I was totally ripped off of at least 200 dollars getting my brakes done here I just had to have them replaced after 2 months because they used rusted old materials and sold them as new to me. I am utterly disgusted and will be going to the authorities with this.

I have gone to these guys for new brakes and tires and all I can say is that they are very hard and honest working people. They have helped be with finding quotes and getting my car fixed at a great speed and efficiency. I appreciate the work and help that they have done. If you are looking for car people you can trust, these are the ones!

These guys are awesome. I drive a pretty old car but I love her, trying to make her last a little longer without throwing out a ton of money. Anytime I need a fix I go to them. Recently, a good portion of my exhaust system needed to be replaced and Junior patiently worked with me to explore all possible options to finding the most cost effective solution. 10/10 service and results :)

I have to and customer of this place off and on for about 10years .I have sent my son and my assistant to take my car here.And with out fail Sunset Auto Repair also comes through honest and on time .I have had oil changes ,tire repairs tube up and serious brake job which I just had done 3 weeks ago.And I am so happy I keep going there .It’s seems the son or a family member has taken over they are in the right direction. Trustworthy guys!! They have always done a great job and been very affordable. As a woman I never feel like I’m being lied to or ripped off. They also made some great auto body shop recommendations and just seem to actually care about their clients.

Great place.! Honest, and fairly priced for their work. I've taken my car there for multiple repairs. Anything from a simple radiator flush to more difficult jobs such as my electric work. When you call ask for Jr, super nice guy and will keep you up to date with the progress of your vehicle and gives you options for work repairs needed.

Had a big Nail in our tire and needed a repair as soon as possible. Sunset Auto repair was the third repair shop we stopped at because everybody else refused to do it. The employees at Sunset Auto repair welcomed us very friendly and said it would be done in 45 min. It was done in 20. Big shoutout to the guy who stopped his current task and helped us. Would really recommend this place. Fast service and friendly staff.

Honest, reasonably priced, and fast (3.5 hours total to diagnose and fix). They went the extra mile with a few small things like reinitializing my TPMS.

Sunset Auto is amazing. I brought my Chevy Cruze in for battery problems and a coolant leak. Nestor and Junior were incredible helpful. The work was done quickly and Junior was great about talking me through the issues and the work that was being done. Glad to have a friendly reliable auto shop in the neighborhood!

They changed oil and filter but left bolt not tightened so new oil just leaked out and motor started knocking. Don’t recommend oil change there

This is a great place. Family owned and operated. They are extremely knowledgeable about all makes and years of cars and they are honest about which repairs need to be done. They are also very affordable. What more could you ask for? Our go to every time!!

Junior was next level kind and helpful. He helped me problem solve my battery connection issue, find an obscure part online and while I waited for it to arrive gave me a spool of electrical tape to hold my terminal in place so I could use my car. He’s a mensch.

Probably some of the WORST mechanic work I’ve ever had. Took my ‘16 VW GTI there for brake service and headlight bulb change. After getting my car back, the headlights were clearly cheap generic HIDs instead of the OEM ones, they programmed the adaptive headlights incorrectly, misaligned headlights, and to top it off… my breaks STILL squeaked shortly after I got home. Called them to complain and they tried to upsell me to fix their OWN bad work. Had to take it to the dealer and pay more to fix all their issues. They didn’t get a single thing right. Avoid if you have any car that requires someone with a brain to work on.
