I picked up a nail on the highway. Came here for a plug after calling to make sure they could do it. Was told they were busy but yes they could. I was quoted an hour to fix NBD. They brought my car in and racked it right away. After waiting over an hour and seeing them check the tire out once right when it was racked I asked for an update. I was told that the nail was in the side of the tire tread and I’d need to buy a new one. Basically , a female alone looked like a good target. I grew up in a garage I know better! The nail was two inches in from the wall I saw it myself. They said they only patch not plug which isn’t what I was initially told! I got the tire over inflated and drove to AA tire and Autobody. They had it plugged and out in 15 minutes! ( four 1/4 the price). I’m sure you’ve done this 1000 times because you have the patches in your pen cups to explain easily why a whole tire is needed. The tech that was helping felt guilty after I told him I knew better made up some bullcrap about replacing my valve stem cap for free to seem like a better guy.

This location provides wonderful customer service. We have gotten tires for all of our vehicles at this location for many years. Everyone goes out of their way to really explain any issues with your vehicle & include you in the decision making process without pressuring you one way or another. The last several weeks I had an issue with low tire pressure in one of my tires. The staff advised me on what I needed to look for in order to determine if the tire needed further investigation. Today was the day that my tire needed that further investigation. Charles, as well as another gentleman( I think possibly the manager) worked my car in as soon as I arrived, determined the problem, quickly fixed the problem, & sent me on my way. With all of the bad weather we have been having recently, I felt a sense of relief knowing that my tires were in good working order. Thank you again, Tire Discounters Staff, for your wonderful customer service!

Great experience as always. Quick in and out for a rotation and alignment. They offered to recheck the alignment and adjust since my tires were purchased within the past year. Very nice.

I have been using this location for 3 years. Everyone I have ever interacted has been so friendly and helpful. I pull a trailer for my business and have had many tire blowouts and flats. They have always gotten me in and out and back to work in a timely manner. I highly recommend Tire Discounters to everyone!

Simple flat tire fix, not a big or expensive job but they still treated me as a valued customer. I noticed a lot of care given to the other customers that were there getting work done while I was waiting. They carefully explained costs and communicated about anything unexpected that may have come up. The complete opposite of sales pressure. All the staff was friendly and attentive. I felt warmth on the phone as I called before coming in store. I’ll be back!

Another great visit at Tire Discounters! Steve is always a pleasure to talk with. His insight, knowledge, and patience is appreciated. He is very thorough in explaining everything and recently assisted me with a Continental tire wear warranty claim. Joe's customer service skills are amazing and he is very helpful and great at his job. As far as the shop goes, they always deliver on the schedule / time frame they give me and that is why I keep coming back - because I can plan out my day knowing that I'll be in and out as promised and I really appreciate that. Man !! My trailer broke down and I was stranded on the side of Westport rd … took my tire to them they had the tire in stock and this dude Kirk or Kurt I believe his name was… had the whole tire switch out before the paper work was done ! That kind of service is unmatched !! 10 ⭐️ rating !! Thank yoy tire discounter of st Mathew’s !!

Staff here is wonderfully professional and welcoming. There is a waiting area with comfortable seating, free coffee and water, and a television, also a small table for kids to color at. Deals are absolutely insane if you need service around a holiday. I was able to get 4 tires, alignment, and oil change for a seriously great price. Staff was very polite and kept me updated through the process as I had to wait on-site to be serviced. (I had an appointment, so they were able to get started right away.) Since my wheels had corroded a bit, they had to grind out some areas, but the whole thing was handled in just under 3 hours for all of that work. Great dudes here! I took a trip down to Nashville a couple of days later and everything went well, so they definitely got me settled and in great shape for the road!

Steve took care of me for new tires He is very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous He gave me options for a different price groups answered all my questions was very patient He provided me with top level customer care I receive four tires at a great price and the work was completed earlier earlier than expected I've always had great experience at this location. Steve is fantastic. He knows the entire business. He gives you options for service and products and allows you to choose what's best for you. There's no pressure for sales. I've been here numerous times. I highly recommend this store. This is simply the best tire store I've ever gone to for products and service Just ask for Steve and you know you'll get the best

