Great, honest mechanic. I've been giving his contact info to everyone. Highly recommend. Everyone else always tries to upsell me or exaggerate problems. He is upfront and honest and tells you exactly what the problem is. I went to him after others gave me crazy estimates saying I needed way more than I actually did. My late husband used to do all my car work. After he passed I was horrified at how patronizing the auto workers could be to a woman. Then I remembered my husband had become friends with a mechanic he worked with years ago. He always said Dudley was a talented and amazing mechanic. So I Googled "Dudley mechanic" and Tec Pro Auto Care popped up; can't believe I found him!

I have been a Tec Pro Auto Care customer for 10 years and always received excellent customer service from Dudley until my last visit. I had my car towed to Tec Pro on November 24, 2023, and picked it up on December 2, 2023. When I arrived at Dudley's shop on December 2, he greeted me and told me my car wasn't cooperating. He said he replaced the ignition switch and the car ran fine but all the warning lights on the instrument cluster were on and did not turn off after the engine started. He couldn't explain why the lights wouldn't turn off and said I could take the car and he would research the problem and call me with a possible solution on Tuesday, December 5th. I asked him if he had pressed the reset button located in the fuse box and told he me that he had not thought about doing that. We went to where my car was parked and I started the engine and he pressed the reset button. All of the warning lights went off. I was surprised by his failure to do this, something I would have expected a master technician to have done before my arrival. He looked at the instrument cluster after the warning lights turned off and said, your odometer isn't working and is showing an “error” message. My odometer was working when I took it to Tech Pro and when I picked the car up it no longer displayed the mileage. He told me to take the car since everything else was working and he would do research to try to find out what could be causing the “error” message and would call me on Tuesday, December 5, with a possible solution. I did not hear from him on Tuesday so I called him and got his voicemail. I identified myself and the issue with my odometer and requested a callback. I did not receive a callback on Tuesday so I called him on Wednesday and requested a callback on his voicemail. He did not call on Wednesday so I left another message on voicemail on Thursday and as of today December 11, 2023, Dudley has not had the courtesy or decency to return my voicemails but gladly took my $826.76 payment. Thank you, Dudley! Now I'm left with a nonworking odometer that worked before taking it to Tec Pro Auto Care. I believe that the ignition switch was improperly installed or something was damaged when the old ignition switch was removed. Now Dudley is hiding out ignoring my calls and voicemail hoping I will go away. I will go away and take my business elsewhere and not recommend Tec Pro Auto Care to anyone else! This issue could have been mitigated if Dudley had called me like he said he would! Now I have a car with a nonworking odometer that is going to cause me a problem when I sell or trade the car because there won't be a record of the actual mileage. Thanks, Dudley! I DO NOT RECOMMEND TEC PRO AUTO CARE!

Dudley is an amazing mechanic that has serviced my family's vehicles for over a decade. He does great work, is very knowledgeable, and has always been very fair and honest. Thanks for the upgrades to the 4runner Dudley, they are awesome!

Dudley is one of the best master mechanics that I know. I go to him for any help or concern that I have with my vehicles and the vehicles of everyone that I know, and he manages to always know something about the issue and when he gets his hands on these vehicles he comes through with an honest answer. Not to forget he gives a great price rate for everything he does. I will definitely miss him when he decides to not be in business anymore. Such a great attitude, overall he deserves more than 5 stars from me

Traveling through we developed a significant noise from our car. We were waiting for Dudley when he arrived at the shop. He very meticulously looked over the engine and determined what he thought the issue was. Unfortunately, his schedule was too backed up to help us with the repair but he confirmed what my husband (who is a backyard mechanic) thought it was. If I lived in town. I would use Dudley.

Dudley definitely knows vehicles. He came HIGHLY recommended by my brother in law and my brother. He fixed my son's truck when several other mechanics could not and for an incredible price. My only regret is that we did not take the truck to him sooner. Dudley also fixed a radiator hose problem in my Jeep promptly and at an incredible price. We will be using only Dudley now as our mechanic for all our vehicles. He explains EVERYTHING in detail and does excellent work and at a fair price. Thank you Dudley!

Dudley with Tec Pro Auto Care was great! He was very professional and prompt on answering any or all questions I had on my 1999 Tacoma. He replaced my clutch within 1 day of my scheduled appt. I recommend Tec Pro Auto Care for your next repair shop.

Dudley is an excellent mechanic,and he consistently comes through for my wife and I,as well as my daughter.He was recommended by a friend after I had complained that I didn’t trust mechanics,and what a great recommendation it was. Dudley is the most honest and capable mechanic we've ever had. We always talk about how much we adore him when we leave. He is professional and timely, and treats us well. His prices have been thousands lower than the dealer quote on several occasions. I can't recommend him highly enough. Everyone in our extended family uses him too.

I took my wife's car to Dudley because of the rave recommendation of a friend and I am happy to say he was right. Dudley did excellent work on car at a very reasonable (dare I say bargain) price. His communication was excellent, he didn't try to speak over my head and was very thorough and willing to answer questions. I now have a new mechanic. My friend has been going to Dudley for years and said he won't go anywhere else.

TEC PRO Auto Care took care of my check engine light and got my vehicle to finally pass emissions. The repair process was explained in detail and was very thorough. The experience and repair process was quick and done correctly. Before TEC PRO my vehicle was in other shops where the mechanics would treat me like I was interrupting their day. Dudley treated me with respect and is the friendliest mechanic I've ever met. Other shops wanted to just throw money at the problem and replace parts that were not necessary to replace. TEC PRO inspected and tested all parts of the faulty system before determining what needed to be replaced. They have my trust and I will definitely be coming back for any future repairs.
