Top Edge Management, Subject: Formal Complaint and Request for Compensation I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the services rendered by Top Edge during my multiple visits regarding the repairs to my vehicle, which has resulted in significant inconvenience, financial loss, and safety concerns. Despite my patience and repeated attempts to have the issues resolved, I find myself compelled to raise these serious grievances. ### Summary of Issues Encountered: 1. **Extended Repair Timeline**: Initially expected to be a straightforward oil change and general maintenance, my vehicle repairs extended over a period of 4.5 months, far exceeding the promised turnaround time of one week. 2. **Inadequate Repairs**: The problems I presented, including the electrical issue with the air ride system and overheating concerns, were either inadequately addressed or worsened. Specifically, the radiator cap, diagnosed as the cause of overheating, did not resolve the persistent overheating issue. 3. **Delay in O2 Sensor Installation**: The installation of O2 sensors was hampered by delays related to parts shipping and installation attempts. prolonging the time I was without my vehicle. 4. **Recurrent Oil Leak**: Following the initial repair, my vehicle developed an oil leak due to a part that was improperly reinstalled, which necessitated additional repairs and further time in your shop. 5. **Electrical Malfunction**: Despite claims of resolving the air suspension electrical issue, low voltage errors persisted, leading to repeated jump starts and another lengthy service interval. 6. **Safety Concerns**: The unresolved electrical issues and delay in diagnosing persistent problems left my vehicle potentially unsafe for operation, contributing to my distress. 7. **Property Damage**: In addition to the vehicle issues, I experienced damage to my driveway from oil leaks caused while the vehicle was under your care. 8. **Dashboard Controller Damage**: I suspect there may have been a beverage spill within the vehicle, or improper installation leading to a malfunctioning in the vehicles climate control system, which I believe may have occurred during the service at your facility. ### Demand for Compensation: Given the series of failures on your part to adequately address, diagnose, and resolve these issues, I am requesting compensation for the following: - Costs incurred for additional repairs required to rectify ongoing issues. - Damages to my vehicle, including the hail damage sustained while it was parked at your lot. Under a verbal agreement the car would be garaged. - Repairs for damages caused to my driveway. - Compensation for the failure to diagnose critical problems timely. - Reimbursement for the financial losses incurred due to the prolonged absence of my vehicle. - A formal response addressing the failings of your service and the lack of transparency observed during the civil court proceedings. My expectation is that Top Edge will take responsibility for the inadequate service provided and the consequential damages I have suffered. I have lost faith in your establishment's ability to perform safe and effective mechanical repairs, which has led me to seek assistance elsewhere. I hope for a prompt response to this matter as I seek resolution, and should this issue remain unaddressed, I will consider taking further action to protect my rights as a consumer. All I can say is WOW!!! I was so impressed with the teams knowledge and professionalism I'm still smiling from ear to ear. I came in wanting to upgrade my stereo system but did not have a clue what to do exactly. Patrick put on his cape and saved the day! Not only did he give me options but explained in a way that made me trust his ability to perform the task. My system sounds amazing and now I'm scheduling an appointment to get more upgrades to my Truck. Thank you Patrick and the Top Edge team for an amazing job!!

Kyle and his team were absolutely amazing!! I was in an out in 45 min. They took care of me and my car. My climate control was acting up. They quickly found the issue was a kinked cable that also slipped off the controls. Prices are not crazy. Very good prices. Easy pay and convenient! They were super friendly and easy to work with. I will definitely be back in the future if I need care repair and I’m referring all my people here if they need work! I highly recommend! Thank you to Kyle and your team!!

After spending so much money and abusing my sick hrs and yet this shop did not fix nothing. They keep asking me to bring the truck. Am even lost of words. My only option is to take the truck to ford. I seriously blame NVP WARRANTY for all these mishaps. Waste of time and money. My truck is now in bad shape . I wish I can give -1 rating. Bad mechanics they have .it's just sad

