I always feel like family when I go to Five Minute Oil Change.The atmosphere is awesome, and the employees are always professional and courteous . I have a customer for over 5 years, and I don’t see myself or my family getting our oil changes from anywhere else. I trust the service I have been receiving.

I had a $25-off coupon for any oil change, but when I got to the location, the person working there, who claimed to be the manager, told me the coupon was only valid for a full synthetic oil change. I had already called customer service beforehand, and they confirmed that the coupon could be used for any oil change, including synthetic blend. When I asked him to scan the coupon, confident it would work since it clearly stated it was valid for all oil changes, he finally scanned it—and it went through without issue. However, he then claimed that it wasn’t my coupon that worked; instead, he said he had used his “own personal” coupon to help me out. Yet, the receipt showed the exact code from my coupon. It was clear that he just wanted to upsell me on a full synthetic oil change. His attitude was rude and dismissive, and he should work on his customer service skills.

New to the Take 5 experience. I stopped by this location on Saturday after hearing my ex boyfriend be totally providing excellence with his customers at a Take 5 near Spring/Woodlands I decided to give a location near me a try. I had to greet the manager with good morning. He started straight in with asking which oil package I wanted. After I started the greeting he spoke back. I told him what package I wanted,and that I want new windshield wipers and the antifreeze flush. The manager did provide me with coupons so thankful for that. I spent alot of money here and I should have received better service. I wanted an air filter and I was told he didn't have my type for my car. When I got home I noticed that the plastic container was empty for the antifreeze. The manager pulled my car info from the vin Number with him never asking for my phone number, my name, address and email address. When I look at the address etc if was someone else info on my receipt. I asked if he could fix it and his answer was no I can't go back to fixed it. I told my ex boyfriend and he said that it can be changed. I will call corporate office to fix this issue. I'm not impressed with the services at this location so I am sure I want go. Customer service is Key and I was given less than satisfying service by a manager. Please do better.

Went today 10/12/2024 at 8am appointment for our 2001 Acura TL for first time oil change. We were told that the oil plug was leaking and loose. We just ignored it and let them finished what they had to do. But I felt something had happened bad already. They even checked the engine filter and asked if we wanted to replace it. I told them I just replaced it few months ago. They even told me that the coolant needs to be replaced and it’s dirty. The guy argued saying it needs to be flush but we just did the coolant flush 2 months ago. When we arrived home I checked it and the oil was leaking very bad. We called our mechanic friend and he told us they over tightened it that’s why it got loose. And told me he had to replace the oil pan too. Plus we need to get a rental car while our car was being repaired at the shop. Which will cost us more money because of a simple change oil that is never done properly. We’ve been servicing that car for years and this is the first time it happened. We went back the same morning and talked to one of the guy and he told me it’s been leaking before they opened it. If that so why did they continue to do the service if there is a problem. They didn’t show it to us before they opened it. He said he won’t do a claim because there is an existing leak before they opened it. But they didn’t show us so there is no proof it was leaking. I’ve been checking the oil level of that car and it’s been parked on the same spot on my garage and there’s no marks of leakage or on pavement. I don’t know why people lie after they make a mistake and make their costumers suffer financially to fix it with just a simple oil change that is never done correctly. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Lack of accountability and honesty, never resolved a serious issue which means bad customer service experience. I know they are not gonna suffer loosing a customer like me. But be careful coming on this shop.

I had a great experience getting my state inspection at this Take 5. Emily was so friendly and did my inspection in no time. She even took the time to clean up a dirt spill from a plant I had in my car. Would definitely recommend this location!

Ongoing Oil Leak After Service. I had a terrible experience at Take 5 Oil Change on Hwy 6 & Beechnut! After having my oil changed on my 2019 Toyota Highlander, which has only 30,000 miles and is barely driven since I work from home, I noticed it was leaking oil. I took it back, and Emily, one of the employees, admitted they had mistakenly installed a double plug. They claimed they fixed it by removing the extra plug and refilling the oil, but the leak continued. When I returned for a third time, they tried several different plugs but couldn’t stop the leak. Despite Emily initially admitting the mistake, they later denied responsibility and advised me to contact their corporate office, saying the leak was “small” and “safe to drive.” This is completely unacceptable for a service I paid for, especially on a relatively new car in excellent condition. This has been incredibly frustrating and concerning. Now I have to deal with a leaking car and the hassle of filing a claim with corporate. I do not recommend this place to anyone—poor service, lack of accountability, and unresolved issues.
