I love this shop! I can’t say enough good about Tim, Pat, and the mechanics! I came to Tim’s German Auto after talking to Pat on the phone and loved how she took her time with me and listened to my auto needs. I was able to wait while they diagnosed my car versus some of the dealerships saying it would be 24-48 hours before a diagnosis. 😏They were honest because they told me I didn’t need a service that another shop had tried to upsell me on. 🙏🏼These are good, honest folks that you can trust and people like them are hard to find these days. I’ll be taking my VW to them from here on out! Thanks again,Tim, Pat, and the team of mechanics at Tim’s German Auto! 😊

I recently took my 2015 Mercedes-Benz C300 to Tim's German Auto because of a check engine light and a squeaking noise over bumps. I was quoted nearly $5,000 in labor alone, excluding the cost of parts. Seeking a second opinion, I took my vehicle to the dealership, where the issue was resolved for $2,000. I cannot recommend this repair shop due to its overpricing.

Tim and team are helpful, faithful and honest. Its hard to find a service center with one of those characteristics, let alone all 3. I'm constantly grateful for the work they do and my family wouldn't take our VW’s anywhere else. I think the best way to discern the honesty of a car repair/service center is when you bring it in with a question and they tell you that the repair you thought you needed isn't necessary. I can always trust that Tim and team will keep my car safe, running and never charge me for something that isn't necessary. Check them out!

Tim's has done excellent work on my 2013 Jetta for a reasonable fee over the last 3 years. Also, they have been very pleasant. Last time I was there early morning and got surprise breakfast tacos. Time before that I got a free t-shirt. These folks are cool, they do good work, and you should bring your VW here instead of the dealership. I've read some negative reviews for Tim's. Thing is, the whole transaction works better when the owner takes responsibility for their vehicle. Just like on the road, you are in control. These are German cars, not Japanese. They'll run for a long time if AND ONLY IF you follow the maintenance schedule. Bring your car to Tim's for that and don't let them talk you into a new clutch. Tim, you must be patient. That money job will come in the fullness of time.

Pat and Tim are national treasures!! Have been coming here for years and they always take the time to get all my issues and concerns addressed. Their mechanics are very knowledgeable and know what to look out for down the road also. Always greeted with a smile and friendly faces every time I come in. There's a reason they've been in business this long and it shows! Thank you Tim's German Auto!

Read the reviews and was looking forward to working with them. Was quoted 2k for spark plugs on my BMW 4 1/2 hours labor?? The lady upfront obviously works on commission. When I picked up the car she gave herself an out by asking if I wanted to speak to the mechanic, which I’m certain would’ve gave me a better price on such a simple job. Got the work done elsewhere for less than half their cost. Make sure you get a second or third opinion before using them.

For 3 weeks, I called trying to find out the status of my car. They would never return my calls or give me an update. Finally, they called me to let me know that they weren't interested in doing the job and told me to come and pick up the car. This was told to me as they were closing for a 3 day weekend. I was forced to wait 3 more days before I was allowed to pick my still broken car. This is the most unprofessional service I've ever experienced. Highly disappointed. 😞

I came in with a mysterious check engine light on and Tim ran some tests on my car, found the issue and had me out the door quickly. I came in from Austin to visit my family and was very impressed by the speed. The staff was very friendly and helpful also! I would recommend this place to anyone I know with a German car needing work. Very pleased!

I had my BMW towed here after it would not start, Tims german looked at it pretty quickly and give me a quote over 5 k i was like what. After thinking about it a day i then paid another tow had it taken to the dealership and they said all i needed was a connector and they had me out of there for under eight hundred dollars NOT COOL

I was very happy with the service. Our car is a 2006 VW New Beetle. We came in with an engine light that two other shops could not or would not fix. One of the shops gave a huge estimate and then said they didn't have the parts..Tim's not only fully repaired the Bug, but did it for half the estimate of the other shop. They were very friendly and professional. I highly recommend and will definitely be using them in the future.

If I could, I’d leave zero stars. I brought my car in RIGHT AT OPEN knowing what was wrong with my car. I told them I needed an oil plug extraction/and or an oil pan replacement. I even gave them a piece of paper with CLEAR instructions. No where on on that piece of paper did it mention anything other than the extraction and oil pan. They never got back to me ONCE for a quote, I called FIVE TIMES, finally pulled up to the location AT CLOSE and they were extremely rude and hostile when I asked for my car back. Then told me when I tried to get it back that “we aren’t settled” bc they replaced my brake lights and I “asked them to”. No I didn’t, you just lost a sale, saw the break lights I bought myself and planned on replacing myself in my front seat, and wanted to charge me for something. Then proceeded to cuss me out and throw the dirty lights back into my front seat and slam my door shut. They 1000% were trying to take advantage of a young girl, luckily I wasn’t born yesterday. Take your money ANYWHERE ELSE.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS BUSINESS. PAT THOMAS THE "OWNER" IS SO RUDE SHE SHOULDN'T EVEN BE ABLE TO MANAGE ANYTHING MORE LESS AN AUTOMOTIVE SHOP. OUR MECHANIC TOWED IN A VEHICLE AT 4PM AND SHE SAID THAT WAS SO DISRESPECTUFL TO THEIR BUSINESS. I'VE NEVER MET SOMEONE SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. STAY AWAY. BAD PEOPLE. BAD BUSINESS. BE AWARE. THE FIRST TIME I CALLED IN SHE HUNG UP ON ME, I CALLED BACK AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE PAT WAS SO RUDE AND UNWILLING TO ME. THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK SAID TIM WOULD GIVE ME A CALL BACK. PAT CALLED ME BACK STRAIGHT AWAY AND SAID HOW DARE I CALL AND SAY SHE WAS RUDE & THAT SHE HADN'T EVEN SHOWN ME RUDE YET. I brought my car in after going to the autobahn in hopes of getting a cheaper estimate on a coolant leak. I dropped it off on a Thursday and it wasn’t seen until the next Thursday. They told me the issue was too difficult for them to fix and charged me $200. I was unaware of a fee when dropping my car off. When I asked about it they were rude and very vague about what they did for that price. They took advantage of a young girl in a desperate situation. Would not recommend this place as they basically charge for walking in the building.

I paid almost $3k and my car was still not working; they swore that the car was not acting that way whenever they got it when it was like that since they beginning (for keeping it for almost 3 weeks I think that’s crazy)In the quote I received it never said the car would not end up working it just said that the car could possibly still go in limp mode which doesn’t mean the car wasn’t going to start at all. They were surprised it didn’t and still didn’t do anything about it.

Quick, accurate, & mostly painless. These guys know European cars! European cars tend to have more expensive parts & labor costs than Asian & domestic cars, so that's not their fault. I have a car lift at home, but certain things are better left to the professionals! Friendly, home-like atmosphere. No stuffy attitudes. If you're looking to get spoiled with fancy beverages & lied to, go to the dealers in the surrounding area.

tims german auto employees were very friendly and nice. however the quote I was given was filled with maybe and what ifs..an radiator hose that was 15 yrs old failed... they quoted replacing both hoses ( acceptable)..water pump (less than 1 yr old), thermostat ( less than 1 yr old), expansion tank, sensors etc...1300.00 worth of work...I accepted hoses and sensor, they still charged me 500+ dollars! I can't recommend them...😒
