DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE (review from a surgeon here in Baton Rouge). I brought my wife's Audi Q5 here for an oil change in July 2024. The technician accidentally drained all the transmission oil, couldn’t figure out what the issue was, and called his off site manager (Desi) for assistance. At this point the car was fuming large amounts of gray smoke from the exhaust, would not start due to “transmission failure” and dripping oil from the exhaust. The manager told me to “drive it home or take to the dealer.” The car was literally not able to be driven, and if it was, this would have been a life threatening risk to take. I had to call 2 tow truck companies at 9pm at night (with no assistance from Take 5) and have it towed to Audi. I asked for a refund and none was issued. I asked for the managers info, and it was not given. I asked for documentation of the event, and they said they were not able to provide it. The car spent 3 days at Audi and accrued $1500 in damages. Audi clearly documented it was Take 5’s fault. After a long process of finally getting a claim sent out to a 3rd party company (after having to miss work to drive back to Take 5 on several different days, as no one would assist on the phone), I was informed that both the store manager and regional manager had been replaced and my claim was never sent out, despite me providing all the documentation they requested. Not once during this whole 3 month process did anyone follow up appropriately and make sure things were handled. Currently, as of mid September 2024, I have yet to have this issue finalized and not received any money back (not even a refund for my $160 oil change itself). I have spent >10 hours of my life at this point (between phone calls and visits to take 5 and Audi, as well dealing with Take 5’s 3rd party claims company, Fleet Response) and still have not gotten a resolution. I have been in touch with the new regional manager (Kelli O’ Neill) as well. Extremely poor communication, professionalism, and lack of following through are the main sources of frustration, let alone the $1500 loss. If this kind of service was given in the healthcare industry, people would not stand for it at all. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY SERVICES AT TAKE 5 EVER!
