i made an appointment for 10 AM to get an oil change. i saw that they were busy so i asked if it was worth it for me to get picked up and come back later, they said yes. i did that. i get 0 update and call back at 3:15, they said my car is next to get done. that was my first question is why it’s been over 5 hours and they’ve done nothing with my car, i could’ve dropped it off later. we call back again at 5, and they said it’s ready to be picked up. when making the appointment yesterday i asked how much it costs, whoever i spoke to on the phone said $64.99 plus tax. when i go to pay its $91. i ask about whoever told me it was 65 dollars and i just got a, “im not sure who told you that”. point is, i’ve never had to wait 7+ hours for an oil change and pay $91.00 for a toyota rav4 oil change. i don’t own a lexus, it shouldn’t be that expensive at all especially after i was quoted much lower. i only gave 2 stars instead of 1 because austin who was working the front was nice and was working hard all day, other than that i had a horrible experience today and will take my business elsewhere.

I want to share a recent disappointing experience at Tire Discounters on Five Mile in Cincinnati, Ohio to caution others and highlight some issues with their pricing practices. A few months ago, I received a written quote for two tires. Before making my appointment, I called the store to confirm that the quote would still be honored and was assured it would. When I arrived with the printed quote, I was informed that the tire prices had increased and that they could no longer honor the quoted price. Despite explaining that I had confirmed the price over the phone just five days earlier, I was told the person I spoke with was not the manager—apparently making it my responsibility to verify this during the call. I also inquired about their price matching policy, which I had discussed during my earlier call and is prominently advertised on Tire Discounters’ website. However, the staff found multiple reasons to avoid honoring it, citing excuses such as price increases, Walmart not including free repairs, rotation and other irrelevant factors. Had I not been pressed for time that day, I would have taken my business to Walmart, where I could have saved $40 on the tire exchange. Ultimately, I left the store feeling misled and overcharged compared to what was originally promised. I hope this serves as a useful warning to others considering similar services. The only positive aspect of the visit was a relatively short waiting time for the tire exchange of 50 minutes.

More stupid than good. The service writer rather insisted I bring the car in at 8AM rather than later in the morning for an oil change. When I got there and was written up, I found out that there would be no technician in the shop before 9:30, so my car would not even be looked at until at least then. I WAS NOT INFORMED OF THIS UNTIL 8:05! So I left the car and walked home. (30 minute walk) The car was also to be checked for a slow leak in tire. I was told the tire was SO BAD it could not be fixed and I needed new tires all around. 5000 miles prior to that my Ford dealer rated my tires as green (of green/yellow and red). I did not buy tires at this location. If I DO buy from Tire Discounters in the future it will not be at this store. (I have had very good service at the Mariemont location in the past.) The oil change was done by 10:35 at least and seems to have been done correctly. Not very happy with this 5 Mile location.

Anderson Township Tire Discounters were wonderful. They saved the day after a really crappy day. I went to Walmart to get new tires (which was already paid to get put on) and they said they couldn’t do it because my rims were too big. I called at least 8 tires shop and they couldn’t get me in. We are going to Gatlinburg tomorrow….. so I was in desperate need. These guys got me in without hesitation! Will be going back!

Bought a set of tires from here and since, have had two bad bead seals and am on my third bad valve stem. That’s a 125% failure rate. The last time I went for a repair I also got an oil change, since it was already in the shop, then got home to find oil and washer fluid leaking all over my garage floor. They claim the washer fluid isn’t even related to the work, and I probably just didn’t notice until they filled it up. I fill it regularly with rain-x fluid, which is orange, but what was leaking was blue. Will never go back to this location, don’t know how it has 4.4 stars but save yourselves the frustration and go somewhere else.

Tried to make an appointment late for the next day, and they called first thing in the morning to get me in. A very quick turnaround for patching my tire. Friendly when I came to pick it up, and slid the receipt with a no charge note. Highly recommend- fast, friendly, and made it easy for me to want to come back!

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Went in on 07/17/24 for a rotation and low pressure in a tire. Because I purchased my tires there, the rotation and patch were both free, but they also took care of my key fob battery at no cost as well. They also spent time talking over future tire options based on my camping plans. Truly great experience.

Great service. Hemant was very helpful. My tire pressure sensor light came on. Hemant checked my tires and verified that the sensor was OK at no charge. The shop was full, but I didn't even need to pull into the bay. It took 10 minutes. I think the dealer tech bumped the sensor while doing warranty maintenance. The dealer gave me an appointment 7 days later and said the diagnostic would be $150. I'm glad I got my tires from Hemant

New tires and alignment, just great as I expected. BUT not performing the 20k service I asked for along with verifying that TD could reset the "maintenance alarm" was inexcusable. Not the first time TD has failed my basic expectations.

Flat tire....asked the manager for assistance 30 minutes prior to closing..he stated they were booked for today and couldn't help or even put air in tires... very rude, no help at all..terrible service

Can you guys look at a slowly leaking tire? Yes, bring it in between 2 and 3 PM. Get there, it will be at the end of the day. Second tire discounters to tell me this today. Why do I even try with this company?

I have scanned a QR code hoping this feedback is left with the Five Mile Rd location. From beginning to end my experience was more professional than I have seen any business in a very long time. The general manager happened to work with me on the consult (didn't know he was the GM). Not only did he provide an accurate and fair consult he answered some outstanding questions I had from another vendor. 13/10 I would recommend this location to anyone. A couple other folks helped me as well and we're very professional just the same. All around wonderful experience.

Customer service here sucks !!!!!! Don't know how RT became a manager sure wasn't his ability to talk to customers please people if u do choose to go here pleas look at your receipt and make sure it has your name and address on it and not someone else's it can void your warranty even though my credit card paid for the service the receipt does not have my name on it and was told nothing can be done cuz my number came up another person's name that I don't even know so now my receipt is is in their name and nothing they can do about it. MR RT WAS VERY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL STATING NOTHING CAN BE DONE ABOUT IT !!!!! PLEASE CHOOSE A DIFFERENT LOCATION AND AVOID THE HEADACHES

I typically have all of my work completed at the Mariemont store with Frank. This time I went to the store on 5 Mile and the experience was lackluster at best. The individual who assisted me was pushy. Turns out I needed a new back tire on my Expedition and he tried to sell me two tires for $900…..as a long time customer, I asked him the best he could do and $900 was it. Mind you, this is after I’ve already had my tires rotated and aligned along with an oil change. After 5 minutes of research, I found the exact same tire significantly cheaper and the individual assumed automatically I didn’t know how to shop for tires. Needless to say, I went elsewhere and decided to put 4 brand new tires on my vehicle for a hell of a lot less than it would have cost with Hammet at the 5 Mile TireDiscounters. As a customer of TD for over 20 years, I’ll only rely on the team at Mariemont to help me and can assure you I will never be back to the 5 Mile location.

Once heard some rattling under my hood on the highway; pull over to find a loose socket wrench (not my brand) in my engine block... Had just been at this shop the week prior. Fast forward a few years and this spot has been my go-to for tire/oil changes for me and my wife's Hondas. I've stopped through maybe half a dozen times. Of those, at least three times my HR-V's TPMS alerted on the short drive home and I get home to find I suddenly have a leaky tire (different one each time; and no, there were no tire rotations involved). You can call it coincidence, but I'll be calling another shop next time.
