I called Tech One Automotive when my car began stalling out following a minor front-end collision that left no visible damage. The person who scheduled my appointment was very courteous and efficient and offered me a ride home. The advisor, Austin, explained their process clearly and patiently, called me with the diagnostic report when he said he would, and called again when the repair was finished—later the same day. They sent an Uber to bring me back to the shop and even washed my car, which was running better than it did before the accident. I’ve never had such exceptional customer service or automotive service. This is the only shop I’ll be taking my car to from now on.

Called the dealer to arrange service. They told me a 48 - 72 hours to diagnose the vehicle. Daniel at Tech One told me to bring the car in right away. They had it diagnosed and repaired on the same day.

Definitely, hands down, the worst place you can ever take your car to. I had a long review written prior to this one, in which I outlined the many highly unprofessional, and horrible service...where in they had cut my brake line and made me pay for it, and then also did some really horrible work on my car which led it to run worse than what it did prior to me ever taking it to them. David promised he'd make it right, even gave me some hush money, after seeing that review. He had them get everything right, but that ended up costing me an easy 5k. So...like a fool, I changed my review. Pffttt...worst decision ever. Because they had most of my parts under warranty, I was obligated to go back every time there was a problem, most recently the problem was a sound that I had been reporting coming from under the hood. I couldn't locate it because the sound only happened while driving around 70 mph. They said nothing was wrong and they couldn't hear it. About a week or two later, as the sound persisted, I took it back...only this time they claim to have found the problem and linked it to something with the exhaust coming loose and they needed to tac weld it. Problem never was resolved. Now, here I am today with no vehicle at all because that sound turned out to be coming from my engine, and left unfixed, it caused internal damage to my engine and destroyed it. They claim there was nothing they could do to prevent that from happening and it's not their fault. Yeah...I'd say the same thing if I destroyed someone's only means of transportation too. Ohh...I completely forgot to Mention how they were fully prepared to charge me $2,000 to replace my door 3 door handles on my car. Claimed it would take them 10 hours to do, they would have to remove the door panels , and all kinds of stuff. Yeah, i changed them myself, having never worked on a vehicle, in 15 minutes by watching a YouTube video. No door panel had to be removed. But these people are trained, experienced, service professionals? I think not. PLEASE, IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A FUNCTIONAL VEHICLE....DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO TECH ONE AUTOMOTIVE!!!!!! Guess they'll need to update their response to my review now.

Came in same day because I had a rodent chew through some wires! I was sent over from Grease Monkey, after a quick diagnostic check and great service getting to Tech One. Special thanks to Vanessa for the ride to my interview and Trent and everyone that worked on my RAV4. Communication, service and repairs were great thank you everyone. Made this experience less stressful and everyone was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for car repairs to be done. I will be sending people your way. Thanks again!

Great experience w/ Tech One today. I appreciated the continuity of care that Trent provided - from answering my call to the repair shop yesterday, recognizing who I was and helping me through the paperwork when I entered the shop today, and then talking me through the diagnosis after inspection. Glad I found this gem of a shop!

The clutch went out on our 2013 Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium/DDC. After watching many YouTube videos; researching dealerships, and other options, I came across Tech One. Very exceptional web site, and easy to maneuver around. After much discussion about logistics, cost, and timing, we chose Tech One for the repairs. The most difficult, and traumatic part of the whole experience, was the towing; and damage to car by the tower, and driving in horrid rain to pick up the car! Oh, did I mention, we live in San Angelo; yeah! Not a jog down the street! Andrew, Luis, Austin, Daniel (?) and everyone there, was respectful, informative, and very professional. We've NEVER been treated so well, EVER!!! And they offer THE best warranty ANYWHERE!!! It was well worth the drive and stress, involved in that drive;ie, towing. Went in for an oil change and the process couldn't have been smoother! They have a longue for you to wait in, with snacks, wifi, and a working desk. The staff were friendly and prompt with the time estimate. Honestly one of the best experiences I have had at an Automotive shop.

I went here for an oil change, but a few days later, the access panel under my car dropped down in the middle of the highway because they hadn’t secured it properly. When I returned, they initially just screwed it back in place and told me it was fine. However, I noticed the panel was damaged, leaving parts of the underside exposed. When I pointed this out, they agreed to order a new panel. On my second visit, they replaced the panel, but the new one was made of flimsy plastic, much lower quality than the original compressed plastic. My previously perfect car went in for a routine oil change, and now I’m left with a cheap replacement panel that will likely break with the first bit of debris it encounters.

This is the only place I take my vehicle. They are kind, friendly, fast, and most importantly, they are HONEST! I have previously been in situations where I felt like I was being taken advantage of but there is a great level of comfort in my interactions with T1 because they always make sure I fully understand my ledger and never try to pressure me into anything. They’re also always really friendly to my puppy. 🥰 Thank you to Trent, Mr. Dave, Austin, Ross, and everyone else I have encountered over the past 2 years. I’ll recommend you!!

Besides being very competent and efficient, they were friendly and kind, driving my car back to my home, so I could turn around and drive the mechanic back and pay for the services at the same time. I understand that they are family run. It shows in the high quality personalized service.

I know auto shops can be hard to trust but was i surprised with how i was treated here. i worked with Austin who hooked me up with a good price for the work i needed. Im sure all the employees are great but if you are skeptical just ask for him. After they repaired my car something happened to my bumper while my car was in their possession. They handled it on them and i couldn’t be more happy with their service. will 100% be returning here for all future repairs

It's hard to find an honest mechanic but you don't have to worry about Tech One. I've been going there for years and have never been disappointed. They are not only competent but a friendly courteous group.

Same old story of mechanics trying to take advantage of whoever they think will let them get away with grossly overcharging. Came in to replace my drivers side door handle, and was quoted at over $300. $90 for the part (which cost me $10 on amazon) and $200+ for “an hour or more of labor.” I have next to no mechanical experience. But I went home and figured out how to do it myself. The research and the replacement took me all of 20 minutes.

Too many services done incorrectly on a catalytic converter. They will refund you if they mess up, but for me , there have been more screw-ups , then not. This place is a mixed bag; they say they have master techs but they could not figure out how to resolve the CAT emissions issue on my old Pilot. I dont trust them anymore. They do have a generous loaner policy and decent oil change rates.

Moved here three years ago and only had stellar experiences with the dealership that sold me my car brand new in 2019. Upon moving here, the Ford dealerships have been AWFUL to work with. After so many awful experiences, I decided to give a 3rd party a try. My boss recommended Tech One as he has had nothing but good experiences with them. I can say that I’m thrilled my boss recommended Tech One because my expectations were blown away. The Ford dealerships in Austin really lowered the bar of what to expect, but Tech One raised it back to where it was. They honored my 3rd party warranty (dealership sold warranty. Not CarShield) I got my car back exactly when they said I’d get it back, they Ubered me to and from work and to pick up my car. I will only be going to Tech One for as long as I live in Austin as long as this is the experience I continue to receive. My car is driving exactly like I’d did when I bought it brand new. Thanks Daniel and Tech One team!
