Mauricio is sexist & does not take women seriously. Do not go here as a woman. He quoted me & my jeep then told me to come back four days later so he could order the parts & leave my car for the weekend to be worked on. Four days later I went to drop the car off & he had no idea who I was or what the issue was even though we had just confirmed two days prior on the phone. He told me to come back on Monday & he promised to have the parts. He had me text him a photo of the agreed work he was going to do along with my name before I even left the lot. I came back Monday, again ready to drop my car off when he looks surprised yet again. Says I never texted him which is why he didn't order the parts. When I showed him that we texted his phone together, he claimed he gets 30 calls & texts a day and would never remember that. Upset I asked him why he has now had me come in twice, brought friends to give me a ride home and still he can't get it together. He told me to just " go to a dealership then sweetie".

Mauricio is fantastic. Excellent mechanic, great to work withand his prices are very fair. He got my 87 Cherokee running like a top and figured out problems two other mechanics couldnt fix. Highly recommend

I came across the Jeep Doctor while searching on Google for someone to repair the horn of my Jeep Wrangler. I reached out to Marisio, who kindly informed me that the inspection would be complimentary. However, when we discussed the cost of fixing the horn, he initially quoted me $450. After my husband had a conversation with him, he eventually lowered the price to $300. It appears that he may have sought to take advantage of the situation based on my gender.

I went to The Jeep Doctor because my 2105 Jeep wrangler was over heating & I didn’t know why. I’m so glad I did! Mauricio was honest, knowledgeable, kind & fair. Everything you could want your mechanic to be. He quickly discovered the issue & had me back on the road in no time. I’ll be using him for all my future Jeep needs. Thank you Mauricio!

What a good man. My sister seized her engine, and he brought her Jeep back to life. There were a couple problems after getting back the first time but it was a prior issue with old wiring from it being an old Jeep. I searched for someone who specializes in jeeps and saw all of these reviews, if you are on the fence, I hope you are reading this because this guy is the the one you are looking for your Jeep. His prices are fair and not outrageous. His communication is a 10/10 always kept us updated on its progress. I really feel he went above and beyond for my family. Thank you!!

Mauricio is a honest guy straight forward with his knowledge of Jeeps and pricing wether they are new or old. Took my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with no crank no start issues. Took in my Jeep the following day and he had it running at the end of the day. Took it back sometime later to replace my radiator and AC condenser and to recharge my AC Had it all done in a couple of hours. If you guys want reliable service to your Jeeps bring it to him he has years of experience with Jeeps and knows his stuff

Mauricio is still one of the few Trustworthy mechanics out there...... If you have a Jeep don't take it anywhere . I had to learn the hard way paying overprice mechanics. A Jeep is not a regular car If you know you know!

Bad Experience and I will never come back. The first time I called him, he sold himself as super knowledgable. However, I had many disappointments along the way with Mauricio, I am sorry but it's the honest truth. - I asked him to do a throughout review of my "new" old 1998 Cherokee XJ. I asked him to review the parts that were installed previously as I did not feel comfortable with some noises. He promised he was going to lift the car and inspect it in front of me and gave me recommendations. My surprise was that when I went there, he just took a quick look to the underneath of the car without lifting it or anything. Yes, we did a test drive, but he did not give me any advise whatsoever. - He just suggested to replace the u-joint and ball joints and the upper control arms. He then said I could install just the OEM upper control arm and that should be OK. My surprise was that when I took the parts to him, he said "Why didn't you buy a better brand/ part for the upper control arm"? He showed me that day a stronger upper control arm he would suggest to buy. However, that was too late since I already bought the part. I literally ASKED him not to install the OEM part I had bought, because I wanted to actually return it and buy the good one. To my surprise, he ignored me and installed the part, regardless of what I asked him, and regardless of him knowing he had just suggested me to buy a better one. Waste of my money and his time. If that is not enough, he then used the old bushing instead of proactively replacing them with new ones. What disappointing mechanic !!! - Drum Brakes were installed completely wrong. I had bought online a full set of new shoes and drum brakes. Since the first day, the car shakes a lot on highway. I had to take the car to another professional just to find out that parts were not properly installed and adjusted wrong. Ultimately, the other mechanic told me that the drum brakes were defective too, so it's not all on Mauricio. However, I was surprised when I asked him whether he had test drive the car after so many parts were installed and to my surprise he said he didn't test drive the car. What ? So you install new gear box, u joint, ball joints, upper control arms, new brakes all around, and you don't think it's necessary to test drive the car? - I asked him to install a Rough Country quick disconnect sway bar. He didn't use all bolts and nuts and to my surprise, the bolts were not fasten properly. I actually could re-tighten them with my hands after a few miles driving. Incredible. He was just complaining that he had never seen that kind of quick disconnect. Well, to whoever reads this feedback, judge yourself if a Rough Country quick disconnect is a brand/ part unusual to see nowadays. I am sure he has a lot of experience, but overall, I did not get the value I hoped. He won't listen to you, and just do whatever he wants. I tried to save some dollars with him, because honestly, that's his selling point, how cheap he is. However, you don't want to be too cheap with a car that you want to use for off road. I won't come back. Thanks

Mauricio is the best Jeep mechanic in all of LA! Very honest, I have taken my Jeeps to him many times for all kinds of work. Rebuild my diffs, window motors, trailer wiring, hubs, wheel bearings, and diagnostics. He will get you back on the road in no time. He also install parts if you bring them.
