My visit on 11/15 with a Focus ST for oil/filter, 100k mile coolant flush/replace and brake fluid flush/replace was my first time bringing a vehicle to Thunderbird. A thorough and appreciated inspection of the vehicle by Thunderbird’s mechanic found a fuel leak that I never would have discovered. Jorden provided a fair estimate for the repair and we went ahead with the work and the car was back to me the same day as promised. A week later, after filling the vehicle full with gas, I discovered excessive fuel leaking from under the car. Returned to Thunderbird frustrated and concerned the leak was not repaired. Jorden and staff assured me they were just as concerned about my worries and safety, provided me with sincere apologies for the return visit, and went right to work on determining what happened. After discovering the true source for the leak, Thunderbird credited me the full amount of the previous parts and labor and went above and beyond my expectations in resolving the situation! I commend Jorden for keeping me informed every step of the way, and the rest of the crew for delivering an exceptional experience. I will be back!

went in with coupon for oil change. they were great! they also checked my vehicle and gave me updates on other things i needed done but didn’t push me on it like a salesperson would. i’ll totally go back!

Great place if you need work or even an oil change take here they are cheaper than others I know I took my car a couple of places and they are 200 minimum lower than there competitors they have financing if u qualify but they are very help full

I have a 2002 Chevy Blazer they recently repaired. Seems I had been driving on switched distributor wires to plugs 1 & 3. Eventually burned out the distributor cap & rotor, causing the engine to cease. Note: I have had this car in various mechanics hands and not a one saw this. I am giving these guys 5 stars. They deserve it.

I took my Toyota 4Runner in for a alignment, the steering pull to the left and wearing the tires they did a fantastic job, centered the steering wheel, no pulling to the left and it’s been several months now and my new front tires show no wear extremely happy and will always use And recommend Thunderbird Automotive for all my auto repair jobs

This place is awesome; Great staff, understanding of my personal situation, & easy to work with, also great communication & they keep you well updated. I’ve had a few frustrating, & unfortunate experiences with previous shops & mechanics; I gave Thunderbird Automotive a try, they had found issues that went undetected on previous shops’ radars. Aside from the countless amount of 5 stars reviews , I also noticed that this place has been in business since the ‘70s. With the quality service & satisfactory experience I had here, they seem to be the last of a dying breed. This was my first time taking my car for repairs, & very much more than look forward to my future appointments here, as this is my new go-to spot for auto repairs. Thanks! -J

Had a very complicated and tricky issue with a kia hybrid. Ended up saving me ~$7,000 compared to a nearby dealer. The dealer quoted me a complete transmission swap, which I felt was unnecessary and they agreed. The time and effort they put into getting it done and done properly is wildly appreciated. Been running strong since!

I decided to look for local reputable Auto Repair Shop close by and was inclined to try TAS based on recent reviews for my Vehicles future maintenance. I took my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a scheduled oil change. I was greeted quickly by Austin and everything was explained clearly. Very friendly. Decided to wait since the wait time wasn’t long. I had my toddler with me to keep me company. So let’s just say it went by fast (he’s handful lol). I had a great first experience so I decided to schedule my 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 for an oil change as well. The day of the appointment I had a mix up on my calendar and called the shop to see if I could take it the day, I thought I had scheduled. I spoke with Brock and he was able to accommodate me. I took my truck in and was greeted again by Austin & Taylor. I also had a brief conversation with one of the Techs, nice guy didn’t catch his name. I couldn’t wait this time around, due to the wait. Since I was going in for an oil change that wasn’t an appointment, so I went home and once it was ready Taylor gave me a call. Went to pick up my Vehicle once again, was provided a breakdown of the invoice and headed home. I want to thank Austin, Taylor, the Tech I spoke with briefly AND also the Techs who worked on both my Vehicles. Excellent customer service. Professional and Pleasant. I will be taking my Vehicles to this shop for any future maintenance and repairs. Highly recommend! Thanks again guys.

I had an Oil Change, Oil Filter, Engine Air Filter and Cabin Air Filters done on my 2020 Honda Civic Hatchback. TAS is always Professional and explain things clearly and get you in and out as fast as possible. They even made me aware one of my tires, a local Tire Shop mounted was rotating in the wrong direction, which I was not aware of! Emily Lopez in the front office was awesome and I thank Technician Glenn McQuiston for working on my car and catching the tire issue. As well as performing the work on my wife's car. I have brought my other Vehicles in the past as well which were a 2017 Dodge Ram and 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and experienced great work as well. Thank you again Emily and John for your hard work and dedication to customer service and trusted work. I have been looking for a good mechanic shop, I got tired of the dealership shenanigans, called a few, then talked to a few people that had work done there, they had no complaints, Jacob the service Rep is fantastic to deal with and the work that Thunderbird Automotive did was exceptional, they will be servicing all of my vehicles.

The people here are knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. They performed all needed services as promised. They beat the dealership's price for the hybrid battery replacement, getting original equipment, not a refurbished battery. I have used Thunderbird Automotive for about 7 or 8 years now, and have always been satisfied with their service.

Have taken 2 vehicles here for a myriad of issues ranging from a broken a/c, brake line replacement and an oil change- every service has been a great experience. They have a fair prices, quick turnaround times and outstanding workmanship. They even got me an Uber home when I didn't have a ride and was planning to walk. Highly highly recommend!

I’ve been bringing my cars here for a few years now. I’ve never had anything short of an amazing experience. They are trustworthy beyond belief, everything is transparent, and the staff is friendly and professional at the highest levels. If you drive past this shop, their lot is always packed to the brim with cars, and for good reason. If you need a trustworthy mechanic who does excellent work, you can absolutely not go wrong with Thunderbird Automotive.

Terrible experience. Had a flat repaired on my 91 Suburban. They failed to tighten the lugs and the wheel came off and sheered some of the studs, damaged the custom wheel etc.. and their response was basically "Oh well, sucks for you" would not trust them to add wiper fluid correctly.

Initially I tried going to a different local shop that was rated very highly on Google, but they referred me to Thunderbird Automotive Specialists, saying that Thunderbird was better for an older (mid-90s) truck like mine. I was impressed with everything about Thunderbird: They got me in within a few days of my initial phone call; their team is friendly, knowledgeable, and motivated; they explained their plan and diagnostic cost clearly in advance; kept me in the loop on their diagnostic findings; called me for authorization before beginning repairs; and they even ordered and paid for an Über for me since I lived just a few miles away. I will definitely trust them with repairs in the future.

My experience here from the first phone call to picking up my car after the repairs were done was excellent. After being let down by my previous mechanic, I decided to give a Thunderbird automotive a try after several in-person and online recommendations. I really appreciate that they take pictures and send you a report. Their prices are competitive with other mechanics in the area. Would recommend to a friend, will return when needed. Thanks!
