我被骗了:我的车只是做年检和换机油 ,那个接代我的人也是我们华人,他自做主张换掉我的雨刷器和发动机滤清器,更换机舱空气过滤器还有很多我看不懂什么费用,反正加起来总共是$499.98,我下一次不敢再去这里年检了。

Brought in my car for service two days ago. When I got my car back, the dashcam power cord was manually disconnected. Found it weird and didn't think anything of it. Two days later, today, I noticed my envelope with money in it is totally missing. It was only a few dollars in there, but it is not about the money. I shouldn't have to be worrying about my personal belongings being searched through and stolen. Definitely did not expect this to happen at a dealership where they're supposed to be professional. Be cautious when bringing your car in to this place if you have things in your car that you wouldn't want missing. If any manager of Toyota is reading this, watch your valet workers carefully.

I will never go there. Without rotating my car’s tire they said they did that service . I had a proof and when I said to check their camera then they took back my car to do that service . How they lied infront of customer without any hesitation?

I called to confirm the discount on the oil change. The price on their website was 59.99. I specifically called and asked several times if this price would be for my Lexus LS 430. I still have 1300 miles left before the change, but I decided that such a discount was good and I could change it a little earlier. I was assured that it was and they set an agreement. When I arrived, they quoted me a price of 110 for oil change. I was indignant and asked for a manager. The manager came and said that the most they could do was reduce the price to 90.

I have concerns about the people that work there. I never said anything before because I felt it wasn't that big of a deal, but thinking back, it's the PRINCIPAL!! A while ago, we had an unopened starbucks pack in the trunk and when we got the car back, it was opened and a few drinks missing. Services are expensive as it is and now you wanna steal some drinks? k. Please beware and double check of anything you leave in the car. Also, their maintenance and services are getting way too pricey. We like our car but I think we can do maintenance and services elsewhere and not be charged a 400$ diagnostics fee.

I recently visited Bay Ridge Toyota Service Center on 10/02/2024 for an issue with my brand-new 2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid SE. My mother experienced brake resistance while driving, followed by several alarming dashboard alerts, including "Parking Brake Malfunction" and "AWD System Malfunction." We brought the car in for diagnostics and repair, and the service advisor, Christopher Rossi, assured us that their top technician had identified the problem as the steering angle sensor and the left rear wheel speed sensor. They supposedly repaired these issues, cleared the codes, and test-drove the car. They also tried to charge me $186 for the repair, despite the car still being covered under Toyota’s bumper-to-bumper warranty. I had to speak with the service advisor, who escalated the issue to the manager before the charge was finally removed. This felt like a greedy money grab. However, later that same evening, I experienced the exact same brake resistance and dashboard alerts while driving home, meaning the problem was not resolved. I had to call Toyota Roadside Assistance to tow my car to another Toyota service center because I have lost trust in your service. On top of that, they switched out my car’s license plate cover to one with "Toyota of Bay Ridge Brooklyn" without my consent, which felt like an intrusive advertisement on my personal vehicle. Despite their claims of a thorough repair, the problem persists, and the unauthorized plate cover switch added insult to injury. I wouldn’t recommend Bay Ridge Toyota’s service center based on this experience.

They sold antifreeze for $47, which typically costs around $20-$25 max at 99% of Toyota dealerships. I wouldn’t recommend buying parts from them!

Drive my car in, and now I have to TOW it out. My Corolla side door that is difficult to open. They managed to fix it by make it not able to close. They show me a ridiculous bill to fix a door. They suggested me to pay the bill to fix it in their shop, or pay $400 to release the car and drive it out by holding the door with you left hand. As you see in the bill, they even could offer to clean my engine bay, while I was asking to fix the door. DON'T expect they will act in good faith, and DON'T waste time to talk to them. There is no way they will take responsibility through talk, and you will have to bite the bullet by taking your car here. And you can check other comments to support my observation. Filing a complaint with the VS-35 form to DMV to protect my right. I advise you to do so, in case you also got scammed by them.

I had a great experience purchasing my car at Toyota of Bay Ridge. My sales rep JC was so down to earth, friendly and honest. While waiting several weeks for my car to arrive he was texting me with updates so I knew I wasn't forgotten. Once it arrived, I had a small obstacle that might have prevented me from taking the car that day. I then dealt with Moe, the Financial Supervisor, who was wonderful, and he was able to work it out so I could leave with the car. The service from both of them was extremely friendly and kind. JC spent alot of time with me in the car explaining all the new technology and making sure I understood how to use my new car. I greatly appreciated that. I would highly recommend purchasing a car from Toyota of Bay Ridge.

to be expected Dealer's service centers are extremely expensive but for those customers that are not mechanically inclined they are your best option . Quality service and transparency are the key factor that drove me to them. They don’t know what they’re doing I don’t know what kinda technicians they have. I bring my 23 Highlander for oil change they tried to charge me wich is i had Toyota care prepaid and they overfilled my car. It seems like they never check after job done. Then another day I bring my car for alignment and they messed up my steering wheel! It’s mean again they never check after they did alignment! !Not center at all! And they charge me for $200 i went outside for anlignment and get it done for $100 And this dealership suggesting me engine wash throttle cleaning for unbelievable price? Be careful with this ppl I will never come back to this place!

Bunch of crooks. Car is under warranty and had a service issue. Person drove it around, told me the car is fine and had to pay a $364 diagnostic fee for a technician to actually look at it. This is the second service center I’ve had to go to for the same problem and no one wants to deal w the issue and fix it. I’ll never buy another Toyota again. It’s a shame because this is the second one I owned and used to love it, but no more! I’ll be having an actual mechanic look at it, get the report and demand Toyota fix it because they’re not getting away w this that easy!

In late September 2023, I took my vehicle to Bay Ridge Toyota for a NYS Safety Inspection and a Toyota multi-point inspection. Unfortunately, I was very disapointed. Despite having an engine maintenance required code sometimes popping out for a coolant bypass failure showing on my dashboard before the inspection and a non-working side marker light, my vehicle was passed without these issues being addressed or even mentioned. Both the safety inspection and the multi-point inspection should have included a thorough check of these crucial components, but it seems they overlooked or ignored these problems. This oversight could have led to serious safety concerns if I hadn't noticed them myself later on. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of attention to detail and the poor quality of service I received. I expect a dealership like Bay Ridge Toyota to prioritize the safety and reliability of their customers' vehicles, but they fell short in this instance. I would not recommend this service center for vehicle inspections or any other service requiring careful and thorough examination.

Poor service. First they tell you one price for the service, then they force you to pay another. I received a receipt with an inflated price, which was later corrected. I don't recommend this place.

throttle/fuel system cleaning for $350+ / Ac cleaning service for $200+ and Engine Wash for $200+? More like sucker fleecing service. Scammers. Get your vehicle the hell away from them. Terrible Service! This place is a joke. Be aware!
