I'm new to the area, and they were just what I was looking for... a small, local shop staffed by 'car people'. I went in with a check engine light, and Farrah knew enough about my make and model to guess what the issue was... and Chris confirmed and corrected the problem. It's nice to deal with people who know what they're talking about!

I have a ‘97 Chevy Suburban and I’m trying to keep it running as long as possible. Farrah and Chris have provided amazing service for it. Whether electronic or mechanical they do a great job of explaining what is needed and going over the costs.

Top Notch Auto was amazing! They were knowledgeable, had a short turnaround time on our AC repair, and beat the price estimates of every other shop in the area. We would definitely use them again for other repairs in the future!

Farrah and her team went above and beyond to repair my car quickly and make it convenient for me. Her husband diagnosed the issues with my car and gave me an option to select the most immediate repairs now and schedule future repairs later. And they even loaned me a car so I wouldn't miss work- Amazing! The name "Top Notch," says it all.

Can't say enough good things about this repair shop. Brought them my Kia Niro for a 2nd opinion diagnostics after losing faith in Royal Kia, who quoted me $7k to replace the cylinder head. Top Notch spent the time to really understand what was happening, and fixed only what was needed (4 fuel injectors, the cylinder head had already been replaced) for a fraction of the dealer's estimated cost. The car has been running great since. Terrific service, thorough communication (Farrah is awesome), and very honest. Thanks!!

Called yesterday for an estimate to replace my alternator. Was told they could work on it today and it would take 2 hours. After verifying this was needed, they got it in and out in the time they said, for a fair price! I was told I had a 36 month warranty. Super happy to have found this repair shop.

Fantastic service! They explain everything, and even have taken me under my car to see exactly what was wrong and what was done - without talking down to me. Farrah, the manager, is always so upbeat and accommodating. She goes above and beyond. Their waiting office has wi-fi, snacks, and comfy couches so if I have to stay for a while I have what I need. I take my older Mercedes there because I also want to keep supporting local, family-owned businesses (who do a better job than the dealership IMO)! Top Notch truly is top notch care.

Best. AutoShop. Ever. Great diagnostics and repair, beautiful turquoise waiting room (waiting room at all a plus), a loaner car!!! (a real rarity), very personable couple who work well together, all-around excellent service, and very experienced having owned a shop a long time. Came recommended and I was not disappointed—exceeded expectations. Yup, totally top-notch, they earned the name. Sept. 2022 Addition: Called up Farrah with a minor issue this time and asked them to check belts and hoses after the hot-sun season. They fixed me right up, no real problems and no charge, and when I said I thought I needed new brakes she said No I didn't, not yet. Honest, trustworthy, helpful, cheerful, friendly, great car repair, lovely waiting room! Update August 2023: These are my people and my shop, wouldn't go anywhere else. Farrah and Chris take such good care of me AND my car ;). I managed to limp in under my own power and he diagnosed the battery and starter within minutes, the car fixed and ready to go less than 24 hours later. I feel safe with these honest, talented people, a great relief to have them to turn to for all my car's mechanical needs.

I bought a used corvette from Quebedeaux Buick-GMC in November 2022 and noticed problems shortly after I drove it off the lot. One of the issues was a loud rattle from the rear end of the vehicle and they said that it was normal with a performance car. I took the car to Top Notch, and they took my concerns seriously and corrected the issues that were missed by Quebedeaux. I appreciate their proactive communication with me every day that my car was in the shop. Farrah took the time to explain what was wrong and the suggested course of action. I am incredibly impressed with this business and do not plan to take my car anywhere else!

I have been having Chris and Farrah do my Lexus GX 470 repairs and service for the past year. I found them after being disappointed by other shops in Tucson. They are outstanding in their integrity, knowledge and ability to fix the problem right the first time at a reasonable cost. I highly recommended them.

I’ve been going here for a little over 2 years now, I don’t know how I haven’t left a review before. I moved here to Tucson and was nervous to find a new mechanic I could trust. I am so grateful I came here first, this place is truly amazing. I’ve never had less than a perfect 5 star experience here. They are always 100% honest and their pricing is very reasonable. They also will take the time to educate you and explain exactly is going on with your car. I hope to never leave Tucson just so I can continue to get my maintenance done here.
