Used to do work for good prices and no upsell. I took my car in for an oil change. It took >1 day even though I had an appointment. Went to get it off the lot and noted the brake sensor going off; I was scheduled for a long trip that day so it was a bummer to immediately turn around and find other transportation. It was noted on the check they do for an oil change that my brakes were fine. Brought it back to see what caused the new warning light. They replaced the front brakes with the “high end” brakes that “belong” on my car without approval or a call of what was wrong before doing the work; the first call I got was the total I supposedly owed after doing the work without permission. They gave me a laughable “discount” and when I asked for an itemized receipt of the brand and types of brakes used since these were “high end” I got a less than detailed invoice and annoyance from the manager. Took it off the lot and the brakes were squeaking and I was getting a clicking noise and within a week or so I had warning lights on the dash (not for brakes). Mike listened over the phone at least. I brought it back, got a call much later than expected that now the rear brakes need replacement. So this car went through three brake inspections in the span of <1 month and each resulted in new findings…. Oh and the engine light just wasn’t on anymore with no explanation. Don’t go here. Used to be 4-5 stars before management change.

Dropped my car off at 3pm, let them know in advance we used “slime” to get my car home (literally says on the bottle can be used WITH tire patches) was told it would take 3 hours. called them around 6 to ask if everything was okay and was told “sorry we cannot fix your tire since you used fix-a-flat” drove to my car IMMEDIATELY and noticed it had not even been moved or even looked at. I was then quoted $140.00 for a single tire when you’re never supposed to replace just 1 you always need 2 especially the back ones. Frustrated after the employee speaking Russian told me there is nothing we can do and even mentioned it needs to be done asap or my tire sensor will get ruined (again on the Slim bottle it says it will not damage sensors) feeling totally beside myself I called another local shop and they told me to bring it on by, I was out in under an hour and was good to go with a patch. I would not waste your hard earned dollars at this location, they do not care about your time or money. I drove here since I bought all four of my tires at this location because it’s local, but I’ll be driving out to another location that’s 40 minutes away from now on to save myself the time and energy this shop likes to waste. What a shame.

I keep getting low air pressure warning,so I did take care of it. And it's good for a couple days and the warning light back on again, so after third time!! I gave up. Take my car to Tire Choice and mechanic take a look and fix the tire " nail in it" The reason that I give Tire Choice 5 stars is because the honestly of them. Because I asked "do I need to get a new tire and the manager explained to me that tire is fixable,no need to replace them and no charge for services!! So, I am a Tire Choice customer for life !!

Terrible experience, more than 3 hours for an oil change, the person who works in customer service doesn't even say hello and is only on the phone, and when the customer comes in, she doesn't say hello or tell them to wait. I don't recommend this place.

This place used to be good with communication and trustworthy. We brought our vehicles here and didn’t think twice about their integrity or them trying to upsell us. This changed when my wife brought her car for a regular scheduled oil change. The oil change took about a day and when she went to pick it up to drive it off of the lot, her brake sensor light came on. There had been zero issues with the brakes before taking it here but maybe it was just a coincidence. She turns around and asks them to check why her brake light sensor is on. A full day almost two go by and they call her to say that they replaced the front brakes and that it will be approximately $800. Nobody called to advise her of her front brakes needing replaced or for approval before any work was done. She spoke to the manager who offered to discount approximately $150 from the job. Mind you, this is right after the hurricane where a random $800 expense can set people back in addition to whatever recovery funds they may need. Fast forward, we don’t have any option but to pay the discounted price of approximately $650. The manager did not seem to care that her shop just did $800 of unapproved work and she said that she talked to the employee who did this but it doesn’t change anything. It should also be noted that as we were waiting in line to pay for the unapproved work, another customer was angry because they also did unapproved work on her car so they gave her a free oil change. As soon as my wife drives her car off of the lot, she notices a significant pulsating in the steering wheel that was not there prior to the brake job. My wife called the GM Mike who seemed to listen to her concern about the unapproved work and offered to personally look at the brakes to make sure that his workers actually did the work they said they did. Another day goes by and we get a call that the front brakes were indeed completed and that the rear brakes now need replaced which was causing the pulsating. Mind you, before bringing the car here, she had zero issues with her brakes or the steering wheel pulsating when braking. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. They just changed management and they obviously do not have it figured out yet. I would not trust them to do a single thing to my cars after this last experience.

Totally overpriced. Charged me $330 for a single ignition coil. Part was $208, rest labor. Absurd. Had to have it done on a weekend. Highway robbery. They wanted $50 to replace the spark plug - not. Quote from another garage -$75 for coil, $15 for plugs. Will NEVER go back to Tire Choice.

Work was decent, but the employee named Xander was extremely rude to me, and wouldn’t stand by work they just completed. They just completed an alignment, and then all my lights went off. Lights weren’t on befor the alignment, gave me an extremely hard time and at one point screamed and got into my Face when i said the word “ customer service”. The employee named Mike was super cool and actually provided sound customer service. Highly don’t recommend him working at your shop.

