Wow! This place is a complete rip off. $140 Oil change and tire rotation?! Scheduled online, for a Friday just an oil change and tire rotation on my '17 Camry. At 110K miles I've had one every 5K miles.I've paid an average of $40-$60 over its lifetime but.. never $140. There was no quote online or in person I was ever given, I was in no way expecting $140. I told them this at the counter, and they said they quoted other shops around and they're all there. Ok.. uh no. Regardless I'll never be back. No communication, drop off 8am, vehicle was ready at 4:30(not a problem necessarily, but an opportunity for sure).

If I could give less than one star then I would… do NOT come to this place. I read the reviews to try and find a reliable, reasonably priced auto body that I could continue to go to. Had an issue with my AC, was told the entire system needed to be replaced and that it would cost a total of $1200. Paid the $1200 and moved on. Couple weeks later, AC does not work. Dropped it back off at the shop, told them they must’ve missed something and came back saying the compressor needed replaced which would be an addition $2,100. Mind you, both services were promised in a quick manner and both services took over a week. I had to call every day to get any sort of update. Called a family friend to see how much the part that they are replacing was and came to be around $300-400. With labor included, it should’ve not been more than $800-900. Not $2,100. This place is an absolute scam and they are out to get your money. They are inconsiderate of your time (had to rent a car because it took way longer than promised) and did not even fix the car properly the first time after the first $1,200. I repeat, do NOT go. I am a young woman and obviously they took advantage of that. My mistake for trusting people but I hope you do not make the same mistake. Save yourself.

You know, most of the time a car breaks down, there's an immediate sense of dread due to the unknown. You could take it to a dealership and pay out the nose for something that may or may not fix the problem or even come back soon after, or you could take it to an independent repair shop and hope they're not scummy and greedy liars. Tom and Jerry's Auto is the best you could hope for when it comes to this. Their hourly rate is very reasonable, sure, but their commitment to honesty is what makes them truly commendable. Kevin, in particular, is an absolute asset to the business, and is the only reason I'm writing this review. He explained what was happening, did research before throwing "solutions" at it, and when he realized that the job I needed was more of a specialty fix, he still offered to do it at their shop, but also gave me good recommendations of shops that were more specialized in what I needed done. I highly, highly recommend Tom and Jerry's. They're good people.

I recently brought my car to Tom & Jerry's Auto Service to install an auto part I purchased myself, as I didn’t feel confident installing it. The team was fantastic—they didn’t hesitate to help me out and made the whole process seamless. They were professional, honest, and gave me a fair price for labor. The installation was done quickly, and they made sure everything was running perfectly before handing my car back. It’s rare to find a shop this accommodating and skilled. I highly recommend Tom & Jerry's for their outstanding service and expertise!

Slow service and poor communication but my car’s needs were addressed and solved. I took my new used car in to get some issues looked at and get an estimate. Took them three days to get the estimate and I had to call them to get any info, when they said they’d call me first. The same thing happened when I took my car in to them to get those problems fixed. It took a week for my car to be finished and after four days I called to get an estimated time they’d be done. Both times I called and asked, I was told they’d call back and let me know. That did not happen. I understand now that the week long wait was at least partly due to the loss of some important employees, but that wasn’t disclosed to me until after my family had picked the car up for me and let me know. I did not learn this from Tom and Jerry’s. If I was told about these issues beforehand I would have better planned around not having a car for a week, instead of assuming it would just take a couple days and borrowing a car from family for the short term. I am disappointed that there was not one time that they called me to update me on my car, and I would have to call them - only to be told they’d call me back and never did. The work done on my car, however, was good. Regardless I will not be returning for anything - routine or otherwise.

04/24/24 Someone hit my car in January after they slid through an intersection and I was sure the car was totaled. But I had it towed to Tom and Jerry’s, who inspected it and said they could fix it. The owner(I think) actually took the time to explain the entire salvage title process and made it sound way less scary than the internet was making it out to be. They worked with me to buy all the parts needed for repair and went above and beyond in doing body work repair as well. Damon did such a good job with repair and you could definitely tell he took pride in his work! All in all, the total costs came out significantly lower than what insurance quoted me for which was obviously a huge plus! Especially since they had the car for months while we were finding the parts (06 VW Beetle, they don’t make some of the parts new anymore so you have to salvage). My only suggestion (not a complaint, just a thought) would be that it would have been nice if they would have told me other things that needed fixed on the car while they had it. They told me the clutch was going out when I picked it up, and we noticed that one of the headlights was out when we drove it home. Just little things that I would have paid them to fix if I’d known it was needed. I appreciate them not aggressively upselling like some repair shop horror stories - but an off handed mention at any point earlier than when I was picking the car up would have made my total experience out of this world amazing. ————————————— Earlier review ————————————— My power steering pump went out unexpectedly and my car wasn’t safe to drive. I called these guys last minute because my regular mechanic was unavailable and they got me in the next day; had my car diagnosed that morning and I picked it up that night. Literally a godsend for me. I used their night drop box and accidentally put my AirPods in the envelope (yes, I am a moron) and they kept them safe for me until I made it over there to get them. I was very impressed with their service and will utilize them again.

I can’t begin to thank Tom and Jerry’s enough for looking at and fixing my son’s car!! IF YOU ARE A OSU STUDENT OR A PARENT OF A STUDENT START HERE WHEN LOOKING FOR A REPAIR SHOP!! Unfortunately we had a horrible experience at another auto place first. My son goes to OSU and we live out of town so this was his first time dealing with getting his car fixed on his own. The first place he went to had his car for ALMOST 2 MONTHS and hadn’t ever looked at it. I was so angry that someone would take advantage of a student like that. After calling around we found T&J’s and my son and his friend towed his car to there. It didn’t even take a week for them to find the problem and fix it and it was so reasonable!!! Thank you so much for the excellent service!

I had (maybe) too high expectations since they worked on another car for me. The communications while my car was being checked was spotty at best. The quote for head gasket replacement on a 2006 Honda Civic was $4700… car lot I purchased the car from provided a quote based on this quote and they estimated $3000. They ended up replacing the motor for a total of $2324. They are fun and nice people though.

I wanted them to quote me for a notorious engine repair. Once they found out what it was and knowing it would be back because the part has been known to be faulty in the past, they politely turned it down. They did take the time to explain everything to me, and suggested options to me. They will get my future business. I'm just sorry but totally understand and don't blame them for not wanting to go down this road with me on the engine repair this time. I'll refer others to them as well. Update-Since the above post I've brought that car back for a different repair, and my Taco(Tacoma) for 3 separate repairs. Always polite, curious, and I keep coming back. Thank you T&J's

Took my car in for a general check-up and to get the battery replaced and the back windshield wiper replaced. Took all day before they told me they didn’t have the battery in stock, but wanted to massively upsell me to get it the next day. Then came by to pick up the car (because I needed it for work) to discover they hadn’t replaced the back windshield wiper which was literally falling apart; the rubber portion was falling off the blade. They hadn’t even noticed that it was falling apart. They also hadn’t rotated the tires, but tried to charge me for it anyway — only after I asked about it did they take it off the bill. Got the battery replaced for about $80 less elsewhere. Go somewhere else.