Thanks again Top Edge Automotive for your awesome service on my 2007 BMW 328i. We needed a new radiator and Mark at Top Edge went out of his way to make sure we got a quality replacement. The job took some time but we get it back the next morning. Mark was always accessible to answer our questions by phone or text. Everyone at Top Edge was friendly and professional. I got a 6-in lift wheels and tires on my Tundra and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service here. Mark kept in contact with me every step of the way to make sure that I felt comfortable with the process and it was an amazing experience. My name is Fred Fisher I used this company to put a suspension lift on my 2020 Tundra TRD off road. They said the job would take 10-15 hrs. 2 weeks later I got my truck back. I asked for all my old parts so I could resell them. I didn’t get all my parts back. Was told the mechanic that worked on my truck quit and took them with him. A few weeks later I noticed my front tires were wore badly on the inside these are 35/65/18s Nitto Mud Grapplers over $500 each they said they sent my truck to Big O tire for the alignment which was off by 2 degrees. Causing excess wear. Now I can’t get earthed company to replace my tires. They sent be to big O tire in Pueblo where I’m from. They re-aligned. And told me about the 2 degrees off. Once I got the truck home and looked under it because it was vibrating I noticed over half the bolts that hold the skid plate on were missing. They also chopped and hacked my front end with out my permission. I am a disabled veteran and spent over $8400 for this messed up job. The manager says he will call you back but never does. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. They lie and their workmanship is questionable. Stay away. Well it’s been a few weeks and they won’t even get back with me to fix the problem. Just sad. Steel your parts mess up the work you paid big money for and no workmanship warranty. And don’t take anything to Big O Tire either. Well I guess you don’t get a warranty with this company or a call back to set their deficiencies right. Randy is a lousy manager. Sad. Well today is 4-3-23 still no call back. I can’t believe after spending so much money with a company I’d have a rattling front end from all the bolts they didn’t put back in and a $1000 worth of bad tires. Well it’s 5/10/23. No results sad. If they can do this to a disabled veteran it’s a sad world.cost me another $1200 to replace the front bumper they chopped up and removed screws and it never quit rubbing. Also had to replace my tires due to balding and pulling to the right hard another $1400. Because the Nitto grapplers are on back order. The last pix is the rear tires same amount of mileage around 1600 is all.5/25/23 update still nothing on my tires. This company charges $150 an hr. To rob you and they don’t warranty their work. Sad Toyota is only $130 an hr and they warranty everything. And a way nicer shop and no thief’s . They won’t steel your stuff and not pay you for it. 6/4/23 talked with the manager last week. Still nothing.well 6/23/23 still no response on my tires they ruined and destroyed. I would really think hard before using this shop. 7/15/23 they still haven’t fixed their wrong doings. As a disabled veteran I don’t have the money to pay for something twice. And they definitely don’t care. Sad !!!!!!!!!!! 7/31/23. Still nothing. And still sad !!! 8/18/23. Still nothing. Well we’ll we’ll 8 months later and you finally want to say something I didn’t hire Big so Tire you did. I hired you guys not them. And I did take it back to big o tire and they re aligned it, and it lasted for about a week. Then I had to take it to Midas who aligned it all over again. Said zing O Tire didn’t have it right. And I sent you their copy which you didn’t do a thing about it but blame it on them. And you never asked permission to chop my truck you just did it. And everything still rubbed because your mechanic d told my bolts out of the front of my truck and took my other parts that you’ve done nothing about still to this day. You guys are lire’s. And I wasn’t happy and still not happy. 8 months to respond. That’s Bull. I hired you. Your responsible. So man up. 8/21/23. Your response is ridiculous. I was in the service industry for over 30 years as a master service plumber. I never treated my customers the way you’ve treated me.10/15/23. Still no reimbursement for my front tires or for my realignment fee I had to pay to Midas to get my Alignment properly adjusted because big O Tire couldn’t get it right after 2 attempts. Went in to have speakers installed in my Tacoma. I chose this place because their website states that they accept Synchrony Car Care card. Since they accept that card I chose to spend a little more due to 6 months no interest. The speakers sound good but they cut and spliced my factory wire harness. Also my passenger side window wouldn’t roll up because the door panel was not reinstalled correctly. They quickly fixed the window which is when I noticed the wire splice. When I went to pay their system wouldn’t accept the synchrony card. I paid with another card and was assured that they would fix the issue and refund my card and use the synchrony card next week. Still waiting and they won’t answer my texts or calls now. Very disappointing way to treat your customers. A simple response, good or bad, would be appreciated.

Had them install subs into my explorer and they worked great for a few weeks. But have since started shorting out. I'll be sitting in my house and randomly here them hitting at Max volume for up to 5 minutes straight not to mention they will randomly not work.

