My girlfriend's car broke down in the middle of the night and we needed it addressed quick as she had to be in Tyler for work Monday morning. I'm still new to Houston and my girlfriend had only known a laundry list of shadetree mechanics that I didn't feel was the way to go in a pinch. Saturdays are the absolute worst to try to get auto work done, but after a Google search we came across Mike's Toyos Limited, and based on the pictures and reviews I felt compelled to at least give him a call. He sounded professional, equally knowledgeable, and to the point from the moment he picked up. He was communicative and kept us in the loop throughout the repair process. His pricing is MORE than fair, and I think for as long as my girlfriend has this Toyota, we've found our guy. I encourage anyone with a Toyota, Lexus, or Scion to give him a try. You won't be disappointed.

I have been using Mike as my trusted mechanic for over 30 years! He’s extremely thorough and provides the best service around! When I bought my kids cars I intentionally bought used Lexus’ because I only want Mike to service my vehicles. He’s an amazing mechanic and very reasonable!!

Mike is a true master mechanic and gentleman! He expertly diagnosed and repaired my 1996 Land Cruiser which was running poorly and shifting abnormally fast. His skills are unsurpassed in my opinion. I will use again and often. Top Level Service and Skill.

I googled Toyota specialists in Houston and Toyos Limited popped up , well I’m certainly glad it did ; Mike has A-1 customer service as well he won’t quit until he finds and fixes the problem with your vehicle, he’s the best hands down!! Just an awesome mechanic!

I seldom leave reviews either good or bad but Mike is likely the best Toyota mechanic I’ve run into and I had to leave a word :) . I am an automotive engineer by training so have a bit of experience with cars and when I noticed a bad ball joint / axle on a relatively new car was prepared for the worst with a cascading set of issues. He diagnosed it, fixed it, great communication - explained why certain after market parts were a bad idea and got it back in the road as promised. Just an all round pleasant experience and individual to deal with. You can’t go wrong with this shop….

I brought my 3rd Gen. 4Runner in for a "pre-sale inspection" before potentially selling it to a family member. Mike went over just about every inch of the car and explained to me (in layman's terms) all of the issues it had (whether of the "urgent, do now" or the "this probably will crop up in 20k miles" variety). He was blunt where necessary, clear on what issues were safety-related (vs. performance related), and straightforward on the vehicle's condition and potential pricing. He even recommended which repairs should be done together to reduce labor costs for me. I can't imagine taking my Toyota anywhere else in the future. Thanks Mike and Greg.

Mike is an expert. Spark Plug #1 blew out it's threads Spark Plug #3 bunged up the threads Spark Plug #5 broke off in the hole Mike took the time to talk with me over the phone at least half a dozen times. 20 minutes or more each time. His wisdom and instruction was exactly what I needed to make the repairs on my own. He saved me over $2,000. I will never take my Toyota ('99 4Rnr) to anyone but Mike. Thank you again for all your wisdom and willingness to help! I wish there were more like you out there, Mike.

Got a pre-purchase inspection done here when I was trying to buy a car in Texas. I live in North Carolina, so it was in my best interest to find a quality and honest mechanic. Mike was experienced and knowledgeable about common issues with the car and what I should look out for when purchasing a vehicle in another state. If I ever need car work done in Houston, I'm definitely taking it here.

Mike was very helpful from the moment I made contact with him. I bought an older Lexus SUV and wanted him to check it out to make sure nothing would catch me by surprise. He gave me an honest assessment and even recommended that I not worry about most of the things he checked out. He was very upfront with the pricing and stuck to his timeline pretty much to the T. I would recommend him and will likely use his services again.

A local Toyota dealership gave me an estimate for nearly $2000 to fix my a/c, but a friend recommended Toyos Limited, so I gave them a call. Mike (the owner) was very helpful and worked with me to get the price down by hundreds! My a/c works now, and he fixed the sliding side door, too! I highly recommend this place!

Great shop! Went in to have my RX350 diagnosed after feeling a wobble while driving. They were really nice throughout the process, explained what the issue was (delaminated tire) and gave me recommendations for heading to the tire shop. Great experience, will be heading back again!
