INCOMPETENT at best, knowingly DECEITFUL. ***UPDATE 1*** I was contacted by their service team 1/30 and placed in contact with the Manager. The previous person I spoke with was just a salesman. Management offered me a refund of the cost of Alignment service to be performed by the Ford Dealership. Another itty-bitty minor issue, the nut from my passenger tie rod came off while I was driving that left my truck inoperable and had to be towed on a Sunday evening($230). Again, not completing the job correctly which could have ended much worse. Will post a final update to the saga that is my final experience with Tate boys. *OG REVIEW* I'm not one for leaving 1 Star reviews, but damn. Been a happy customer through the last 4-5 years until yesterday. After approaching Tate Boys to see if they could install a set of Eibach lowering springs on Monday 1/27, they wanted to check my vehicle (2022 F-150 Lightning) and equipment (springs) the shop Manager and the Technician (who stated that they could install and align) my components. During our initial visit the Tech said the labor rates would be $150/hr and would require around 7hrs (150 x 7= $1050, tax and parts expected to bump that a little) to complete the job. Initially, thought that was on the high side, since a majority of the research I had seen from other owners who had this preformed stated between $675-$900. Since I had great experiences in the past and I enjoyed my outcomes before, I thought if that's what it would take to get the job done right, then it's fine. Morning of 1/28 Tate Boys had the truck in their possession from 9:15a till I called at 2:56p which the Manager informed me that they were just settling the paperwork, but the job was finished and I could retrieve my vehicle. Excited, that they might have come in under budget on the quote of $1050. Upon arrival, they acted like installing these springs drained their souls of all that was good and holy, like they had stood in the face of some enormous immortal beast, like standing toe to toe with Thanos in Marvel's Endgame. When given the final bill, nothing was mentioned about what was or wasn't performed during the job and the total amount $1305! So for $1305 and 5ish hours of work I recieved, installed springs with no alignment on a F-150. After shuddering in my front end and pulling on acceleration, which though odd. I called morning 1/29 and spoke with the Manager to inquire about the shudder, he got very defensive and somewhat combative stating, "I never said anything about an alignment, we don't have the software or mirrors to do that here." When pressed about how the cost of the service or even the lack of communication during pick-up, all I got was a "Sorry Mr. McConnell, I didn't tell you that you'd need to get a $400-$500 alignment somewhere else when you picked up your truck. That's my fault" I'm not as frustrated at the COST, because I willing will pay for quality. Where my disappointment lies is, the failure to inform me that they might not be the shop to use for this level of service. Not once in the lead up, during, or directly after did they communicate their inability or confidence in doing the job correctly. Incompetent and/or deceitful, whatever it was I will not be requesting services in the future and will be HIGHLY vocal to my professional and personal community.

My car is kind of jank, so when getting an oil change I just asked if they could take a look at what things might be going wrong underneath my car that they couldsee, and they took pictures and gave recommendations and I really appreciated that!

Absolutely the best place to have service! I have oil changes done here and I never feel pressured to do anything else. They let you know if theres anything that needs attention via text and that's it. The staff is very friendly, helpful and respectful. I can trust they take care of my vehicle.

Great service at Tate Boys today, just like they always provide. They were able to get me in to replace four tires on my pickup and do an alignment without an appointment. Dylan kept me updated on the status of the work and they have a good spot to be able to set up and work while waiting. Will always come to Tate Boys any time I need tires!

My family and I will not be returning. Three employees gave me conflicting explanations about why my car started pulling to the right after a routine tire balance, rotation, and alignment. They then tried to convince me I needed two new tires, claiming they would become dangerous within two months. Thankfully, I trusted my instincts and got a second opinion at Discount Tire, where I was treated with respect and informed that my tires were nowhere near needing replacement.

Absolutely great in and out quick. Was quoted a astonishing amount of money to do TPMS sensors somewhere else. Tate boys did it Great and had a wonderful price. Definitely will be going back for any other needs I have on my vehicle.

Went with a buy 3 get 1 free deal. Dillon was awesome and professional. Installation, road hazard, alignment check, and brake check all came out to less than $200 a tire. Hell of a deal and great work.

Moore without an appointment! \Checked my battery, explained my problem. had a new one delivered! explained what I need to do to finish my problem & sent me to Team One to initialized and they also finalized my problem very quickly. It’s time to look for a new place to handle my routine vehicle maintenance. I have referred business to this location for years but no longer. The management and leadership has completely changed over the years and I no longer trust them to handle a simple oil change and tire rotation.

So unhappy with this place. I had my own experience with a manager at this location causing me to look elsewhere for a trusted place to take my vehicle. My father bought a set of tires from them 2-3 years ago. They stated this purchase came with free oil changes & tire rotation x 3 years. He continued to take his truck in when visiting from out of town. Until today... He asked the young guy helping him if they still carried the oil he uses. They told him "no. They changed that months ago." Dad asked what they used now & was told an oil he was unfamiliar with. My father used to sell oil, so he asked the employee who packaged/manufactured that brand, & the guy says, "what difference does it make?" Dad asked, "you can't tell me the maker of the brand of oil you now use & want to put in my truck?" The kid says, "well, I still don't understand what difference it makes." This is why your location is losing business. Your employees are rude to customers. My dad is 68 yrs old & simply wanted to know more about the brand of oil they used & would be putting in his vehicle.

Wasn't very happy about not being told about the "tire warranty" that was an extra 40 dollars a tire. Outside of that service was good and the gentleman that helped me was really nice and professional