`Was calling in regards of trying to figure out if they do transmission fluid changes. During the conversation I asked him what brand they specifically would use. The worker I spoke with was extremely vague and told me they use OEM products. I was quite excited hearing that seeing how hard it is to find places that use OEM products. The last place I took it to used a GL5 oil instead of GL4 which caused extensive damage to my 99 Jeep Wranglers Transmission. So to prevent that from happening again I asked would yall use GL4 or GL5, quote on quote he said "I cant remember every cars specifications" in quite a rude tone. I kind of shrugged it off understanding that sometimes people just have bad days. Then he proceeded to say, "I'm not going to tell you what product we use so you can go do it yourself" along with some other things. I really wish that I could go back and record it to show his superiors at how rude he was. When he said that I simply explained that was not the case (Not to mention why would I be calling a place when google has 1000x better information, or just look on the transmissions info). I was trying to see if they would change the fluid replacing it with the proper fluids seeing its a common issue that happens with AX15 transmissions. Very VERY VERY upsetting considering I was recommended this place from a Jeeper in the 4x4 community that I am a part of. I was told several things about the place but that they did honest, good work. The biggest thing that I have learned especially in the Jeeping 4x4 community dealing with hundreds of shops is that if you don't have good customer service your business will inevitably fall.... The other thing is things like this spread like wild fire throughout care communities. I am sorry if you were having a bad day Patrick but you cant just say whatever you feel like to customers. I hope your day gets better man.

Came to the shop around 11am to install an exhaust and I was told it would take 4-5 hours max, i left came back at 6 just to be told it would take a couple more hours, i left it overnight and went back at 11 only for them to tell me they barley started working on it, i had to wait and watch them until they finally started working on it and it only took them 1 hour to finish. NO COMMUNICATION AND TOO MUCH SLACK

Took my car in for a nox sensor replacement and somehow lost my heat yet they say it was no one's fault and give me a estimate of 2000$ to fix this place is a rip off ended up paying 3200$ to get my issues fixed and it came back with more after a month of getting my car back this was the location in commerce city DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE

He is knowledgeable, he listens, he’s responsive, works with a sense of urgency and put together a solution within my budget that I love. He also stayed late to make sure he met the deadline for completion he committed to even after running into some issues. I highly recommend Top Edge and Patrick.

I had a very technical electrical request (alternator upgrade for aux batt system charging.) I had looked many places and talked to custom vanbuilders. None were very literate with being able to come up with the custom solution I needed. Until I called Top Edge and talked to Patrick. He seemed to be able to formulate and articulate the custom solution off the top of his head, and mentioned all the specific details they would perform to make the system as a whole perform as needed, including the specific wiring upgrades and changes to OEM system to work together. I was thoroughly impressed.

Had my car stereo diagnostic to have all speakers work and check factory amplifier. Dealt with Patrick who is very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience with car audio and was very impressed. He fixed my stereo and fixed everything that needed and my car sounds 100 percent better than when I came in. Would recommend to anyone that needs these things done. Looking forward to having mechanical work done as well.

Can’t Thank these guys enough Dan Mark and the team at Top Edge they went above and beyond to fix another shops 10 month disaster to rebuild a transmission that was returned barely running Dan took the time to go through everything and fix someone else’s mess from getting it running to cleaning it up I wouldn’t take the VW Bug to any other shop can’t recommend this place and these guys enough Thanks again Dan Mark and Team Top Edge Cheryl & Jessica Bjerke

I came in to inquire about putting a subwoofer and amp into my 2023 Civic. Mark & Patrick were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and had some great recommendations. They had just what I needed and wanted (JL Audio 12" W3 and 500 watt amp) in stock and put in my car the very same day. Everything went smoothly, and their prices were even better than what I found online. I am very particular, and they exceeded my expectations in every way! If you are looking for someone to completely rip you off and diagnose your car with FAKE issues look no further than Top Edge Lakewood. They wanted to charge me $1800 for a job that ended up taking me about 2 hours of labor and $80 in parts. :) don’t let them rip you a new one as well. Get a second opinion.

Patrick really knows his stuff and did an awesome job with my new stereo and speakers! I went with the Ground Zero uranium setup and it sounds awesome. I didn’t want window rattling bass but the 10” sub does a great job. Patrick made a fiberglass housing for the sub that looks almost stock.

Patrick was very knowledgable and steered me in the right direction based on value to a quality end product. We finally got to hear the new JL Audi sounds system on the water during our Lake Havasu Thanksgiving trip and it was UNREAL! Everyone couldn't believe the sound quality and there was no compromise (maybe even better) when we were wake surfing with the volume turned up loud!!, I will never buy a new boat with out budgeting in a new sound system from Top Edge in the future. This was my first experience utilizing Top Edge. I was a bit uncertain as to their knowledge/ability with working on European cars based on their website. Dan, their master technician quickly put those fears to rest. He is very knowledgeable and versed in foreign vehicles.