My car has been showing me for the last few months that tire pressure is low. It happens on days when the weather is all over the place. I recalibrate the tire pressure settings and the message goes away. On this particular day, I actually went to fill gas and decided to fill my tires as well. That’s when I realized after filling 3 tires, that the 4th was not filling at all. It looked flat honesty. The place I was at filled the tire for me, but the next appointment for that location to look at it was 7 PM. The tire discounters was in the area. I went there to have them look at the tire. No appointment needed. They took a look at my tire and advised me of the situation. They gave me three options on what to do to take care of my tire. They didn’t not charge me for the evaluation. I advised I would review and consider and then decide. So I left. It gave me time to review the options, research and determine what would be best. I grabbed some lunch and reviewed the options. Thanks to the internet and particularly Reddit, I found this would be a good option to get tires. The swaying factor was that they are readily available and do not require appointments. If you are traveling and something happens, then they are able to help you and assist. That helped me with my decision. I was going to get my tires there. I went back to the location and they were very kind. I got to hang out in their waiting area. They had water, coffee, and outlets in case you needed to charge a device. I appreciated their space. After charging my device, I ended up going out for a walk since there are stores close by and sidewalks. They texted me updates, so I knew when my car was done. As a result, I made it back to the Tire Discounters to get my car. The staff was very kind and they had taken care of my vehicle very well. I was very thankful for what they did. My tires are working well. I have not had any issues with the tire pressures since! Thankful.

Store: 9710 Von Allmen Ct, Louisville, KY 40241 Steve did an all around amazing job. We are so glad to have him be the one to serve us. Steve was very informative and patient while we decided on tires. He explained the advantages and disadvantages of each in regard to our vehicle. On the day of our service (tires had to be ordered) , he informed us and apologized for some short staffing. Steve installed our tires himself. This was true customer service. He showed us were there some rim issues and what to expect In the future and how to take care of it. He then discovered that the dealer when rotating previous tires hadn’t reprogrammed the TPS sensors, he took care of for us. This is a store we look forward to visiting again. Steve is excellent. I would highly recommend anyone to go see him. The young lady in the front was very friendly. She assisted a family member wanting similar tires. Everyone at this location was extremely friendly, outgoing, patient with the customers we watched from the waiting area. Steve, thank you for all your assistance. You truly made this a pleasant experience. I do like looking at my truck with its bigger tires. You are right, “true eye candy”. We are very pleased.

Just got back from here with I believe my 3rd loose wheel used tire mount and balance. I got in at the beginning of the day and they turned me around in about 20 minutes. I was very happy about this as it saved me a trip back and let me get going with the rest of my work day. They always seem very customer service focused and friendly. The loose wheel mount and balance is priced right. I would highly recommend them for a good customer service experience.

Pulled into Lowes and noticed I had big screw embedded in tread of tire. Immediately drove to Tire Discounters in the same lot and showed them the problem. It was 20 minutes till there closing time but Steve the manager said they would take care of the problem even if ran past closing. Spencer the tech took care of my tire with a smile and “no problem “ when I apologized for keeping him late on a Friday evening. Net - great customer service, took care of my problem and all at a great price. Tire Discounters has earned my future business off this experience. Highly recommended. Weird experience. I went it to get a full alignment and oil change. So they showed me an air filter that wasn’t my cars air filter bc mine is a different shape and had a couple of random leaves and a package peanut just sat on top. The guy walks over very carefully trying not to have the air blow the leaves and the random package peanut to show me and tell me that I need a new air filter and that my clasps are broken and it’s held together with paper clips (no paper clips there)… I declined buying the air filter. I go to check out and he tells me my total with no breakdown on what I am paying. It seemed high so I asked for a breakdown. The air filter is added to the bill even though I declined. I waited to post this! I got that oil change at the beginning of February. I just let that go. But when I went in for an oil change at Valvoline, they have a machine that measures the oil being removed… My car takes 6.4 quarts. There was almost 9 quarts removed from my car!!!!!! Tire Discounters way way way way overfilled the oil on my car. When you overfill a car with oil it can cause damage to the engine and could even cause the engine to lock up!!! Thus totaling a car!!! The alignment is still a little off and I’ve been hesitant to take it back in for them to redo the alignment because you get a year warranty on the alignment. After hearing what they did to my car with extremely overfilling the oil, I would not recommend this location. Maybe an off day for them. But multiple issues and concerns…

When making a phone call to make my appointment, the phone was quickly answered, and I got an appointment in a couple of days. Less than 45 minutes to get my tires rotated and a few other items checked. Friendly service people and all went well. Even fresh coffee while I waited! Which I really need it for an 8 o’clock appointment. 😅

I had an issue with a dealership over tires. I reached out to Steve Battishill at Tire Discounters on Brownsboro Road in Louisville. Fearing I would have to replace the tires at my expense and take a loss, not only did Steve advise me on how to handle the issue with the dealer, (which worked!), but he also took time to educate me on tires, and make recommendations on the best tires for my vehicle regardless of price or getting the business. Steve is clearly a highly skilled, knowledgeable professional and I so appreciate that he wanted the best for me, whether he got a sale or not. Steve cheerfully, allowed me to contact him 2 additional times as a consultant, always remembered me, and never expected anything in return. I can't wait until I need a new set of tires - I won't go to anyone else. Steve earned my future business and I highly respect him and recommend his store! You will feel taken care of!
