Chris and Josh were awesome. After calling 13 shops on a Sunday I had given up trying to find someone to look at my vehicle. I just happened to drive by and the sun caught their open sign. I stopped in and Chris was happy to help. None of the other shops I called has a diagnostic tech working. Unfortunately, they work when I work. Chris said Josh would be there shortly, he was running a tire errand. Once he got there he took a look. They did a great job explaining the simple option to the more complex. They gave me great deals and we able to get the job done same day. This is my camper van/home, so I needed it done same day or I would have been homeless. They were so friendly and helpful. I could have asked for better service. I rarely say that about car things. I'll go out of my way to come to this location again in the future as I'm down in Bradenton.

Chris was great! He was short handed mechanics but was manning the desk check in's and helping in the shop and very personable with taking care of the customers keeping them updated on the progress and other things that were found in need of repair on our vehicles. He managed everything well and with a great attitude!

If you’re looking for an honest and reliable assessment of your car, this is the place to go. Chris and Jose are outstanding. They give to you straight with no bs. They helped resolve an issue that another shop failed to fix, where they tried to rip me off, but Chris and Jose took care of it with professionalism and skill. I’ll definitely be bringing my car here from now on.

Horrible service. Walk in at 9am to a herd of cattle eating breakfast, told I'm the first one there, yet takes 45 mins to patch a tire. Took the car a mile down the street to JP tires, it was patched quickly for a fraction of the price.

I've had two tires needing repair in two days time. Out of all the places I called for said tire repairs. Everyone one said. The best we can do is drop off the tire and we'll get to it when we can. Not Chris. He told me to come right in. Fixed the first one. And the very next day. It happened again. Chris didn't miss a beat. Got me in. Fixed the 2nd tire. I highly recommend Chris and his staff. They are PHENOMENAL!!!. They've got my business for life. 5 Stars all the way!

Stopped by because I was having a sudden transmission issue in my recently purchased 2017 Ford Escape and figured that I could get them to hook it up to the computer to tell me what's going on.. I was bluntly told that there would be no need, and it's 100% the clutch package in the vehicle (known vehicle issue) that would be about $4000. I ask again to hook it up to be sure. NOPE! Instead, I got "I've worked on X amount of these, and that's the reason this is happening!" I finally give up and decide to try to limp my vehicle back to my work and leave it there, and it drove perfectly fine.. stopped at another mechanic who LISTENED, hooked it up to the computer, and BOOM! $4000 transmission replacement becomes a $400 Transmission Fluid Heater Coolant Control Valve.. that I could replace myself! Being lazy and/or so confident in the answer to not hook up the vehicle to the computer saved me $4000, and lost them my buisness in diagnosing/fixing the actual issue! Such a shame.

Finding a competent Shop is so hard to do, so when I needed work done to my Lexus I was told to give Chris at Tires choice a try. I was extremely pleased with them. The Manager Chris and his staff are very knowledgeable about figuring out the problems with my car and explaining what was needed to fix it. I am writing this as I do not know who else I can contact about a currently unresolved situation with a local Tire Choice store in Tampa, Florida located at 8490 Sheldon Rd, Tampa, FL 33615. I have been speaking with the store manager starting this prior Saturday. I brought my Lexus is 250 in to inspect a humming sound in the rear tires and for an oil change. I was told that I needed to replace my wheel bearings. I was asked to bring my car in on Tuesday as the ordered parts should be there on Monday. I dropped my car off Tuesday at 12:30 and from store manager, he told me my car would be ready by the end of the day. I arrived at 6 pm only to find that my car had not been touched. I was given an excuse about his tech getting in an accident and again promised to have it to me by the time they closed at 7 pm. I never received a phone call Tuesday night despite having been a previous customer purchasing a tire a week ago. During that purchase, I received a phone call from the store manager confirming that he had my correct number and my car was ready for pickup. That being said I called this Wednesday I spoke to the manager and he told me they called and left a voicemail. When I gave him my number to confirm who he called as I did not have a voicemail or missed call, he said they had the wrong phone number. Despite having called me two weeks prior. Wednesday he told me again I would have your car back to you by closing at 7 pm, their hold-up is they discovered a broken sensor (I can not confirm all of my sensors were working before dropping the car off). I waited all day and I missed a day of work not having my vehicle and waiting for pick up. Fast forward to now October 24th, 2024 @ 12:15 pm I still do not have my car. I received a call at 7:45 Wednesday night long after closing time The store manager now tells me that a service tech took it for a test drive and the sensor somehow broke again. This is now 3 days with my car for a wheel bearing and a sensor I did not come in asking and that was not showing any lights and working fine before taking my car to Tire Choice. In all fairness things happen if the sensor broke it broke BUT this does not change or excuse this has been poor service as an understatement misleading and has left me with a feeling that my car is with someone the is incompetent and does not know how to be straight with their customers. Things happen BE HONEST I do not trust anything that the manager is telling me nor do I trust the work that is being done to my vehicle. I am reaching out to give Tires Choice an opportunity to rectify this and to expedite the return of my vehicle before this escalates further.

