I was in Tampa for work and got a nail in my tire, made an appointment to get it fixed after work and filled up my tire enough to make it to the shop, showed up and they told me they were too busy and wouldn’t even look at the tire, even though I was right on time for my appointment. Horrible customer service.

came here for a nail in my fiances tire, the general manager was awesome. got us in and out without an appointment and he was super professional and courteous!

I went in to have my new rims placed on my vehicle. When they finished their work they had a service tech bring my car around to the front of the shop we’re their employee stalled my manual transmission multiple times, burnt up my clutch, and curbed one of my brand new rims on the curb in front of the shop right infront of me. Chris the store owner promised he would make it write and send an incident report to corporate and get back to me with an update. I have reached out 3 times via phone call and email and have yet to hear any update on how they are going to fix this issue. I understand accidents occur at businesses and am understandable that Chris can’t be blamed for the result of one his techs. But he has yet to reach out to give me any update. And gave me his word that he would make this right and not ignore the issue. So far I have been disappointed and wouldn’t take any vehicle there nor take the store’s word for any promises made. UPDATE 7 months later: I brought tires to Chris that he said would fit on my rims, I compromised and he assured me that they would swap my rims onto the tires I brought with me free of charge onto my rims. After leaving my car at the shop for 2 days I called for an update and that is when he told me they were not going to be able to fit the tires on the rims. Even though he inspected the tires and insured me there would be no issues swapping the tires. He never reached out to update me once they found out they would not fit and only informed me after I called the shop and demanded a status update. They held my car for 2 whole days and never even touched it. Leaving me without a vehicle for 2 days and had no sense of urgency of getting me back my car. Have not done business with this shop since

I came in the Friday after Milton. It was only Chris the manager, one guy in the shop, and one lady answering calls. The shop was completely full, cars parked in the front, and around the block. They didn't make any excuses, they just got the job done and with great customer service. Thank you for being open and taking care of our car. I highly recommend this location.

Upselling. I took my car in just to get tires rotating and balanced. Simple. Car is vibrating a lil over 65mph. Dropped it off. Was told we didnt touch it cause you need a tune up. I asked why tune up they said idk thats what tech said. I said what does tune up have to do with vibrations over 65mph. Wasnt rude but not informative. She said well i can do it anyways. I said no thanks. Lil did they know the car got full tuneup 10,000 miles ago. So it is not tune up. Which makes me believe they are an upsell shop. I know they need to make money but you shouldnt assume things without asking. Plus i know cars. I have worked on my own cars for years. Its def tires.

edited: chris is still awesome! but ricky was quite impatient and a bit rude on phone. I have gone to get oil change there three times. I almost didn’t go back because of this. but, decided since chris has had good customer service those three times it wouldn’t be fair to him! luckily chris was there today! Chris was awesome! Very communicative - he told me a good time to come in to get an oil change and tire rotation. Had great customer service - endured I was taken care of quickly so I could be on my way. Very clean and inviting waiting room. 10/10 recommend. very trustworthy employees

Chris the manager was super helpful over the phone and in-person, he can quickly give you a range of tires available for your vehicle and clearly explain the pricing, which seemed fair and as good or better than other options I explored. The tire install was fast and painless, mechanics were helpful as well.

I can’t figure out why this place has such good reviews, my experience was nothing but problem after problem. I scheduled an online appointment for a tire patch repair and was told the repair would be done by 3pm. By 4:30pm I had not heard back so decided to call. The person I talked to told me that they evaluated the back right tire and didn’t find any leaks, however the tire with the leak was the back left tire so they spent the entire day looking at the wrong tire (upon my arrival I walked out to the car and showed the employee exactly which tire had the leak). Additionally, the wrong tire that they evaluated first was inflated to 55 PSI and was not taken back down to 42 before I picked it up which can be extremely dangerous and cause blowouts. Lastly, the hubcap was only secured half way onto the rim when I picked it up and was sticking out pretty far off the side. Extremely disappointing experience, seemed like careless service.

I recently had an outstanding experience at Tire Choice. I went in to purchase a full set of 4 new tires, and Chris (manager) made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. He really took the time to ensure I was getting the right tires for my needs. I purchased Kumho tires. Unfortunately, about a month later, I encountered a bit of bad luck and found a nasty nail in one of my new tires. I was worried it would be a hassle, but Chris and his team were fantastic! They fit me in the same day for a tire repair, and to my surprise, even without a warranty, they repaired it complimentary. It’s rare to find a business that genuinely cares about their customers like this, and it speaks volumes about Chris and his team’s commitment to customer service. I truly appreciate his willingness to go the extra mile to earn my business, since the nail issue was outside of warranty. Granted, I recommend getting the warranty :) Now, I will always recommend this shop to friends and family. Tire Choice is filled with genuine people who prioritize honesty and customer satisfaction over simply making a sale. If you’re looking for a trustworthy tire service, look no further!

I went here to get some work done on my car. Alberto helped me change my Blinker Fluid because my blinker started blinking slower and slower than usual and he also helped replace my Winter Air with Summer Air in my tires! He’s a great guy and super knowledgeable! He even recommended a replacement of my Glove Compartment Filter. Now my car runs great! Thank you Alberto you’re my hero.

The downtown location provides excellent service, they evaluated my issue and was able to quickly solve it. The service was quick, thorough and priced incredibly fair! The store manager was friendly and accommodating! I have been going here for several years and I must say that the service speaks for itself!

The. Morgan St. location is awesome and gives excellent service.. I found their company coupon online for oil change /tire rotation and took it to the 56th St. 1st. Big mistake😑 (dont go there). I explained that situation to this nice young man. Whom was professional along the lovely lady mechanic, that took care of my car. Thank You.

I’m sitting in the lobby first one employee comes into the office and is loudly yelling about another customer being dumb for blaming them for scratching their car then minutes later a women comes in first of all she looks high but she’s screaming looking directly at me saying “most girls don’t have to worry about this most girls have mommy and daddy money, not me” more then likely she’s not yelling about me I mind my own business this girl comes back “I minds well start street walking” I ignore again then she speaks to me saying “cherish your parents” ummm I literally don’t have parents and she say “cherish whoever pays your bills” EXCUSE ME I pay my own bills and I worked hard to this is bizarre I just need a new battery not to be stuck listening to a grown women offend me while having a fit I find this insanely unprofessional and if I already hadn’t been waiting a while I would have left

Tire Choice Auto in Downtown Tampa is honest, efficient, and professional. I have been unfortunate to receive nails in my tires twice within two weeks. Tire Choice was able to patch both tires with no issues on short notice. Chris does a wonderful job managing the shop and I would highly recommend this service center.
