Called for a simple quote on replacing brake pads. Operator told me they don’t like to give quotes for this over the phone because of the many other parts that could need repair. Explained I only needed brake pads replaced not any repair to rotors or brake lines or anything else. Operator sighed and went silent and when I asked again if he was able to give a quote said “yea it doesn’t just magically appear on the screen” then finally asked what year make and model I had. Who cops an attitude with a customer because they know exactly what service they need and nothing more? I’m not taking my truck into some prick who doesn’t have very basic customer service skills.

***Caution; Called for quote on rear main crankshaft seal R&R and also two output shaft seals R&R. No return phone call 24 hours. I called back said they would call me in an hour. I’ve never used this place but it’s right by my house and thought it would be easier to drop it off and I don’t have to fix it, time wise just didn’t feel like dealing with it. After I was called back I was quoted 1950.00. At 149.00 hr, book calls for 8.5 hours or 5.3 warranty. I asked what they were flagging for the output shaft seals, they said 3.5 hours. The transmission is already out of the vehicle for the output shaft seals while proceeding to do work on the crankshaft seal. Book calls to add 0.2 hours for output shaft seals if the rear main seal is being done on my explorer. Should have been 8.7 total hours. Unfortunately there’s really no law that I know of double charging someone for the same work, so someone not mechanically able pretty much takes it twice in the shorts. What it comes down to is ethics. If they’re not being ethical on a quote, I don’t find they will be ethical on the repair or stand behind their work. An extra 500 dollars is a big deal in today’s economy and being a single parent. They probably wouldn’t use OEM parts either. So I’ve been slowly buying what I need and I’ll just do the job myself. 1950 is all new struts, seals, ball joints, tires and alignment. Plus take my kids to dinner and have a night on the town. The output shaft seals and rear main is 175 dollars from Ford OEM part. ****update; I did the work myself and fixed other issues along the way. New PTU seals, PTU fully serviced. New strut tower bracket, new coolant intake tube seals, new lower and upper intake seals, struts and shocks replaced, new HEGO oxygen sensor. Few other odds and ends. *another update; the owner made a snarky response to me however has since taken it down. I also posted a screenshot of someone else that they have tried to take advantage of that was posted on Nextdoor.

Have been going to the garage for about a year now for a few things here and there. They’ve done oil changes, brakes and alignment and recently a transmission replacement. I will be honest, are they a bit on the pricier side. Yes. Am I always satisfied with the work done. Yes. Do I feel safe every~time I drive my vehicle off the lot. Absolutely. There’s 3 service options when you go to automotive places but you can only get 2 Good and cheap won’t be fast Fast and good won’t be cheap Fast and cheap won’t be good

I had used The Garage in the past so went back to them for work on my vehicle. Work not completed in time frame they said. They had my truck for 3 days the first time and then another 6 days. Had to take my truck back twice after work was done. All they could say was I understand your frustration but made no effort to make things right. Said the part they had installed was outdated and didn't realize it till they checked it again. Both the technician and manager on 2 occasions said you can take your truck and go somewhere else. The manager then came out to talk to me and said I wouldn't be dealing with the counter technician yet he had the same attitude as his tech. Again no offer to have a satisfied customer. I spent $2958 and can only hope that the work and parts are correct. We trust that when we use professional services that we are treated honestly and fairly. I definitely did not feel that as I had to return twice to resolve work and get right parts installed. Shame Shame on The Garage and their employees. I was into them for nearly $3000 and felt i didn't have a choice but to let them finish. I'm sure if I would have left they wouldn't honor the parts and labor if it still had issues.

There was a Korean repair shop, so I ran there with a happy heart. I did as I was told and got the oil changed and paid. The office was dark so I couldn't check the receipt. When I came out later and checked, $152.73 was taken from my card. I called and asked a Korean, and they said that's their normal cost. I asked many oil change shops in the neighborhood, and they said it was around $40-$70. I feel like I was scammed by a Korean.

Your guess is as good and I’m sure better than theirs.so save yourself money.and take it to blue castle . I’d rather drive across town and have them look at the car the same day then to play around with these people.They miss diagnosed my car three times selling me expensive parts that did nothing to fix a simple check engine code . They would clear the code and I would drive a day and it pop back up .

I was traveling through Albuquerque and the name alone caught my attention. Seen the reviews and positive rants as well as the awards the facility has received. Everyone was friendly and positive, the service was VERY reasonably priced which was completed swiftly. They even fed me upon dropping off the vehicle!!! I definitely recommend this establishment. The best part is, no “extra” work was done without prior approval.

Never again ! They had my car for six days, after I drove it for one day, same thing again engine light came back on .I called they told me oh ! I have to make another appointment for them to look at it! Not very accommodating. A job that would take few hours,really!

We were traveling through a few states, and our car broke down outside of town. The Garage quickly got the alternator replaced and made sure everything else was good to go. Their customer service was also outstanding! Highly recommend The Garage to anyone!

Called the garage for service to my Cadillac. Within 48 hours they picked up by tow, diagnosed the problem, fixed the issue and I asked to look at something that wasn’t necessarily needed. They responded, fixed and had my vehicle ready with all repairs done within 48 hours of my request. Thank you Garage and thank you William for keeping me updated throughout the process!

I have been bringing my aged Dodge to The Garage for the past few oil changes and general maintenance. They have been very professional in their service and very descriptive in the reasons for what additional maintenance that may need to be done to make sure my vehicle is running at it's best. Best repair shop in the state, in my opinion.

