I've had a previous bad experience at these kinds of oil changing places (NOT Take 5), and I was scared to go, but a car needs an oil change. I went to this Take 5 and everyone was welcoming and understand. Joe, one of the technicians, really helped me out and made me comfortable, especially with a little one in the back seat.

I’ve been going to this location since it opened. I’ve always had a great experience there. This time, I took in my wife’s VW Atlas for an oil change and it was not the experience I have always had. I pulled in the bay and the female attendee was super nice and friendly, gather mileage and information as normal. The older gentleman doing my actual oil change was loudly upset he couldn’t get the skid plate off the bottom of the car. He was saying “man people just don’t know what they buy when they go buy cars” and “this piece of shit European can and its use of several size bolts” etc. I had my window down, obviously, bc you don’t enter or exit the vehicle because everything is done through the window. This went on for about 15 minutes because that’s how long he took to just get the plate off the bottom to start draining the oil. All in all I was there over an hour, listening to this man criticize my car purchase and what a piece of shit my car was. Couldn’t get me out of there fast enough once he was done, didn’t bother to reset the oil reset or anything like that. In the next bay was a younger gentleman who was loudly complaining about the female attendee don’t tightening the oil cap tight enough and saying things like “this is why she shouldn’t be doing service”. The man in the car he was servicing was wide eyed like this dude is just offending those poor girl for no reason. The manager sat in his office with the door open and didn’t stop the conversation or anything. It was pretty wild.

The service was fast and everyone was very nice. The young lady explained step by step about my visit, the oil I was choosing and the air filter she wanted me to buy.😊

Incredibly impressed with this take Five location. Went to go get my oil changed just the other day, and they checked everything for me. They checked my windshield wiper fluid, my windshield wipers, all of my filters. They were incredibly thorough. The service was great! They were very professional! I will definitely be back!

I’ve actually been coming to this Take 5 for years. I recently decided to read through the reviews because I wanted to post this photo (so there is a better understanding of pricing for this area of Tampa) and I just gotta say, some of the people writing negative reviews are saying such untrue things!! The staff is knowledgeable and kind. ALWAYS! They never pressure you to buy anything, they simply share your options with you and give you their suggestion. And on top of that, you’re in and out in less than 20 minutes. Today I got my oil changed (2023 VW - Taos) and the a kind man actually offered my older mother a cold bottle of water while we wait. (A whole 12 minutes, to be exact.) So all of you that are reading the reviews, start with the 1 star reviews. Click the person leaving the review and look at all the OTHER bad reviews they’ve left for other companies. Clearly, some people just don’t like anything! If you’re looking to save a few dollars, goto the car dealership you purchased your car from. Sit in the lobby for 5+ hours and ask yourself, “Is saving $25 dollars REALLY worth me losing my whole day?” Because if it is, man, good for you. Live that life! But for me personally, not at all worth the time wasted or the loss of sanity as you sit listening to the same sales ad and sad dealership radio on a loop. I’m forever a patron of Take 5. You’re doing great y’all. “Beep! Beep!”

HORRIBLE!!!!! DO NOT GO HEREE!!! THEY WILL SCAM YOU!!! I went in for a economy oil change since that’s what i always get for my Hyundai but all the sudden “ your car doesn’t take that, it needs premium” and without informing me they already put that in after i told them no i don’t want it. They saw i was a girl and took advantage of me and charged me $93 dollars when it shouldn’t even have costed more than 40 bucks since i also had a 50% off coupon. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DONT GO TO THESE PEOPLE!! super unprofessional and sloppy work/ customer service. My car was just a regular Hyundai with only 38k mileage, it didn’t need “premium oil”. the people who worked on my car were Maurice, Jeremiah, and Tonio.

First impression is everything, employees don't look professional pants hanging off butt, employee walking around vaping, showed my military id for discount employee didn't apply it , and didn't offer to fix it just said my bad.

I was referred to this Take 5, pulled up on a Sunday afternoon. The guys who work here are great, they were so helpful. They also seemed to enjoy their job which is always nice. I had a perfect experience. It didn’t take long to get my oil change and get things checked out. I recommend them.

The two young Gentleman's on staff was very professional had such and outstanding attitude. Treated me with dignity and the up most respect. Was very concern about my overall safety as i feel as though bout to fall below but the guideness of the young man assured me that i was going be okay just follow his hand signs which i did and came forward with ease. Paid for 6 quarts. Ended up only getting five. Had to add a 6 quart. This is the second time it's happened. I'm really sick of this place now. I'm hearing a lot of really bad things about their service. I'm done.

We live out of state and our daughter goes to college in Tampa. She has a 2004 Camry and we have always used conventional oil. The tech 'Maurice' INSTITED that she had to used full synthetic and said that "using regular oil is like putting sand paper in your engine". Unfortunately my daughter fell into the high pressure. Way to rack up the bill for college students! Do Not Go Here!!!!

Would go back in a heartbeat!! Our Reps (we had 2)went above and beyond for us. The only flaw was… we waited almost 25 minutes to get serviced. Worth the wait.

Ever since I started going to this Take 5 it’s being nothing but mistakes either from the manager or the employee. They leave my air box open or the last one was they did not install properly my wipers that one flew off. Last time I was there on October 23 2024 I saw the manager in the parking lot putting parts on his BMW while 2 new employees where by themselves with at least 5 to 6 cars the same way I came in the same way I left. If you want to stay there for at least 2 hours go to this one… unfortunately I cannot do my own oil change due to being a company fleet vehicle but I would’ve done it myself since day one. Last time I was there a whole bunch of corporate managers were there just watching and not helping at all. That is the country we live now a days unfortunately… will not recommend

Got my cabin air filter changed and they messed it up causing my ac to only work on the highest setting when it was working perfectly fine the day before. Brought my car back the next day and they looked at it and said there was nothing they could do. One mechanic (I believe his name was Tim) kept trying to upsell me on fixing my car after he clocked out so I would have to pay him directly. Now I have to pay for my ac to be fixed out of my pocket at another (trusted) mechanic.

Horrible service. Lack of communication by the guys changing oil. They didn’t check any other fluids or air pressure. Never going back. Wasn’t comfortable at all dealing with these very unskilled unfriendly place

I'm writing this review because it's 7:01 and I was turned away because the guy said he's done enough cars today even though they don't close until 8pm I turned around and they took a car after I left. So they must just pick who they want to service, so hopefully your their type to not turn away like me.. I had my baby in the car and everything... its not easy to coordinate time like this as a busy parent. I've honestly never been treated this way by a company. If you want to find lazy workers go to this location cause they will tell you they done enough and make their own hours regardless of what their company that pays them needs from them. As a business owner I would be appalled if my employees were turning away customers cause they felt they were done. My business wouldn't last long just because my employees want to go home ... oh and he said "I can offer you a $15 coupon if you come tomorrow." I can find that online myself you are not offering anything to me i can't do myself.
