100$ for an oil change and they didn't even top off my fluids or check my tire pressure. So technically I did not receive full service but was charged the full amount. This angers me a bit. There should be some type of compensation for those services not being performed despite it stating online that every oil change service also comes with those additional services.

These guys were great! In and out in no time with great customer service. Worked as a team and made sure I didn’t have any questions or concerns before leaving. 10/10 A little pricey but you get what you pay for

Friendly service, smiles, not pushy about up sales. Offered me coffee and water very efficient. I usually go to the dealership where I live, but I was visiting from out of town. If I lived here, I would just go there and save myself some money and time..

I received fast and friendly service, but they did something wrong because my oil light came on a few hours later. So now I have to waste my time by going to another location to find out what the problem is. Update: I changed my rating from 3 stars to 2 stars because their response did NOT include an apology, nor any offers of a refund. Furthermore, the location on the north side confirmed that my oil was almost all gone due to their inability to do the job correctly.

Tried to call ahead and the phone number listed just hangs up. State Inspection machine was not working when I arrived. Both bays were closed when I drove up, two workers came out of their cars from behind the shop and were very obviously high and eating take-out while servicing the next car.

I had the worst experience at the Take 5 on 1951 East Oltorf in Austin, Texas. They were delayed in response when I drove up. Their instructions were not clear and oil was splashed on my front bumper. They attempted to clean it up, but please see picture of oil still on car. I drove off, but remembered I had a coupon, I returned in less than 5 minutes and they refused to take it. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company.. They certainly don’t understand repeat business is the best business as I will never patronize Take 5 again. A bad word goes so much farther than a good word and unless I am compensated for the $25 coupon and how they treated me, I plan to protest on every social media platform available.

My son’s car is completely inoperable after leaving this place. There is no phone number to call them directly. I’ve been on hold twice for over 30 min each time. His car was fine before he came in for an oil change now his check engine light is on and it’s over heating. This happened as soon as he left there to head home. Update: Took it back up there and they informed my son he needed a coolant swap which made no sense considering the car was FINE before he got the oil change. Car wasn’t leaking or anything but now it’s leaking coolant everywhere! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! Now I’m having to tow the car to a mechanic shop to figure out what’s going on! This is a nightmare!

This place is supposed to be for quick stops. Yet, I'm routinely sat there with nothing to do but twiddle my thumbs for 30 plus minutes. This time I've been here 50 minutes so far, only one car was in front of me, but it's been 50 minutes and despite being in the bay they still haven't touched my car. There's another vehicle here that everyone is gathered around and giving full attention to. Why aren't one or two working on mine? I just need an oil change and it's absolutely absurd that it should take this long. Some of us have jobs we're trying to get to and this complete lack of care is unacceptable.

I got my oil changed here and immediately after my car started displaying the change oil light and then it stalled on me later. Now I have to get my car towed to the mechanics and who knows how much the repairs are gonna cost or what they even ruined. Update: So Take5 spilled oil over the wire harness and inside the internals of my car which caused the issues. Do NOT go here.

Love the staff here! They were super helpful after another oil change place left me with my car leaking oil! Super friendly, attentive and answered all my questions. Not to mention they fixed my problem super quickly! Highly recommend.

The two techs that were working when I went got my car AND ANOTHER CAR!!!!!! Done at the same time! So quick! Great service! From now on I won’t take my car to anywhere else!!!!!!!! The young male manager with the dreads was great and whoever he was training is doing great as well! The oil change was SO QUICK! Won’t go anywhere else!

DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY!! This people are a scam! They accept my Toyota Highlander 2019 to change oil and filter, knowing IN ADVANCE that they did not have the right tool to remove that filter. They told me I need to go to Toyota to change the filter because they only could put the oil. Looks like mechanics in elementary school!! They charge me for that, and I went to Toyota and need to pay again twice to change filter and fill oil again! Will escalate this issue with local authorities since I have everything recorded on video and copy of the invoices from Toyota and Take 5 A local supervisor will make close this business very soon!

On September 29th, I took my car in for a routine oil change. After they completed the service and I was charged, an employee named Angel informed me that they didn’t have the air filter in stock. He told me I would need to return in two days. When I returned, I was told they had ordered the wrong part and that I would need to come back yet again. Today, October 11th, I returned to inquire about the air filter, which has already been paid for and is now affecting the proper functioning of my vehicle. Angel told me that it hadn’t arrived because it was a “special order.” A month later, and now it’s a special order? It’s not a filter for an airplane, it’s for a 2023 SUV. I requested a refund, but instead I received rude and unprofessional responses from both Angel and another employee who claimed to be the manager. At no point did they try to resolve the situation. Now, they are sending a check, which will take 10 business days to arrive, leaving me waiting because of the incompetence of the employees, lack of customer service, and absence of commitment to customer satisfaction. What a waste of time and money. I do not recommend this place at all. Don’t waste your money or time here.

One worker stormed out cussing. Only one worker was at the shop while the other went out for lunch. I waited 35 minutes for the car in front of me to finish. I pulled up and popped my hood. I then waited for another 45 minutes until the guy started to work on my car. I just kept waiting. What a waste of time and if I was the owner/manager, I would fire myself for not being present and ensuring smooth operations. The guy that did work on my car did a great job.

This is the worst oil change place I’ve ever been to. Once I drove up, I did not get greeted, but another car came behind me and got greeted. The worker named Charlie passed by me more than 5 times and didn’t say anything until after the 5th time and this was 20 minutes after I’ve been waiting. He says “have you been greeted” I said no and he instantly said “what you here for” so I waited another 30 minutes and finally pulled up, I opened the hood, and they told me what type of oil change I needed. I sat there for another 10 minutes while him and other employees were complaining about someone not coming into work and I’m just sitting there waiting for them to start. After I just got fed up and left and when I told him I wanted to leave. He behaved nonchalantly and just closed my hood and I left. I drove over to Jimmy Lube and they are much nicer and professional. I would not recommend this take 5 to ANYONE at all. They do not care if they get your business or not.

Excellent customer service. I showed up after they had already closed performing state inspections for the day, but the team was still willing to perform one regardless. I would definitely recommend this location to others for auto service and maintenance!

Not a good experience. Guys were nice but sloppy work. They left oil stains on my bumper and fender. I was there around 30minutes. I looked at my receipt and it said that they checked my tires no they did not it said they cleaned my windshield no they did not there's a whole list of things that they said they did and in fact it was not done. And it was a lot more expensive than I thought it was going to be after I told him what I wanted... would not recommend this place

Upon arrival I was not greeted, but I was asked right away if I was paying with cash or card- when I replied it was cash, the person said it’s going to be $100 dollars. Five minutes later they said they were unable to do the oil change because my oil filter was stuck or stripped - I went to a Jiffy Lube, and they did quick , and without any issues. My 10 minute experience there was weird-

Waited for 45 minutes and then only had premium oi to sell. Cost an extra $45 and will never go back.