They took me 5 minutes prior to closing for an alignment, rotation and tire balance. Chris, Dylan and Jay were very informative and trustworthy. Hard to find shops like this in 2024.

Chris and Dylan have been so helpful. I dropped my Chevy Trax off before the hurricane and was worried I would not be able to get it back out to drive. They got me back in my car while we waited on a part. They had many issues with my warranty company and they went above and beyond to fix all the problems with the car I had just bought. They even offered to drive me home. I am grateful for their help.

Chris is truly amazing! When I brought my car in, he assured me that he would take care of everything and he did. He kept me updated on the status.throughout and took care of a leak in my tire that I didn’t realize was there. Super friendly and did not overcharge. Bringing my daughter’s car in for preventative care thanks to Chris!

Chris, Usman, and the mechanics were super helpful, efficient, and do a great job I’ve been coming to the same shop since I moved to FL in 2021 and even before them the shop consistently has very honest and helpful staff! Update: the staff changes and i’m not sure if management changed but im highly offended that i was quoted $1150 for an alleged loose wheel baring that could snap at any moment, only to take it to another mechanic that told me nothing was loose but the need for an alignment is correct and theyre glad I didnt allow myself to get ripped off. Again ive been coming to tire choice for years but ill never be coming back again that was wild

Chris, the NEW owner/manager was ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC! He told me EVERYTHING that would be checked on my classic truck as well as the EXACT COST. He clearly explained the payment options. Also, the rest of the staff made a point to speak to me and thanked me for picking their location. I will definitely go back again.

Thank you Chris and crew!! Last time I called this location, under different management, it took several days to get me in to patch my tire. I called Wednesday morning to see if I could bring my car and tire in to repair the flat, and Chris was eager to fit me in that morning, even with a full shop, which I was so appreciative. After they patched my tire up, they evaluated the others and found another nail (thanks temp debris site across the street), which they quickly patched for me. I was back on the road quick, so thanks again! Highly recommend.

Chris and his staff are awesome. I’ve been through quite a few sets of tires in my time, and multiple tire shops across a few states. Hands down this has been the best experience I’ve had buying new tires. In a post Covid world where customer service has tanked it’s extremely refreshing to see that it still exists. Keep it up!

I had the pleasure of visiting this Auto service center today. I was having problems with one of my tires and had the pleasure of meeting the store manager Chris Gonzalez. Chris went over and above assisting me with one of my tires. They were busy when I got there in the morning and he told me to come back a little later which I did. This afforded me the time to run other errands and come back without a long wait. Chris is a very honest and sincere person and a pleasure to talk with while waiting for my car to be fixed. He is very knowledgeable and extremely honest in his price quotes. What a rare find in this day and age. I highly recommend this Tire Choice on Sheldon road. I assure you you will not be disappointed!

I just had a great experience with Rick, from Tires Choice. Great Customer Service. Highly recommend for anyone seeking car service from Tires, to engine work! A kind soul today who was parked behind me told me that my brake light was out. I immediately called Tires Choice and brought it in. I took my 2012 Subaru Forester in for a rear passenger tire patch this morning after my DIY plug job developed a slow leak. Chris Gonzalez (shop manager) and his staff took amazing care of me. I expressed concern that my brakes were starting to go bad as well, since I’ve heard some intermittent squealing. While they were repairing my tire, they also inspected the brakes and told me that my back brakes will need replaced sooner rather than later and I still have about 50% left on the front, so I am not in immediate danger of brake failure. They even brought me back into the shop to show me what the brake pads looked like, so I know that they weren’t BS’ing me. I didn’t have time this morning to get that done as I had to work, but when the time comes, I will definitely be returning to have them completed. Excellent staff, Excellent service, overall personable people, very friendly and extremely extremely excellent pricing😉 Keep doing what you are doing guys, and I will be a returning customer for as long as I live in this area!
