What an absolute joke. Went to get a flat fixed. My psi dropped by a lot while driving the previous day and in the morning it was a complete flat. The worker there could not find the puncture and told me that my sensor was wrong AND that someone let out the tire out of my air overnight. They looked for the leak for about 20 min and couldn’t find anything. On the way out the owner told me I had an attitude problem after his staff was extremely rude to me and inept at doing a very simple job. I went to a tire shop and they found the puncture in literally 2 MINUTES. Bunch of clowns. Save your time and go somewhere else. Horrible.

Have been battling a deflating tire due to a nail for a few weeks now, called up Tony's and was told to bring it in immediately. I dropped my car off, took a 20 min walk around the neighborhood, when I got back the tire was patched up and the car was ready to rock and roll. I couldn't believe it, excellent service. I will definitely be coming back!

I was able to get my car in quickly after getting rear-ended and Dominick was respectful, fair, and fast. His team made sure I was taken care of and did great work. Can't recommend them enough

I started going to TONY'S AUTO this year 2024. I've visited for 2 oil changes, state inspection, and brake repair. They've done an excellent job and highly recommend them. Great communication all around, very fair pricing, efficient service, and you can call and get an actual person to speak with. This is my go-to place whenever I am in the city and need a repair.

Wanted to like this place since it’s conveniently located near my house. However, walked in to see if they could service my car, there was a man working on a car who directed me to knock on the office door. No one was in the office and the mechanic couldn’t find Dominic anywhere. Another customer showed up, and the mechanic immediately asked him “how can I help you?” They engaged in about 5 mins of convo about that customers car while I waited to be talked to, after which I was obviously frustrated that he skipped right over me to help someone else. I said “thank you” and walked out and he still didn’t even acknowledge me or even say “sorry I’ll be with you in one minute”. Unfortunately bad customer service led to a customer lost :(

Honestly thought Tonys Auto was going to be my goto spot as long as I lived on the area. Got along great from our first repair.Seemed genuine and wanted to help but after multiple transactions he seemed more into how much tip to get. Not coming back here ever again. ✌️

Dominic saved our vacation! Our exhaust system fell out after a 15 hour drive, and he put our car back together so we could drive it home safely at the end of our trip to NY. We just got back to Halifax, thank you so much! You're a hero!

I had previously only gone by for inspections and oil changes but needed some repairs this time. I am not sure if this ever happens to anyone else but every time I come here around 4:30 5 o’clock they always close early and even if you call them and let them know that you’re coming in it’s still the same but their timing says that they’re open till 6 o’clock but they never are so I’ll make sure if you ever wanna go there. I’m not sure how good they are but if you ever want to go there, make sure you go early.

On June 6, 2023, my friend and I were driving a 2005 Honda Pilot when we encountered a burst brake hose. We managed to bring the car to Tony's Auto Repair for assistance. Upon receiving a quote of $200 from the owner, I asked my friend if he wanted to proceed with the repairs there. I also inquired about the possibility of receiving a discount and requested expedited service, if feasible. The owner seemed visibly upset and responded abruptly, stating, "No... The parts cost $45, and the labor is $155." It appeared that he was unwilling to offer any discount. Despite the lack of a discount, I agreed to have the repairs done. However, the owner suddenly exclaimed, "Too late!" (although the entire exchange took less than a minute). Feeling embarrassed, I questioned why he was so angry. He then yelled, "Okay, I can't fix it here anymore. Just go down the block. There's another shop that is less busy and more affordable. You can get it fixed there. Don't worry; I will call them." Concerned about the safety of driving the car in its current condition, I asked if he could still perform the repairs, but he once again shouted, "NO!" As his staff pulled our car from the site onto the outside road, one of them assured me, "I can fix it now," while explaining the location of the other shop as instructed by the boss. Reluctantly, we drove our car to Joe's Auto Repair. Their initial quote was $300, which left us feeling quite frustrated. After some negotiation, we ended up paying $250 in cash. The repairs took approximately 90 minutes to complete.

Dominic has changed my life! In the past I would avoid repairing my car, thinking it would be too time consuming or expensive. He has been kind, fair and efficient, I feel welcome when I arrive there and always leave with a smile. I am so grateful for him and his hard work, I highly suggest his shop. :)

I have been going to Tony’s for 3 years and have been living in Williamsburg for the same amount of time. Tony’s has been the only mechanic I have ever used here for 3 reasons. Those three reasons are the pricing, the quality, and the service. The pricing is very fair and affordable. Tony’s has always given me pricing that comes in much lower than my dealership. Secondly, the quality is outstanding. Having gotten body work to my car done, the parts that Tony’s has used and the work that he has done has held up very well as I use my car on a daily basis. Lastly, the service is great. Tony’s always gets the job finished when they say they will and is always available to take on jobs and provide repairs on short notice. I would highly recommend you take your car to Tony’s if you are in the area and need a great repair shop!
