There is no need for lube here, unlike their competitor jiffy lube, trust me you’re gonna need it if you go there instead. Update Feb 2025. I went in for an oil change and the tech Jacob said there was no need for an oil change because my oil was still good. Thank you for your honesty, 10 out of 10 do recommend!

i chose the highest package 124$ but got the old oil tank, not the new full one. the technician noticed i knew that so he was confused and spilled the oil out of the engine compartment. the technician didn't balance the tire for me, when i reminded him he did, but didn't screw the cap back on, it seemed like revenge on me. i wasn't offered water like usual. i paid 124$ but got a terrible deal.

It appeared to be only 2 techs working which where servicing another vehicle. It would have nice to be informed there would a wait upon arrival. However, I was offered a water while I waited. They also forget to provide my follow up sticker which I had to request.

Avoid if you care about your time. I came here 5 separate times at different times of the day. It is close and should have been convenient. 3 times for inspections and the inspector was never on duty. Today I came and asked for emissions and the tech that came out said that the one that does that won't be there until 1:00. We get back there right at 2:00 and we are told that the emissions tech is finishing one up and going to lunch, I stated what I was told earlier and the tech that came out this time stated he came in at 10:00. Apparently if they don't feel like doing something this is what they do? Time is a valuable commodity that you will not get back Spend it somewhere that you are not wasting it.

Normally Take 5 is pretty good about getting you through with an oil change. I have to say yesterday was not their best day. I first attempted to go to Take 5 at Hulen and Hulen Bend. It was so backed up with a line, I went to the Take 5 at Hulen near Risinger. It was a poor customer experience. The Risinger had a guy out front with a sign showing there was 'no line'. That was somewhat true. There was only one car in front of me. The pulled me into the bay and did not come back to my car for 30 minutes. There was no 'Sorry for the wait, we'll be right with you..' or any acknowledgment of my existence. Finally a guy that got done with his lunch got back from break did the truck that was waiting next to me. Then after that truck was done 20 minutes later, they finally got my car. The CSR did not get my name correct in the computer, though I have been a long time customer. I gave him my last receipt so he would have all my info. He still did not do it correctly - my receipt shows I am 'new' customer b\c my name is misspelled. He did not interact with me much at all, other than put the pay machine in my face and give me the sticker for the top off. They did the oil and finally I got out of the bay over an hour later. They did not clean the mileage they wrote on my windshield on the way out. It was a very poor experience. Bad show Take 5.

One car ahead of me when I go there. Spent $104 got there at 305pm didn’t leave until 410pm. So much for “Take 5” more like “Take 120” And I wasn’t the only one. If I wasn’t in the building over the pit I would have left like I saw a couple other people do. Absolutely ridiculous. !!

More like Take90. Every time I come here they always make me wait an hour plus to be seen. They do ok work once you get in, but half your day is gone at that point. Would recommend looking elsewhere.

We called to confirm they were doing an inspection and they said yes. We drove 20 min one way to get the inspection done. There are not a lot of places open late. When we got there they said they don't have any techs and don't know when they will ever have one again.

1/9/25- wow! Significant price jump in all types of products. I have been going to this location for 3 years with three cars and when I pulled up they did not have me in the system. They had another driver and address linked to my car. There seemed to be a lack of professionalism from this crew. Speaking to the customer seemed to be an afterthought. Couldn't figure out who was the shift manager? Got my oil changed but not sure I would I recommend others to this location.

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I went in for a simple oil change, but the service was extremely slow despite being the only customer there at the time. The employees were unprofessional and had a poor attitude while interacting with me. After waiting for about 40 minutes, they told me my car was good to go. However, when I started my car, the low oil light and check engine light immediately began flashing. I asked them what had happened, as I had never seen my check engine light on before. It turned out they had completely forgotten to put in the new oil! This kind of negligence is unacceptable. Not only did they waste my time, but they also put my car at risk. Their lack of care, knowledge, and professionalism left me extremely frustrated and disappointed. I would not recommend this place to anyone and strongly advise others to double-check their work if you decide to use their services.

I used to really enjoy this Take5 location. Good employees who seemed to really care about doing good work on people’s vehicles, but it’s slowly gotten worse and worse. I don’t know if it’s a new manager or new owner but after today I will not return. Aside from the length of time it took them to acknowledge me, they didn’t ever communicate anything to me once I was in the garage getting vehicle serviced. The thing that pushed me over the edge was that they were playing music that cussed constantly, using the F word, the N word and everything in between. Sad to see this location go downhill like this.

We went to get an oil change on our 2025 Ford Explorer and the location couldn’t do it because the model wasn’t in the system.
