Wow, the guys at Taylor Auto Repair really took care of me. They were very thoughtful in diagnosing the problem, and in triaging with me the criticality of other identified repairs. Really appreciated Ethan’s perspective in helping me make the most of my repair dollars spent. They’ve definitely earned my business going forward. Could not recommend them more highly to you.

I met the guys at Taylor Auto Repair when I had them check out a car I was thinking about buying for my daughter’s first car. They were very thorough, and gave me a detailed report (with pictures!) with any items that are, or might be an issue. Luckily this car checked out, so it will be back for service. Thanks guys!

If you don’t know about this place, you NEED to know ASAP! Talk about integrity, kindness, honesty, and all around greatness! When great work meets great prices, what more could you really ask for?! I came in for a second opinion and not only did they correct an issue, they solved multiple problems and completely turned my entire day around! Can’t thank this team enough!

Very detailed inspection. I was shown my vehicle's problem areas while up on the rack and given a cost breakdown and priority/severity for each repair area. Everyone there was very friendly as well.

I recently visited Taylor Auto Repair and couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The team was incredibly friendly and courteous from the moment I walked in. I was worried I'd be stuck there all day, but they worked quickly and had me out in just a couple hours. My Toyota 86 blew its engine in uptown and I had it towed here without knowing about this shop before hand. Ethan was very transparent in pricing and estimates and wouldn’t work without my approval. Everything you’d want in a mechanic. They did an engine replacement for me and the car is running great again.

First of all!! The customer service is like family. I trust these guys. Volvo is a persnickety car when comes to parts and service! I called Ethan one morning when my 17 XC60 woke up with The ‘check engine’ light on. Not what you want to see on a Volvo. Ethan said bring it over, let’s check it out👌. I’m a single woman not my first rodeo, they took me into the garage and showed me what needed to happen. Long story short, my vehicle is running like a top. Sounds better, feels better. Good transportation is a must in Dallas, Tx. I would Highly recommend this garage!! Especially if you have a Volvo💪👏👏👏 Michelle D.

Im crying my experience was so bad here! I literally paid over $1100 for a tune up and 3 weeks later my car stopped in the middle of the road. I sent car back and my car was returned to me with parts out after I would not to agree to paying 6000k for engine replacement! This place used to be Dallas Elect who had been serving my car for years with no complaints. I have reached out to them and I get no response. PLEASE DON'T GO HERE! HORRIBLE! I attached pictures to Yelp! .......Adding to this post. I finally received a call from Ethan after posting this review and we talked about this issue, So basically he admitted he did not do a diagnostic or a tune-up, Ethan did offer to pick the car up and put the parts back on and return the car to me at his expense, I then look outside, cause my dog started barking and notice this strange person working on my car in my driveway. Scared me to death! He had no knowledge the car was supposed to be picked up.and kept work! Continue to BEWARE! I started out simply needing a tune up on a car I don't drive much and now I have no car at all!!! No way anyone should be treated like this! I am in shock and still crying!! 1st pic is how I got my car back! 2nd picture some strange man in my driveway under my hood!

My A/C suddenly started blowing hot air on a 100-degree July afternoon. After my long-time garage told me they couldn’t even look at my car for two days, I contacted Ethan Taylor and he told me to go ahead and bring my car in. They assessed my problem (an expansion valve in the compressor) within 30 minutes. They gave me an estimate, ordered the part, and had my car ready early the next morning. The A/C blows cold now and the repair charge was reasonable. A detailed explanation of charges was provided. Polite, professional service all around.

My first time here and overall first thing I seen was great service I would say fantastic service I mean this guy took the time to listen to me and my description of what's going on with my car and even offered me a ride home instead of waiting , In the waiting room and to me that's great customer service upon and upon diagnostics they give you great detailed information of what's going on with your car so yes definitely five stars

This was a great experience. I brought my camry in and there was a problem in the engine and they had it fixed within 3 hours. They also text you and let you know exactly what they found and you are able to approve or deny the services recommended via text. I would definitely recommend this shop and plan on taking my car back next time it needs work.

We have needed a Volvo repair center for a long time and wish I found this place sooner. The new owner, bought from previous 40 yr owner, is great to work with. I needed a compete look at our daughters car and found it needed lots of work. I knew it did but needed an expert to review. They did a detailed inspection, with photos, and walked through it with an order of importance. In the end I did an oil change as we were unsure which direction to go. They were cool with it and stated just let us know if we can help. Its been 2 weeks and are opting for a newer car. Mainly due to vehicle age and the amount of work needed. The prices are very fair, but beyond my threshold for such an old vehicle. My only regret is not giving them the business. I have full trust in this shop and appreciate their approach. If you have a Volvo I recommend them!

Went in for oil change and got checked in fast and car got taken in right away Taylor checked the car in and instantly got to work on it... I highly recommend taking your car here to get serviced
