Superior automotive was owned by Mark, real cool dude. Quality work, good fixes at an even better price. He was an o.g. in the automotive repair industry... selective on what he will work on but none the less a good guy with good work ethic. It was a pleasure doing business with him and his crew. He sold the business to Next level, really glad for him to have the chance to retire. But man! I really don't see how these new dudes have any good experiences on review from their customers.. or perhaps their just old reviews..? I personally have not had a good experience in my favor at all.. not just once, 3 out of 3 failures to keep me as a customer and I'm literally one of the easiest going fellas out here. 1 Cadillac - $2000 deposit, then they couldn't find the parts for months and months until I finally decided to ask them, if we could just use the deposit towards something else. They even locked the doors to the caddy when they drug it outside, I then couldn't access it, they had also cut the wheels all the way purposefully making it difficult to tow. I had to drag the car on the trailer forcefully with a winch snatchblocking from one side to the other for an hour, then I had to pay a locksmith to enter the vehicle so I could sell it as the key was only an electronic key and the battery in the vehicle was dead.... ohh + the starter went bad in their possession.. 2. Ford f350, needed the ac compressor, they proceeded to replace damn near every component to the ac system and charged me for it too... to the sum of $1400 ish if I remember correctly and I bought the compressor part myself! Once home I noticed the ac fill caps were not shut, and some of the stuff they just put in was loose... not thorough rushed through the job and still made me pay for it. 3. Didn't fill up the transmission fluid on a 2002 bmw x5 , after picking it up the vehicle went into failsafe. I returned vehicle for another week as I had to go out of town.. it had already been there almost a week... Picking the vehicle back up the second time, someone had wrecked the vehicle into I suppose a wall of their shop as the mirror case was turned in and they tried to hide it... can't really hide it though. I have plenty of video, Nelson the owner personally came out and told me I was "pissing him off" when I was recording my experience and interaction. He via text offered to then fix the mirror after I pointed it out... I just would be stupid to take it back for round 5 in my opinion it would probably just get worse... who knows what they would do to this car that my children seem to value and like so much.. This vehicle was taken there for alignment issues, Nelson and his crew guaranteed!! Verbally.. that they will fix the alignment and fix it again if it didn't hold. Now, a mere 700 miles not even one oil change in after the alignment rear wheels are slowly bowing out again, the abs light / brake light and the traction control are now all illuminated and none of them were prior. The mirror and wheel well have been damaged from imapct, Nelson offered via text to fix this stating vaguely "someone may have run into the wall" Probably should have told me that before I even came boss man Should have Definitely treated me more appropriately and not got "pissed" when you and your guys made mistakes not once but numerous times. I wouldn't bring it back even if you lied to me again saying you'll guarantee repairs and help my family out. That's all clearly b.s. I'm sure this review will just "piss you off" but you just don't controll everything man, the things you did control you damaged tore up then disrespected me as a person infront of my kids of all people. Customers beware

Mark was going to sell his business to one of his mechanics but that didn't happen. Where did the mechanics go after Mark sold to Next Leve ? I had scheduled maintenance done, replaced timing belt on Chrysler 300. The work was done for what they estimated the cost would be, they did the job right, replacing components (water pump etc) since they were already in there, and the car has never run better. Fantastic job!

I was introduced to Mark over 30 years ago by my Dad. Not only is he a wonderful person, he is the most honest, reliable, hardworking mechanic I know. I've send everyone I know to his shop and not once has anyone been disappointed. He is Absolutely amazing.

Mark is totally AWESOME! All of my repairs have been top notch with very reasonable fees from him and his staff. Definitely my go to shop here in Tucson. Their name says it all!

After reading all the reviews on Google and Next Door I felt confident going to Superior Automotive Repair for the first time today. I have to agree with the majority of 5 stars reviews. Excellent service, price was very reasonable...it even came in under what Mark (the owner) estimated! ...WHAT!! It was a joy to pay my bill because Mark only didi what was necessary and was patient enough to answer a number of my questions. I will definitely use this company in the future when needed.

Mark and his staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and kind. You can tell they love what they do by the work they put into your vehicle. We've never had a problem with the work they've done. We totally recommend them if your looking for someone to care for your vehicle.

Very poor communication. I called in regards to a specific part that I needed fixed on my vehicle. They said they’d give me a call back if they had the part in stock. A day went by and no call. When I called to ask if they were able to get a hold of that part, the guy who answered the phone said no. After asking why they couldn’t give me a call back to let me know, guy said he was too busy and hung up. Awful customer service and awful communication from this shop.
