I’ve been bringing my CLS63 to The Foreign Service since I bought the car two years ago, and I wouldn’t let anyone else touch it. They are so knowledgeable of Mercedes and they never cut corners. When I pick up my car from them, I always feel taken care of. Their prices are a lot better than the dealership too. These guys are the best at what they do and I can’t recommend them enough.

If you own a MB these are your people. First time using them and it was, well, flawless. Here are my thoughts and observations 1. Knowledgeable, friendly and they LIKE these cars ALOT. 2. Emailed me multiple times per day to keep me abreast of anything they saw that might warrant a conversation. 3. Fair. My first time away from the retail dealer even though I am at 80K miles. The cost of everything done was way below what I expected. 4. Timely. Did everything and then some in less time than promised, always answered the phone and were there even though I showed up prior to them being open. A great experience, truly!

I have been getting my Mercedes serviced here for several years. I have tried other area service shops but I have found Foreign Service to suit my needs more. Now owning and driving a Mercedes is a LUXURY which is a certain fact many lose sight of. That said you should never expect cheap parts or labor if you choose to drive these vehicles. I like the Foreign Service because they will inspect your vehicle and advise you on what is going on. The difference between them and the dealership is I believe the dealership is only focused on you paying outrageous costs for often unnecessary maintenance items. My word of advice is: If you 'choose' to drive a Mercedes than find yourself a specialist rather than deal with a dealership. '87 190...'00 300...'95 320...'12 250. Habe ich auch im Deutchland Gewohnt.

I was told they are not taking new customers. I have 1998 sl500, maybe his is not a good car to make money servicing it. The quick answer on the call thought.

Craig and the team over at The Foreign Service are excellent! I have a 22 year old Mercedes SL, and while I absolutely love the car, it developed some issues with the ADS suspension. The system is complex to say the least. Prior to my visit, I took the car to Mercedes and their diagnosis was just to throw expensive parts at it to see if it would solve the issue. They were wanting thousands of dollars with no real guarantee that the problem would be solved. I called the foreign service and Craig was able to get me an appointment quickly. I dropped the car off and just a few days later, all the issues were completely solved at a fantastic price. They used laptops and Mercedes software to diagnose and fix the issue directly. The car now performs flawlessly and I can get back to enjoying it. If you own a Mercedes, specifically one older than 15 years, it really is one of the best places to visit and get your problem solved.

I had asked for a quote over the phone and was told $250 when I got there the bill literally doubled being $500 without asking me. They did drop labor however all the parts are ridiculously overpriced as it was still around $360. They quoted me $800 for from braked on my car however after how unprofessional they where to begin I called the shop where I use to live and a different one here both quoted me around $620 with the same exact parts. These are scam artists if they give your a bill larger then expected don't stand for them trying to take advantage get other quotes and get them in writing!

This was my first time using this business and I am so thankful I found them; they performed service on my Mercedes-Benz ML350. They were knowledgeable, professional, friendly, honest and did not over charge. My car's performance was great after I picked it up and they washed and vacuumed my car. They offer loaner cars with no problems. This place is the best for your Mercedes Benz people.

I got my ml350 serviced here last year. Was happy with their work initially but had to take my car back to them after sometime due to a small issue(that I think was caused by them). On phone they agreed to help but when I reached the service center their response was like "we don't work on such things" (you got to be kidding me..who talks to customers like this? ), but finally they did the work as issue was small enough to be fixed quickly. They caused the damage to our relationship by saying that and lost all the good impression and trust they earned by servicing my vehicle initially. The engine/belt noise issue they fixed reappeared after sometime and I had to get that fixed in a different service center. Also they had suggested to get the engine mount replaced, but when I checked it with someone else, everything looked perfect with it and its still intact as I write this review.

I took my GLK350 here for a second opinion after taking it to the MB dealership in Durham, and I am so happy I found this independent shop, as they were able to holistically diagnose my car. They also gave me a loaner, which was helpful on a workday. The specialists are very personable and took the time to advise me on my situation. I would highly recommend to always get a second (or more) look for repairs! The Foreign Service gets the job done well.

Save your money, don’t get scammed. Buy your own part from Mercedes Benz and go to a dealership to get your car fixed. You’ll save about $500. They won’t even operate on your car if you buy your own MB part because they add like $200 to parts
