Great service and really helpful! I had done my own oil change at home, but I was unable to swap my oil filter due to not having the correct tool. They swapped it for me with no problem and were very friendly about it.

bad customer service, they don’t tell you information you need to know before you leave, and when they make a mistake they don’t take accountability for it.

I stopped by for an oil change and vehicle inspection today. The oil change was done by woman, which I love. They are very knowledgeable and efficient, I'll say. The inspection was done and I was told my brakes were at 1-2mm and my brake fluid was low. They explained to me what I needed in order to pass inspection. I did have my rear brakes done and they even showed me my old brake pads, which were bad, no pad left. I can not thank these ladies enough for taking excellent care of my vehicle and getting me on the road quickly. My husband was very impressed with their work. Thanks again, you have gained a new customer!

What a SHAME. I loved bringing my vehicles here for the convenience of location. They must have changed management since the last time I came here. Brought my vehicle in for a simple annual inspection. I didnt recognize anyone this time but they where very nice and seemed informative and professional. They told me that they could not pass me because I had a headlight out and because my BRAKES needed to be replaced. Now, I'm not mechanically inclined so I took them at their word since they seemed pretty concerned. I told the 2 females that I would come back after I ordered the parts. Couple days later I saw on our neighborhood fb group a very similar experience of "needing brakes replaced". After conversing with my neighbor I decided to bring my car to Valvoline Instant Oil Change for a 2nd opinion. I was shocked! I was in and out in about 20min, NO ISSUES or PROBLEMS. UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE AT Valvoline Instant Oil Change. I will NEVER go back to Timberwood Lube until they change management again. The worst part is these employees seemed so kind, helpful and concerned. Bunch of snakes who should be ashamed.

Turned away because we needed the front license plate for the inspection, which has never been a problem elsewhere. Upon researching with the DPS online after, we found that it is not required for inspection.

Just went for an inspection at 4:20 and was told the inspection guy was at lunch! Can two people be trained to do inspections? Not sure about driving over there for oil change now in case the oil change guys are at lunch…sorry. Have been going to your business for all my car services but have to look for an alternate place…

Wife went there to get her inspection done, and they told her the rear windows were a shade darker than allowed. I’ve been going there for years and no such mention of that and always passed. Never going back to that place to waste our time. Went to Jiffy Lube and got it done with no issues. In response to the owner. Not sure why you mentioned my truck because my truck is within standards. It was my wife that brought her car in so whatever information you used was incorrect. Just saying with no issues with any of our vehicles ever your establishment decided to give a hard time for no reason. If you look up my name you can clearly see I have passed all my inspections with your establishment in the past. I see from other recent reviews that this place is having some sort of inspection issues by not passing people for ridiculous reasons. Someone is obviously reading reviews if they reply so if you see multiple people having issues with inspections it’s probably the business and employees.

This used to be "the" place to go to get a vehicle state inspection. The new manager and very young staff are extremely unprofessional, rude, all they want is to make a sale. I took my 3 vehicles there for years until about a year ago when I decided to take my business elsewhere. I do not recommend this place at all.

Update: 4/1/20/24 Don't waste your time stopping in for a car inspection. I'm not sure what's going on with their inspections but my husband and I took our vehicles in for inspection at different times, 2 weeks apart and were told they couldn't do an inspection on our vehicles because we have gas caps. We each took our vehicle to a different place for inspection and neither place checked our gas caps and we have never had them checked in the past. Annoying that Timberwood Lube advertises they do inspection that they even have the bay open if they aren't going to do inspections. Who doesn't have a gas cap? In the history of car inspections, we've never had our gas caps checked. Great service!

Mason and Lexi are awesome! Greeted as soon as I got there. Other employees made sure I was checked in. Waiting maybe 2 minutes for service and actual service time was about 10 minutes including oil cleaning. Thorough job and really friendly. Love this place.

I drove from Florida to San Antonio. Texas to visit my sister for holidays. After my arrival Oil fumes were present. I was driving past Timberwood Lube, on Blanco The receptionist responded courteously and asked the lube specialist to check car. They were 3 mechanics came to see, and diagnose possible causes and recommendations for repairs in short wait. I was obviously concerned about the potential cost of service! Guess what ? Free…. Amazing.! I recommend this trustworthy place of business The website and Google reviews are on point.

Wow, my suv had 55,000 miles and brakes chirped each morning. I took it into Timberwood lube. I was prepared to pay for both pares of brakes. To my complete surprise Timberwood said my brakes are in great shape and should last another 15,000 miles. Wow who ever heard of such an honest assessment. I will be back for everything they have to offer, oil changes, brakes, inspections. Who ever heard or experienced and honest garage!!

Here is my objective review. Service and timliness is great. They are efficient and you don't have to worry about them cutting corners. I have confidence that they are performing a quality job. However, here is the downside. The pricing is NOT reasonable and they quote you a baseline price not including any extra quarts of oil. Long story short, I was charged $140 for a full synthetic oil change on a 2021 yukon. I called GUNN GMC and their price for a full synthetic oil change was $79.99 (including 8 quarts). Initially i was quoted $99...however that's for 5 quarts, they basically charged me another $40 for the extra 3 quarts of oil my yukon required. I looked up the pricing of the exact mobil 1 oil they used and autozone had it for $8 a quart...that's $64 plus say another $10 for a filter. That's $74 for supplies...and i know they get the supplies cheaper than that since they buy in bulk. So i have no clue how they can arrive at a price point of $140. In summary, good service with unreasonable pricing.

Place is fantastic! Gone for multitude of things from starter, oil changes shoot they even do breaks! Very professional & not looking to nickel and dime you as they are reasonably priced! Ben helped me out most recent and dude was a rockstar diagnosing my starter/battery situation! Thankful to have a trust worthy machanic just down street!

The crew here are always chill and work efficiently. Drove right into the bay and got my oil changed and inspection done in less than 30min. They even filled up my windshield washer reservoir.

Turned away when attempting 3 safety inspections with 2 fake excuses and finally the real reason of “the shop/owner makes more from a brake job”. Will research with the state if declining safety inspections is legal practice.

we really hoped that we could suggest this place to neighbors and give them more business but NEVER will you hear us recommend timberwood lube. even after they tried scamming us out of hundreds last time, we tried to give it another shot by going in for an inspection. we were made aware that one of the windshield wipers needed replacement and that they would see if they had a correct one. they then replaced both wipers without saying anything and tacked $48 extra dollars onto what should’ve been my $7 bill. DONT MESS WITH SOMEONES VEHICLE WITHOUT A CONSULTATION. beware parts are DOUBLE the price here.

Always fast, efficient service and a friendly staff. This has become our go to for inspections and oil changes and other maintenance services. For me, it is worth driving a few extra few miles to experience the short wait times and great service.
