Had my car towed to them after I was stranded on the road with an overheating car. They had great customer services, very polite in their communication and took the time to explain what was wrong with the vehicle and gave me multiple options to fix it. They were efficient and completed work on my car within two days. They were also fair on charges. Highly recommend them, if I needed to, I would trust them to fix my car again.

Awesome people, very knowledgeable of their trade. They do great work and are very detailed. I'll definitely be back. ETA (11/14/2023): star rating hasn't changed, the people here are just delightful and the prices are very reasonable, even for my "all synthetic, all expensive" CR-V.

Unfortunately, my most recent experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. My inspected vehicle left in worse condition, undrivable by the time it leaked all the way home. I don't plan on being a return customer.

Brandy and her guys are honest, do exceptional work, friendly and always communicate all the way through the car repair process. Brandy takes the worry out of car repair. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for a mechanic but as a bonus, you’ll get a mechanic who will look out for you like a friend.

Had extensive work done on my 99 ford e150 van to get it road ready for cross country travel. Jack was very helpful and walked us through all the necessary steps. The cost was reasonable. I highly recommend this shop.

The absolute worst service you could have. Won’t tell you the information as simple as their hourly rate and constantly hang up on you. I had to call back four or five times and got hung up on every time. They literally refuse service because I asked them their hourly rate if that’s not sketchy, I don’t know what is, highly suggest not going. Unfortunately, it does not let me respond to you so I will just do it this way; I was not hostile from the start I got "hostile" when you within the 3rd sentence told me that you were not going to be the shop for me. 1st sentence was about what you guys would be able to do. 2nd was telling me you won't install the part for me without your process which even though I didn't necessarily care about I knew it was reasonable and I did in fact tell you that's fine. I did say I knew it was a u joint I told you that's fine do your inspection and was just simply asking about how much you guys normally charge for something like that. Couldn't answer, was told you go buy the amount of time it takes, that you would have to look at the book. I asked you ok that's fine what do you guys' charge for an hourly rate, you weren't going to give me a book time so I just wanted to know your hourly rate, I could have simply done estimating in my head. Or simply looked at what book time is myself. If you guys go off of book time you guys' charge by the hour for whatever time the book calls for that's how you get your cost right? The time the book calls for plus your hourly rate, with tax and material on top of that. If your mechanic gets it done in less time well, he just makes more money. You were unable to provide me with the simple answer of just your hourly rate. I don't care about the inspection cost I will pay that fine but AFTER that what is your hourly rate? That is all I was asking, and you kept telling me that you were not going to be the shop for me. Yes, I got irritated after asking the question 2 or 3 times then I might have gotten "hostile" after about the 10th time asking the simple question of what your hourly rate was then got hung up on. Thats what is wrong with that California. Everyone hides stuff and is never straight with you. Here in the south, it isn't like that and why California is always looked down on. I in fact did get her jeep taken care of by the very next shop I called. Thank you for your concern!! 😊

Very happy with the service experience with Sunnyside. I was fortunate enough they were able to accommodate a short notice service appointment and the office staff was very helpful. They completed the service within the timeframe I was quoted, and I received sincere and helpful communication as I waited for my vehicle.

I am a regular customer of Sunnyside auto and so is my wife. I requested service and was told that my truck was to old and her technicians were to young and they didn't have the network to find parts for older vehicles. How does this make sense? I took it to circle automotive and I was very satisfied.

Had my 2003 Mustang GT towed in suspecting a bad fuel pump they confirmed quickly and had the fuel pump/filter replaced the next day , total was under what I was told over the phone!

I generally do my own general maintenance on my Domestic vehicles, but when I have a mechanical issue I take my trucks to Sunnyside. The level of honesty and professionalism is unmatched and they never make me feel like I “have” to do something. It is always a suggestion with no pressure, the estimates are always well thought out and presented so they are easy to understand. Zero complaints other than I wish they worked on European cars

I had been having a sensor problem with my truck for over a year. A previous smoke test had been inconclusive, a few parts had been replaced, and I was still having the issue until we brought it to you. Thank you for solving and fixing the problem quickly, as well as fixing another problem we did not know we had!

I wrote the review below last year. Somehow I neglected to hit 'send' and did not know until just now. Between then and now the Ames family informed me of Jeff Ames untimely and tragic death. I was actually left speechless and did not remember the conversatipn with family members at the shop. I re-read the message and felt it deserved to be posted. Family lifetime customers hopefully for decades to come. Sincerely, Chris and the Cole family I have left many outstanding reviews of Sunnyside Auto Repair and Jeff Ames. Heck, I've been a customer since Jeff was still in high school. The world needs a lot more "Jeff Ames" in it and more businesses as ethical as Sunnyside Auto Repair. You can not find a better business.
