I will be bringing my vehicle to Everton for maintenance and all future mechanic needs. He helped me out by fitting me in the same day, stayed in communication, explained everything to me, and did it all for a reasonable price. I went from panic and a non working vehicle that morning to driving my car home that afternoon. Recommend him 100%.

Everton is exceptional! He explained exactly what was wrong with my vehicle in terms that I could understand & even showed me the part that he replaced after the repair was complete so that I could have a visual. He is very knowledgeable in his craft. My vehicle was repaired in a timely fashion. I’m so happy I went to the dread instead of taking my car to the dealer. Thank you for the excellent service!

My go to local auto shop. You can tell the owner really prides himself on providing great service with reasonable prices. He's very upfront about what needs to be done and what can wait and seems to really value the customers attitude towards the shop. Great place 👍

Go here if you’re in the market to get ripped off. Maybe it’s because I’m a woman but I paid for a diagnostic fee of $100 and he gave me an estimate of $1400 for front shocks and struts for a 08 Scion, JUST THE FRONT. I knew it was insane but he even proceeded to tell me just the back was over a $1000. I went somewhere else got my FRONT AND BACK all done for $800. Half of his estimate he marked up the parts from autozone! Lmfao He also said there were other issues but he didn’t include it on the estimate. What did I PAY. a diagnostics for I knew it needed struts? I wanted him to check everything else. No computer diagnostics, nothing. He even got an attitude when he sent me the price and I told him it was way more than expected. Called me hours later saying it would have been nice to know saying I wasted his whole day with my car on his lift. Get real? lol press the button and take it down when I told you the price was way higher you knew I wasn’t moving forward. My family is mechanics and I tried to give a small business some work but I learned my lesson. Edit: If someone pays you $100 they don’t want work done for free obviously. Get over yourself.

Everton was great. Our 2009 Jetta wagon broke down and he was accommodating and clearly explained what needed to be fixed or replaced. He kept me in constant communication. Dread Auto Repair saved the day!

Always reliable and honest service. He never tried to do work on your car then hit you with a super expensive bill. He tells you upfront the cost, what you need and what you can wait on. Also throws in tips most dealerships don’t bother to tell you. I’m a customer for life!!

Man this man is the truth. Honest and affordable and don’t try to take advantage of us women. Best deals in Jacksonville. Warranty on all his work that he honors. My car was ready when he said it would be ready and he even took time out of his day to come to my house and install my battery at no charge. I don’t know no mechanic who would do that after being at work all day. I’m glad I found him. My favorite mechanic!! Keep up the good work Dread!!!

“The Dread” is very knowledgeable, and honest. He keeps good records of services performed on your vehicle. Although you can not expect for quick services, appointments are needed, the services are worth the wait. I honestly must say “The Dread” services are Superior and second to none. He is an expert automotive technician on all makes and models of vehicles.

My car started overheating a few weeks ago so I took it to the dealership ,it was there for a week and they stated they couldn’t find anything wrong ,took it to the dread auto repair ,and he diagnosed and fixed it in a few hours !!!!great customer service ..highly recommended

The best in all of duval great prices excellent service I can't explain how many time Everton has come thru and saved my life. After YEARS of being ripped off by the service department at various car dealerships, I'm so glad to have "dread" as my mechanic! I was quoted thousands of dollars at Coggin Honda for more than a few "issues" with my car, to have dread tell me the entire estimate was false. I will continue getting my car routinely serviced here! It's the ONLY business I trust with my AND my business vehicles.

He replaced ABS, and sourced a used system, and saved me a ton of $$. Used Everton twice. First time for checkup and oil change. Great guy. Straight shooter. Polite. I'm new to the area and recommend him to anyone looking for a mechanic. Reasonable prices. He even gave me a ride!!!!!!!!!!! I know he can't always do it, but really great service. I trust him.

When your warranty has expired this is the shop to handle all your car needs. Prices are extremely good compared to those high dealership labor and diagnostic prices.