Another visit to Tire Choice last weekend (oil change) ... and yet another fantastic experience. We have three cars and have been taking our cars here for years. Alan was awesome ... like he always is and has been. We're gonna pay somebody for oil changes, service, tires, etc. ... might as well be great people ... and the team at Tire Choice is made up of great people. Another visit last weekend (8/10/24) ... another great experience. Just an oil change - we go there for all of our cars' oil changes ... and have done so for years. The option to drop it off at lunchtime and pick it up before 6pm was/is awesome (we live just 5-10 minutes away - so convenient). Anthony was awesome ... as always! Another trip to our Tire Choice last week ... had a damaged sidewall on one of our front tires that was close to end of its life anyway. They were able to get matching tires to the ones we recently put on the back (purchased from TC, of course) ... very reasonably priced ... installed timely ... and (as always at TC) everyone super courteous. This is the only place we go for tires, oil changes, and any kind of service/maintenance ... significant savings over dealerships ... just as competent (if not moreso) ... way faster ... and way, way nicer. This Tire Choice (S. Dale Mabry) is fantastic. Alan is the best ... always so professional and courteous ... even when it's clear they're busy and he's going the extra mile. Been taking all of our cars there for service, tires, occasional repairs ... way better than a dealer ... on price, convenience, etc. ... we typically drop off, then pick up later same day.

I am writing this review just after leaving, and I will absolutely return. Two of the workers, Allen and Anthony (I believe) were extremely helpful. A bit short-staffed but what they lacked in manpower they made up in courtesy and professionalism. They even bought lunch for a woman who had been waiting for some time! I am very impressed, keep it up y’all 👍. Edit: Re-reviewing this place because they knocked it out of the park again. Took my car in for a tire change and it literally took 15 minutes. Knowledgeable staff, fair pricing, and quick turnaround yet again.

I had a terrible experience at Tire Choice that I want to share to warn others. I went in for a simple tire change and was told it would take about an hour. I ended up waiting for four hours! To make things worse, when I got my car back, I found out they had broken my window switch and tried to hide it. When I confronted the staff, they didn’t take responsibility and just gave me vague excuses. After a week of trying to get a clear answer, I finally got a corporate number to call. But dealing with corporate has been just as frustrating. I’ve been passed around to different people, each promising to help but never following through. Weeks have gone by, and I still have no resolution. Would not give me a manager to talk to. It's basically the wild west at their shop and corporate office. This experience has been a nightmare. The lack of professionalism and basic customer service is shocking. If you’re thinking about going to Tire Choice, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere. There are plenty of other tire shops that actually care about their customers. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place!

I made a purchase on Amazon of my 4 tires, and I decided to put these in this workshop, fortunately they send me the receipt, and when I arrive today to install my new tires, Mr. ALLEN attends me and tells me that my tires never arrived, there when I tell him that they did arrive, he speaks to me disrespectfully and I do not pay attention to him, I speak Spanish, not English and he discriminated against me a lot in front of him, the reception worker who is new in fact and he apologized to me and told me that he will report this incident, I show him the invoice and I ask him who ALLEN is and he tells me that it is the same one, the tires were received by him with his signature on the invoice, in the end after being there that I lost more than 3 hours my problem was never resolved, they only gave me a number and that I call, my tires were lost or stolen, they do not know, I paid for everything like 850 dollars and in the end I have nothing and with proof of everything, I hope that they fire the employee ALLEN for his bad manners and discrimination of me being Latino, for not being able to speak English... the truth is, think carefully before going to do any work in this workshop, because they do not take responsibility despite stopping tests...

This is not the same place I was at last month, I don’t see the manager Anthony, there’s new faces and not pleasant ones in fact I watched as a customers car was towed in on Thursday 9/5 and a person of management thought it was funny that the car wasn’t repairable, absolutely despicable to laugh at someone’s misfortune….where did our Anthony go ? I was here a month ago and saw a shop running with so much compassion and caring about the customer, I watched as Anthony helped person after person he was working alone for the most part and even as busy as he was he made time to help everyone , I saw hugs exchanged even customers having food delivered as a thank you but unfortunately on Thursday what I saw was not remotely even close to the same level of support. Also I’m in the service and when my service was complete I asked if my military discount was added and I was told that’s the price. I paid but won’t be returning. RESPECT OUR SACRIFICE

I bought road hazard coverage in December on my Pirelli Cinturato P7 RF tire and came in less than 8 months later because of damage from a pothole. He tried to get me to eventually switch out to continentals and I told him not now I just want to stick to the Pirelli that I had and he said ok, but he eventually wanted to switch me into a set of Continentals. After being at the shop for 3 hours and then having to go in to work late, I didn’t notice that they put a Continental tire on my car until the next day. I felt so deceived. Who does that? It’s just the fact that they put a different tire on my car when I clearly told him that I was not ready to change the tire brand. The Pirelli Cinturato P7 RF tires are summer tires and I live in Tampa, it’s basically summer all year around here and they handle the rain very well. It is just the feeling of deception that bothers me. I was wondering why the guy didn’t say much or explain anything while checking me out.

Originally took my vehicle in for a simple oil change and tire rotation, but upon doing the tire rotation, the Anthony and the team noticed my brake pads were worn thin and were in dire need of replacement as well as some alignment adjustments to save my tires. Anthony was diligent and showed me exactly what was needed on my vehicle and took great care of me. They explained the situation fully, gave me the most competitive pricing imaginable, and kept me up-to-date on the ETA for completion. He even sent me a text as they were wrapping up my vehicle. I would 100% recommend taking your vehicle here, these guys are genuine and will take care of you.

To the corporate figure that was here yesterday I believe his name was robby he was being very disrespectful as a female this made me uncomfortable. Also service here was delayed and unprofessional which is uncommon from my personal experience. As a customer i shouldn’t feel tension in the air i almost chose to take my service to another shop if not already having my car being worked on