The crew at the garage gave me, an out of work, disabled person, SEVERAL options to get my truck fixed. They were able to work with different angles and costs as I live on a fixed income. The communication and customer service were superior. I shopped around b4 I chose The Garage. They have my business with my vehicles from now on!

We have taken two trucks here. We had appointments each time. They kept one truck over night for an oil change despite getting the truck there before 8:30am . We took the other truck for a review, and that went fine. When the first truck went back for a brake job, once again, they had to keep it overnight, they had to reorder parts, and when we picked the truck up, there was a note about a "death wobble", noone spoke to us about this note at all. I had to call and ask. Find somewhere you trust.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I have gone here a few times the last couple of years and the service was great. I don't know if there is new management or new employees but now the customer service is TERRIBLE. I took my car in at the end of June because my check engine light was on, my car was smoking white smoke and the bottom plastic under my car was dragging. They told me my mass airflow sensor needed to be replaced and they flushed my system and everything was "good". I paid $850 (which I think is way over-priced) but was happy it was fixed. They however, did not bother to fix my dragging plastic like I asked them. I guess $850 dollars is not enough to add a screw into the bottom of a car. They told me if anything was giving me problems to bring the car in and they'd fix it. Now it is the beginning of August and yet again, my car is smoking and the check engine light is on. I brought it in again and was clesrly not happy that they said they fixed it and it wasn't, especially after paying almost $1000. I drop it off Thursday morning at 8:30am because they said they were pretty busy and they are closed Sat. and Sun. but if I brought it in early enough they could run a quick diagnostic and have time to fix it. I waited all Thursday and until 2:30pm on Friday which is when I called them and the guy I spoke to said "There are still a lot of hours in the day for us to run the diagnostic so just give us some time." It is now 7:30pm on Friday (they closed at 6pm) and I did not recieve a call as to what the diagnostic was because they still haven't even performed it. Why was my car there for 2 whole days and they could not run a 5 minute diagnostic!? Now I have to get an Uber there Monday morning and get my car without anything having been done on it so I can take my kid to school. How frustrating that I have been a loyal customer for years and this is how they treat me? By jerking me around like I'm a moron. I am never recommending them to anyone ever again. Horrible customer service and rude employees. FYI, I took my car to Autozone in June before The Garage and they ran a FREE diagnostic and it came up with the same issue that The Garage then said it had after they had badmouthed Autozone and said "Oh their machines don't show the right codes and they don't really work or tell you the right issues." Reaaaaaalllly? Interesting that they found the exact same issue. I am going to Midas to get my car fixed from now on. They have great customer service and don't swindle you on prices. I should have gone there but The Garage was much closer to my house. I learned the hard way I guess.

My 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe quit running while backing up tried to restart it but would not start. I noticed my daughter left it on empty so I added gas but still would not start, next morning I towed it to The Garage and spoke to William the service writer he went out to try a few things to try and get it started but would not start , so he said if I left it it may take up to 2 weeks for diagnosis and repairs as they were super busy but I left and graciously asked to do the best they could to get it sooner if they could . About 2 hours later, I get a call from Johnathan informing me that they had already completed a diagnosis and that the fuel pump had gone bad so he gave me the price to repair it and a gave him the ok to proceed and he informed me that it would be either Thursday or Friday for completion of the repairs this was Tuesday 8-6-24 , so I was grateful and thanked him for the rush on my repairs . The next day, 8-7-24, I get a courtesy call from Johnathan it was about 1:30 pm I start thinking oh no they found more problems but he says no your Santa Fe is done , I was surprised in a little over 24 hrs my vehicle went from dead in the water to it running again , how is that for fantastic customer service and the cost was the exact amount that was quoted, you can't get better than that and I am so grateful. A shout out to William , Johnathan and The Garage mechanic that did the repairs on my Santa Fe. I whole heartedly recommend Tha Garage for you next maintenance or repairs on you vehicle !

They did a diagnostic on my father’s 2000 Jaguar and they were honest and very fair with the price of towing and cost. Took my older Volkswagen to The Garage after stopping by to talk with William about axle and brake work. They were very accommodating to my needs and the vehicle was done on time. UNFORTUNATELY, upon picking up my car, the piece of door trim on the drivers door was missing and the AC was no longer working. The AC compressor was left unplugged after the service, and I was basically told "I'm sorry if your car falls apart on the test drive after repairs," regarding the door trim. On top of that, not even a couple hundred miles later, there is a loud humming noise from the front wheels and eventually the smell of heating metal. When another reputable shop looked at my front wheels, the master technician was very confident that the front axle nuts had been over torqued and damaged the wheel bearings and hubs as the front wheels (where The Garage replaced my axles) were wobbly on both sides. When I called to talk with William about it, he just claimed that my car being older had bad bearings and hubs when I brought it to him, although it had none of those issues before and although they didn't notice or offer to replace them when they were working on my vehicle previously or doing the post-service test drive. That said, I feel The Garage tries to be accommodating and honest but when there is an issue, they just sweep it under the rug or will deny any responsibility. I won't be taking any of my other vehicles to them or recommending them to anyone that I know. -B.

Although they're really nice folks I had a less than satisfactory experience. They had two cracks at fixing my CV joint but in the end I had to take it somewhere else to get fixed. I'm out the $650 I spent here.
