what was wrong with my vehicle. I had my 4 kiddos with me in the shop and they didn’t bat an eye while they were running diognostics, they came out and brought my kids some snacks while we were there (2 hours) and at the end of our waiting, come to find out what was going on with my car was such a simple issue!! Some bolts on my battery were missing a a couple were loose which was cause all my issues. They replaced the few bolts needed on my battery and tightened what needed and when I went to check out Mario said I didn’t owe him anything! I could not believe the kindness everyone here showed me and their professionalism. I will be only taking my vehicles here to have any services done from now on just to support them. Thank you thank you thank you!! Again, updating this review because the exceptional service we have recieved, again. We came back because of the kindness and now I have had to take my main driver here twice over the last two weeks for two completly seperate issues. The quality of the service, efficiency, and how quick Mario and his team get these repairs done is really what seals the deal for my family to continue to come here. Thank you all, you have an exceptional team! Will continue to come here and recommend this place!

The experience was neither good nor truly bad. The oil change was over priced roughly $85 (I was told after checkout about online coupons). They completed a state inspection, recommended an engine air filter replacement, which they did. When completing the air filter change the tech didn't tighten the clamps on the air intake duct and the car wouldn't run. Thing is, the air intake duct doesn't need to be moved to install a new engine air filter. The tech came to the parking lot and tightened the screws on the duct connections. I'm not upset, but I'm not a satisfied customer either.

You often hear people say it's difficult to find a good mechanic. I totally agree with that statement it is there's so many shops out there that for lack of a better term "they are out to get you". Sun Auto Service on West Avenue it's nothing like that period. Mario and his team went beyond the extra mile to make sure that everything was done correctly. I never felt like a number, I was treated with the utmost respect throughout the entire process. So a huge shout out to Mario, William and the rest of the staff you guys give the automotive repair business a good name exclamation!

I recently moved to San Antonio and this is the closest mechanic to my place. The first time I went was for an oil change—pretty standard and service was fast. Second time was most recently, I had to have my car towed to Sun so they could diagnose it. Fixed the starter among other things. I appreciate how quick and professional they are, and they don’t try to upsell. Mario seems genuinely concerned about the performance of each car. I will definitely go back!

Absolutely disgusting prices, found a tire for 70 dollars brand new. This place tried charging 130, what a scam. Don't come if you don't know much about tires, they will take advantage of you.
