I took my car in for an oil change never had any issues. But on Friday November 27, 2024 it was different they always say things you don't want to hear what you need to make your car better I was informed from the MOD that my coolant had more water that coolant and it needed to be treated if I was planning on getting on the road for the Holiday. Me being a female took his work for it and got the work done. I went to work got off and ran a few errands before getting on the road in the mist of doing this I could smell something when I made my first stop I thought well I did just get the coolant work done so that couldn't be the problem. So when I made it home and turned off my car I could still hear the fan running so I knew something wasn't right. I went back to the location and talked to the MOD on and told him somethings wasn't right with my car they it smell like it was overheating mind you this wasn't happening before I brought my car in. He took my car into the garage and looked at it and came back and apologize by saying that he don't clear the line good and air bubbles were in the line. He reassured me that it was fixed and I was good to get on the highway for the holiday and if I had any issues he would be back at the shop on Friday and Saturday. Well I took his word and got on the highway before I could make it to my destination my car overheated and I had to pull over on the dark highway. I called a friend for help they brought some coolant and put it in my vehicle. I proceeded to my destination since I was only 47 minutes away. 8 minutes from my destination it ran hot again I was able to put water in it and make it to my destination. Needless to say I have to get my vehicle towed back to Houston because I didn't want to take the risk of messing something else up. Michele K 2016 Cadillac XTS

Great customer service! They showed me my clean oil and the new filter they were putting on my car. That was important to me. They didn't forget to reset the oil level on the computer Un my car. I appreciated all of that.

I would give zero stars if I could. Extremely long wait just to find out they did not have a fuel or oil filter for my 2016 Chevy truck.

Dillion (who recently took over this location) and his team are amazing! I’ve visited a few different locations over the past year, but I think I’ve finally found my favorite. The service here is exceptional, and I’ll definitely be coming back to this location for all my oil changes!

They charge about three times what a regular oil change costs. They never have the less expensive oil. They always say they are out of stock and do not know when they will be restocked.

New management is amazing!! Very kind and hospitable, they brought us out water to drink in a bottle right away upon arrival and we had a great experience. 8 min and it was complete:)

Only 1 star for the fact that the Mgr broke my back windshield wiper trying to replace it and he said sorry but I will have to take it to the Jeep dealership to have it repaired! Not a good customer experience ..

I had a great experience, they were friendly, working as a team, and I was also given a recommendation on the type of oil I should use. I came in looking for the cheapest oil but after the worker recognized I was in the Hemi truck he advised me to pay a little extra to avoid burning oil faster. Overall my experience was great. I look forward to visiting this location again.

I had a wonderful experience with the Take5. This was not my first visit there but it was my best time there. The technician was professional, friendly and very informative. I had an oil change and a car inspection. I was not there long and I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the S. Braeswood Take5. Shirley G.

I was gonna go for the first time for an oil change to this place but after reading some of the comments now I’m hesitant of going all of them have the same thing in common “bad service” I believe I don’t care if the staff is friendly if at the end of the day they didn’t service my vehicle how is supposed to be We need service done right not some individual smiling at me.
