I received a coupon in the mail and decided to try Take 5 for an oil change. I love the concept of being able to stay in your car so I was glad to find out there was a place to do this close by. The staff greeted me with a bottle of water, got me right in and explained everything clearly and even had treats for my dog! Everyone was professional and courteous and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I’ve continued to visit this location and consistently receive great service.

I normally have a GREAT experience with this location, however my last visit was not that. I visited on 10/31/24 to get an oil change. While there, staff recommended that I get a coolant exchange. Ok cool I will do that. They exchanged the coolant did the oil change and off I went. Fast forward to 8 days later and as I am trying to accelerate in my car, it starts to jerk and my temperature gage was all the way to the H. Luckily I wasn't too far from home so I turn around and park at the house. I pop the hood and the cap for the coolant is not on tight at all, simply placed on top of where it should be. Over the course of the 8 days ALL of the coolant leaked out causing my car to dangerously overheat. I drive back to the Take 5 location the next day and explain the situation. The manager at the store put in a refund and told me to expect the money back in my account in 1-2 days. I was only refunded for the coolant exchange, however, I feel that I should have been refunded the total amount of the services due to the inconvenience and the potential of my car being inoperable. All I received was a "sorry about that" and a top off of the coolant. Anyway I waited about 4 days and nothing was in my account so I gave customer service a call. Turns out the refund was put in but they MAIL THE REFUND CHECK! I'm not sure why that is the process but that should definitely be changed. Take 5 is supposed to be convenient as you don't have to get out of the car but just a warning to check everything you can after services if you decide to use this place!

My Volkswagen had its oil changed on October 6th. I drove like that for about a week because I believe that they knew what they were doing. However, my car started smoking and I went to the take five in Chester and they stated that the location on Brook Road did not attach my engine filter correctly and lost one of my screws. The manager LC Was very respectful, however when I spoke to the other manager, he told me I was making a bigger deal of it than It needed to be. I gave them documentation from the Chester location as well as documentation from AutoZone stating what they did wrong and he said he did not know what they were talking about. I would not recommend This location to anyone unless you want your car messed up. Legal action is pending.

Not one to write reviews or complain. But I went in for an oil change on my new Honda HRV 2024. I pull out with skid plate scraping the ground. I come back to get it fixed and there was not a single apology for the inconvenience. Fast forward 4 hours on my drive down to Florida. My Skid plate falls from under my car. Has to drive 20mph to the nearest gas station (10 miles). Once I get to the gas station to patch up the skid plate. I noticed an oil leak. I patch up the skid plate and take it to another take 5, and they said that whoever did this had no clue what they were doing. Skid plate not put back correctly, cap for the oil not put on correctly. Filter not placed correctly. Added 4 hours to my already long trip and dangerously swerved due to the service. Legal action currently taking place.

Terrible service center! As soon as I pulled in a saw a long line and immediately was told they didn’t have my type of oil filer. Told me to go to another location but didn’t offer a coupon or an apology. I don’t believe them; I think they didn’t feel like doing the work. Go to Jiffy Lube!

They said they couldn'tchange the oil in my 4Runner cuz they couldn't get a push pin out to take my skid plate down. They did however loosen my drain plug and forgot to tighten it back up so my engine lost a pretty good bit of oil.

Updating this review - they have made big changes and service was fast, courteous and thorough. —————— Slow. Have to wait 40 minutes until I was seen, don’t think they have enough folks working. Once they got to me they were fine and had good service.
