Dan torbeck is a very good mechanic I'm proud to be one of his customers because without him my car wouldn't stay running and stay fixed as much as it does he really takes care of his people and he very nice and kind and so is his wife there are the most loving people you would ever meet his auto repair shop is the best shop I have ever been to I wouldn't trade it in for anything else I won't go to anybody else but dance or bad so if you're visiting Dan torbeck you will get the respect and kindness that they give and they will treat you like your family they are the best mechanics that I ever had and wouldn't trade them in for nothing I don't know what I would do without Dan torbeckk he's a very nice guy and wouldn't trade him in for nothing so if you want a good mechanic go see Dan torbeck the best mechanic you would ever have

I've never experienced customer service such as this! They really take care of their customers. They even clean your car after it's done! My experience was AMAZING!! They send you a customer card with Torbeck gifts and swag items. I think I've found my new car care company!! Highly recommend this shop!!!

The absolute best service and experience I have ever had dealing with a mechanic or getting anything on my car fixed or looked at...This includes initial call, friendliness, up front and honest, calls, call backs, time frame, cost and just over all pleasure to do business with. I have told many people, "this is where it's at" and will bring all my vehicles, families and friends included and I assure you will be treated with the utmost respect you can only find at a family owned local non cookie cutter business...my search for such is over.

DONT GO TO THESE PEOPLE. I've been surrounded by mechanics my entire life and have never heard any of them do anything I'm about to mention. I call in to inquire about having studs put in the driver side hub assembly. Simple enough right? The woman who answered the phone was delusionally rude. 1. Didn't even understand what I was needing...Had to lut me on hold tonask someone if their shop could do it.... Red flag number one. 2. Couldn't (wouldn't) give a ballpark estimate for how much the work would cost. Red flag (we're gonna price gouge you) number two 3. DEMANDED my address to make an appointment and when I questioned why they needed my address to POTENTIALLY hire them do a simple job she HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME after telling me to "LET YOUR DAD DO IT." WHOA! - Seems like she wanted my address to profile me - I've never had this info demanded of me even when taking my car to the dealer. - Her telling me to let my Dad do it was confusing and extremely immature for a woman who sounded well into her 60's. THIS IS THE FACE OFNYOUR BUSINESS.

My dad has going here for years and now I come here too! Kind owners. Transparent and trustworthy. My car always gets a complimentary wash/vacuum when I go too. Highly recommend.

Did some major 150,000 check up repair of timing chain, over heat on thermostat and radiator, also did a complete diagnostic, and major support and communication to us during the whole process. I would Recomwnd Toebwcks Auto Repair to all as they took care of the customer, a service I have not seen in a long time., as they even washed and detailed the car inside and out. Thank you Torbeck's.

Honest, knowledgeable & great customer service. Another car repair shop had my car for 2 wks & it came out worse than when I brought it in. Torbecks had my car for 1 day & I couldn't be happier with the results. They have earned a new customer.

I called in to see if this shop had offered services google had listed it under. Where a simple "we do not offer those services" would have sufficed, the lady was downright rude and condescending. Not a good front for a company.

I love Dan! He is very good and honest! Never over chargers and does excellent work! Been with him since my first car back in 2019 and I have been coming ever since! Never a disappointment. Always excellent

Took my car to Dan after Tire Discounter’s didn’t repair it correctly. Was able to get me in within a couple of days, repaired my car and even filled up all my tires, including spare, cleaned my car inside and out, provide loaner car and all for a fair price. If you want great old fashioned service, Dan is the man!

I can’t say enough about Dan Torbeck. This is a generational shop from father to son and you can tell they have a lot of experience. I live in Columbus and started a new job that was headquartered in Cincinnati. I called Dan because my car, that had just been in the shop the weekend before to have the left front bearing replaced, was making a loud grinding sound after I drove to Cincinnati. I called Dan at 4pm and he said bring it right over. How many repair shops tell you to drop it off or we’ll schedule you for the following week maybe! Not Dan, he heard it in my voice that I needed help and he stayed late, stopped work on something else to help me. I can’t thank him enough. Go see this guy if you have a car problem. Thanks Again Dan!

Working with Dan was great. We had a major issue right before we were supposed to go on vacation. He was able to get us in last minute and get the issue fixed. He stayed late on a Friday night and made sure we were able to get on the road in the morning. In my opinion he saved our vacation. Couldn’t be happier. You guys have gained another regular customer! Dave Barber is the best! I received a questionable & expensive quote from my dealership to fix a brake problem on my car. I decided to get a second opinion. I found Dave at Torbeck auto repair. After a few minutes of looking at my brakes, Dave found the problem and provided a very simple and inexpensive fix. He even took me back to the shop to look at the problem and talked me through the issue and how to solve it. Transparency and trust are a big deal to me, and Dave provided me with just that. Dave & Torbeck have a customer for life. Thank you for your service and honesty!

I was extremely pleased with the service that I received here at Torbeck's Auto Repair. Dan (the owner) is a very honest, respectful, and friendly guy. They charged a very fair price and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I will not be going anywhere else for any of my auto repairs and will tell friends and family to use this business.

Our family has been here twice this week and couldn't be happier! It's so important to have a trustworthy mechanic whose business makes you feel like part of the family. My van had a dead battery and not only did Dan offer to drive out to help start it, he gave me a loaner car while he was replacing the battery, he had an umbrella at my door so I wouldn't get wet in the rain and he carried all my groceries to the loaner car! We get a car wash, pens, towels and candy at each visit! It would have been a rotten day if not for Dan, Tari and their staff! Plus, they treated us to an awesome meal today at their 30 year party celebrating how long they have been in business in Hartwell!

The customer service at Torbeck’s is absolutely wonderful! Tari and Dan treat me like family , they fixed my car and are detailed and honest about the reparations needed. Dan is an expert and I feel so much safer in the car now! I really feel like they care for their customers as though they are family . I won’t go anywhere else for a mechanic !

It's still the greatest! My family and I have been going there pretty much since it opened in the 1970s. Dan (the owner) is a great guy who cares about his customers. He resolved our car problem quickly and with a smile. I recommend Torbecks for ethical, competent service.
