Tallent diesel did a DCR swap and a few other things I needed knocked out on my f250 . Called them on a Friday and they had me drop it off Tuesday and I had it back Wednesday!!! They were quick and efficient .the lady handling the callswas very polite . I will definitely come back when I need more parts put on! Thanks yal

My truck sat at his shop for months while I was overseas and absolutely nothing happened to it except parts being plucked off of it. I talked to other people and they spoke of him taking transmission parts. Beware of this guy he only wants quck jobs.

I found talent diesel out of necessity… Two other shops had my truck for up to two months. What in the world are you doing if you can’t get to a simple repair in two months? Anyway, I couldn’t be happier with Tallent. I’ve taken my truck there twice now. Each time they answer the phone courteously and are quick to get back to me about what is wrong. These people will even call you before you called him. Imagine that! Wonderful service wonderful repairs. Highly recommend.

I said it before, and I’ll say it again, I can’t thank you enough for your service and professionalism. I am a hot shot truck driver, and was driving through Waco to pick up a load in Fort Worth. I pulled over at 11:10am. My truck was smoking profusely, and after lookin under the vehicle… gallons of oil drained from me vehicle (2001 F350). It was Thursday, and I was performing a musical gig in Alva, OK the next evening! I was towed to Tallent Diesel and was met at the door by the owner, Austin. Well… to make a long story short, he and his mechanics had me up and running better than I ever recall my truck running - and in less than 3 hours! A true Godsend, and I made the gig! I’m sure everyone in the Waco area knows Tallent Diesel, and rightly so! I’m glad to know these good people, and recommend them highly for those who drive older diesel trucks. We Have been buying horse quality hay from them since January and generally it’s been pretty decent hay. The last 8 round bales Austin Tallent brought us were full of needle/spear grass, burrs and stickers. We pulled these bales out of the feeders and attempted to contact them for replacement or refund. They did not respond to texts or phone calls and we are stuck with 8 poor quality round bales. After 5 months of good customer service this was very disappointing and we won’t be giving them any additional business and will not recommend them to anyone. Buyer beware!

Do not use their service! Asked Tallent to review and pre buy on a 6.0 diesel gave me feedback that the IcP was leaking and had sticking veins on the turbo. I was quite happy that they drove to look at the truck at the lot as we purchased it site unseen. We opted to have them change the ICP sensor for my sons truck knowing that we wanted it to be reliable and trust worthy. This is his daily truck which needed to be reliable. My son purchased the truck and drove it to their shop with no issues. The truck ran fine and never gave any inclination of any issue. Once Tallent installed the icp sensor and supposedly new wire harness pigtail my son picked the truck up. 3 miles down the road it stopped would not start or even able to put in drive. I made countless calls to have them check on my son as I was far away and he was heading back home which was a 5 hour drive. They would not return my messages or even text which was concerning! Finally a kid answers at the shop and drove to my son. Blamed the truck on a empty tank which it showed 3/8 full then left him there stranded. Finally my son had his girlfriend father drive 5 hours to pick him up. Had a blow out on the trailer and lost a fender. Needless to say Tallent is a horrible place do not take your vehicle here. They overcharged us on parts and would not even warranty or return my calls. $85 for a $13 harness and hundreds of dollars for a sensor that prob cost them pennies. I finally changed the sensor out with genuine ford part myself and the truck runs fine. This cost us countless of hours and money not including stress to two families. You can’t trust this outfit!!!! I have never pursued anyone with a court or lawful process but I will Be proceeding to file against this business unless they rectify the outcome. Beware!!
