I brought my 2019 VW GLI for an APR tuning and TLA Motorsports took care of me!! The process was seem-less and they worked around my schedule to book an appointment. I was in and out in about a hour and a half and my car was pushing out significantly more power! I felt that they tried to save me money by not trying to upsell any other modifications. Matt and Logan were very careful with my car and they definitely knew what they were doing! I highly recommend that you choose TLA if you are planning to tune of modify your VW!! Thanks again Matt and Logan, loving the change!!

Had my LS1 Genesis Coupe tuned here and it's been great! The dudes were very chill and knowledgeable. Really helpful and takes your concerns and questions seriously. Took time to explain what they were doing as they were doing it 👍

Was recommended to Matt and his team by Tru Motorsports and was in great hands. He was knowledgeable, very upfront and patient. I love my car a lot and have a lot of plans for it, so I ask a lot of questions and he was nothing but patient. He ended up fixing the problem and then adding a turbo kit as well as several other new parts. Though it didn't get finished as quickly as I would've hoped, it's amazing and I am not upset about how long it took. Matt and his team know what they are doing and take the time to ensure you know what you are looking at as well. I not only gained someone I will continue to take my car to, but a friend as well. I highly recommend them.

Matt does a great job at communicating the needs and performance of your car. He is honest and he is very kind. I recommend his shop for performance purposes. I would like to make it clear that his timing can take longer than usual, but he takes longer because he spends the time making sure your car is perfect before returning. He takes pride in his work and wants it to meet your expectations!

Matt has always treated me right with anything that I bring him whether it is my personal project or a friend’s. I have been to multiple other performance shops in the Indianapolis area and ended up disappointed but never with TLA. He will take the time to make sure that you understand what you need and why you need it & he will take the time to make sure that it is done right. Would trust him with any build. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER RECEIVED. I visited the shop and spoke with Matt extensively about what was going on with my son's Volvo S60. I let him know that the car had spun the piston bearings and that I had replaced them. I let him know that when I started the car it didn't sound right and that something was wrong. I also let him know that the ball joints and bushings were worn a possibly needed replaced. He stated that it would cost $350 plus tax to perform a complete inspection on the car to figure out what was wrong and needed attention. I paid him $362 to perform the diagnosis and inspection. He assured me that he could fix it. Matt called me a few days later and stated that when he started the car it sounded great but it had an oil leak from what appeared to be the oil pan and that he would have to get the gasket and fix it. A few days to a week later I called Matt and he stated that he had to get a tube of special gasket maker for the Volvo and was waiting for it to arrive. A few days later Matt called me and stated that when he removed the oil pan he noticed that one of the piston rods was discolored but it wasn't a problem. After allegedly fixing the oil pan leak Matt called and stated that another part, I understood it to be the oil cooler on the side of the oil pan, was also leaking. At this point I started to lose faith that Matt knew what the hell he was doing and I was about to be screwed! A few days later, see a pattern yet, he called and stated that he had things back together and I asked him if he had driven the car to ensure it was running right and he stated that he wasn't going to drive the car because the ball joints and control arm bushings were one bump away from breaking, shaking my head at this point. I let him know that I suspected that these were a problem and agreed for him to replace them. Again, a few days later he called and stated that the car was fixed. Again I asked if he had driven the car to ensure it was running properly and he stated that he indeed drove it and it was working properly. I drove the car home, 1 mile from the shop, with no issues. A few days later on Saturday, I left home in my son's Volvo to travel to Muncie, In. to pick up my son from college and the car broke down 20 miles later in Anderson. I paid $80 to tow the car back to TLA Motorsports for Matt to check it and explain to me why I paid him $1900 and the car wasn't fixed. He looked over the car and stated that "he thinks the discolored piston rod broke"!!!!! I let him know that I wasn't spending another dime at his shop and demanded a negotiated refund of some sort. He asked me what I expected and I stated to him that I don't expect anything at this point due to his not meeting my expectations from the beginning!!!! He stated that he may be able to talk to his "accounting department" about a $500 gift card. I've yet to receive anything. To sum up the bottom-line, DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS GUY, HE'S FULL OF S!@#!!! At this point, I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against this business for bad business practices. If it also falls on deaf ears, court will be next!

TLA Motorsports has taken great care of my Golf R. I've had repair work, maintenance, and performance modifications done here and I've been very satisfied with the work and the pricing. Matt is truly a tuning master. My car makes more power and runs so much smoother compared to my off-the-shelf tune.

TLA has always been very helpful and willing to go above and beyond answering any questions that I have with tuning for my car. Use to have a bad tune, but they were able to create a new tune for me and get my car running 100% right.

This shop is such a scam i wouldn’t trust the owner of the shop and these reviews he asks his friends to lie for him and write a good review for him he screwed up my car and stole from me stole stuff out of my car my spare engine my spare parts and refuse to send my parts over lied about installing a fuel pump, maid me to pay parts and he still have them in his shop, he still have my car keys my front lip is still in his car and he is denying that he stole it too its crazy how he is still getting away with it and ppl still come to him for a fix or a tune, one way of his scam is he would tow ur car charge u for that keep it for months then he would give u 2 options either u pay for parking “where he didn’t have time to work on ur car to get his buddies cars in” or you pay half of the estimate and keep u waiting and still working on his friends cars and u don’t have to pay for parking. Please don’t trust him.

Nothing but great. I had 3 other tuners try to tune my car. Spent thousands with each and ran worse every time till matt at tla dialed it in. Now it runs great and has picked up more them 150hp. This guy knows what he is doing.

Owner Matt is a very genuine and knowledgeable person when it comes to cars in general let alone high performance cars. He explains things very detailed and gives you the facts. Very good dealing with him and his shop!
