I was on the side of the highway and without a spare. Called and spoke to a receptionist who quoted me $150/hr since it was a Sunday (outside normal hours rate). She sent me to Dave who quoted me $180/hr which i then explained the 150 quote (which he did eventually honor). He sent someone out and took about 2hrs to arrive. The tech arrived and took almost 2hrs mainly because he didn’t have the tools to do the job. He claimed his boss Dave didn’t load his tool bag in the van before departing to my location. He was about to head back to town to get his tool bag when he asked if I had any tools. Luckily I had a pipe wrench and a hammer (which was not the correct tool to use in this application) which after 30 mins of effort was able to get the tire off. In the process of loosening the nuts, he stripped one of two lug nuts that hold the rim plate, so we weren’t able to use it when putting back on the rim. The one lug nut held the rim and I didn’t give him a hard time about the stripped one because I felt sorry for him to be working really hard with not the correct tools. He thanked me for loaning the tools and said he talked to Dave and said I would get discounted for the extra time. Dave later ran my card. When i got the receipt he charged for 3hrs of time. I called in and spoke to Shane as Dave wasnt there. I explained how the situation and he said that Dave didnt overcharge and probably charged for Dave's time to prepare the tech's truck with tools and the tire and was charging me time for that. That struck a huge nerve with me as the boss's time to load the truck in my book is called cost of doing business, not to be charged the customer. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and Dave called the next day mentioning he refunded me one hour. Im glad to say the situation was resolved, but the stress and time wasted on this whole thing is unacceptable. My recommendation is OUT OF TOWNERS BEWARE and make sure to get crystal clear details/answer when working with these guys. Consider them as a last resort in town.

Shane was beyond amazing. Our trailer tire sheered off on our way home to Wisconsin. He took personal care of us getting us back on the road fast. Even calling hours later to check on us. We ❤️ Shane

Amazing service when we unexpectedly got a flat during our travel from Sturgis, SD to Casper, WY. Noticed the flat on our dully as we were traveling through Gillette, WY. Got a plug and patch for less than $20. And to the gentleman trucker that allowed up to jump the service line before him...many thanks! We were repaired and back on the road within an hour.

Dropped my truck off at 11 to get new tire pressure sensors they called me saying my truck was done showed up and they wear just pulling there tires off. Once I finally got my truck back three tires had 10 psi in them and they also put huge scratches on three of my after market wheels. Very up set especially since they charged me almost $200

They allowed me to have my dog inside. Guys took care of us. I didn’t have time to shop around and everyone else I called had a long wait. Came from Corpus Christie Texas made it all this way and still have 6 hours left to go. Glad we stopped here and bought new tires

When a business takes care of you and doesn't charge you. how can you not give 5 stars. We were in Gillette for state indoor track. While there, I got a warning for charging system error. it came on twice but then went off again. Since we had a 7 hour drive home I was worried. I went to Big O and the guy there told me his tech was out for the day but referred me here. I showed up, they got me in immediately, ran a full system check. They said that at that point everything was working as it was supposed to, but gave me some things to watch out for. Told me that sometimes as alternators start to fail this will happen. Spent 20-30 with me and didn't charge me for the diagnostic check. I greatly appreciate it. I'm not in Gillette very often, but would definitely visit them if I had a need to. The alternator did go out a few weeks later, but I was near home and was able to use my local shop.

The only choice for truck tires in Gillette. David and his team are well equipped with the tools to service large truck tires and the knowledge to service and install them correctly. I’ll be a customer for life. Many thanks to all the Tire Rama team!

Called to get a quote for installing some tires on rims, and they wanted to price gouge me by charging double because they were new. I went elsewhere with more transparent and fair pricing. $20 to mount and balance used tires vs $40 to mount and balance new tires. Same exact labor and time involved = price gouging

Have went to these guys from time to time cu they'll fix or mount some things that other shops won't without asking questions. Got bent over for 45 bucks to mount one tire today because it was new. Don't think you boys are gonna make it when discount opens up down the road but the good news is everyone's hiring!

What an awesome crew! One of our old tires had separated and was too dangerous to drive on. Got us in just before closing and set up with a new set of Cooper tires. Highly recommended.

After a blowout, called and said I would be there in 5 minutes. They said ok. Showed up and waited at the counter for 15 min. No one ever came out. Went to Big O and they jumped on it.
