Had high hopes for this shop but it became apparent that they're barely a step above a tire and oil service. Karl looked straight in my face and lied about the source of the vehicles noise because he didn't want to pull motor to remove mounts in order to fix control arm and ball joints. Endanged my life and would have let my vehicle fail for his conveinence. He happily took my money for anything easy though, oil, tires, shocks, etc. Even so granted with a 3 week wait to be seen and another week to do anything. Too bad man I really tried to give you a shot over and over. Here's an idea for a more successful re-brand, Karl: Titze Tire and Oil

I will never be taking my car back here again. i brought it in to get my transmission looked at. then they call me the next day and tell me i need a new transmission because there was metal slivers in the fluid. i changed that fluid 2 days prior to this and i know it wasn’t black. Then, i went to pick it up cause he said it drove fine and my speedometer cable and throttle cable no longer functioned correctly, my upper hard pipe is not even on, and i had a boost leak. i’ve never seen my car in worse condition. yet they still charged me 140 for basically breaking my car. when i was driving the car to the shop the speedometer cable and everything worked perfect except for shifting so that’s why i brought it to them. definitely do not recommend!

These guys were life savers! I can't thank them enough. I got into a bind after hitting a giant pothole with my camper van. The shop was closed, but they let me stay overnight in their parking lot. They got me in right away the next morning and had me on my way by the end of the day. There was a lot of damage to my undercarriage... I was amazed they got me in and out in one day. I highly recommend!

I definetely recommend Titze's Auto Repair. This is my first time coming here. I called Karl to have a look at my car, as my power steering fluid was spraying out as fast as I could add it. The next available appt was 12 days away. After he looked at my car, he indicated it was a hazard to drive as power steering fluid Is flammable. He made an exception due to the hazard and replaced my PS pressure hose the very next day. Price was very reasonable. This is now my go to mechanic.

I had a brake light issue that even though my brake lights where checked by some auto places in town. This owner Karl was nice enough at the last moment to take a look at and found out it it base bad break lights and that the auto places we went to didn't give us the right information and sold us a piece we didn't need but this owner Karl fixed for cheap price and I'm now Street legal. Thank you so very much to the owner and all who helped at last minute around 410pm on July 28th. I will be back

I was referred to by a friend, made an appointment and got my truck fixed within a day. I would recommend Titze's to my friends and family. Honest, reliable mechanic. Hard to find these days.

I'm wary of ever taking my vehicles to a mechanic and prefer to do work myself, however I threw my hands up on my transmission cooler/ac condenser, and I'm happy I did. Carl did an excellent job and got exactly what was wanted done same day (had to book couple weeks ahead).There were no unexpected extras like coming back to rotated tires or new brakes. He even caught a major issue (a ball joint close to popping on front right lower control arm) and offered to fix it, though did not pressure that he do it. Without him catching that I very well could have ended up stranded in traffic or wrecked on the highway. Price is what you can expect now-adays. It's not outrageous/overpriced like you'll see at other shops/stealerships. 5/5

We were traveling cross country and every place we called to get help quickly shut us down, but not this place! He (don’t remember his name) fixed us up quick and got us back on the road. I can’t thank him enough!

10/21: I haven’t been there yet but when I called today they were extremely patient and helpful. I’m moving from out of state and drive a hybrid. Previously when I moved from Texas to Omaha, I had a difficult time finding a repair shop that worked on hybrids. I’m thrilled that Titze’s can after reading the reviews. Sounds very reasonably priced, prices comparable to Omaha and oil change is about half of what I paid in Texas for a synthetic oil change. Will add more after I am there for my oil change/service. 8/22 Update: I’ve been to the shop twice and I’ll never go anywhere else. They do it all, full service shop. Everyone is very nice and honest. I mentioned that I went over 6 months & was told time doesn’t matter, mileage does. I recently put 4 new tires on & inquired about an alignment. Before scheduling drive on the highway to see if it veers. 🤯 Downside of being the most honest shop in Sioux Falls is scheduling. No matter what the wait is, just wait. It’ll cost you more if you don’t.

Amazing service. Wife and I were on a trip for our anniversary when the AC in our vehicle stopped working. Called and spoke to Karl an hour from closing on a Friday and he said to swing by the shop and he would take a look. 45 minutes later we were back on the road with the AC blasting cold air. I fully expected we wouldn’t find a shop willing to help so close to closing on a Friday but Karl went above and beyond.

Guy stayed late to fix a solenoid, also put on four new tires that day, I guess his help never showed up but it was about 7:30 p.m. when I got my car back,. not going to lie the guy was dedicated not only to his job but to his profession, would be nice if they had a voicemail, I was trying to get a hold of them over the weekend but nothing other than that been running great!

I have been doing business with Titze's Auto Repair for 20+ years. Carl is a true professional, he is true to his word and he stands behind his work. I have referred several people to Titze's, they are all satisfied as well. However...call ahead, his shop is very busy...for good reason, as I said, his shop is good. "Try em' you will like em".

I'm a Rural Carrier and I depend on my vehicle a great deal, with lots of pressure and small time frames to get work done, if Titzies can deal with that, they can deal with anything.

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely no sense of good customer service. All friendly and promising until you hand over the keys for your vehicle. Was told my repairs would take less than a week. Now it’s been over a week and when you confront them about it, all the blame goes on the customer and they outright hang up on you when you call to get an update since god forbid they call you. Do not give this company your service.
