I have used Tracy’s Auto at 1st and St Frances for years. They have been wonderful to work with. The team listens to me and my insane descriptions (aliens under the hood) and are able to quickly diagnose and keep my vehicles running at peak performance.

An absolute con of a shop. Recently moved into an apartment so I don’t have my own garage to work in anymore. Decided I would give them a shot but I will never return or recommend this place to anyone. Brought in my girlfriends car for an oil change and alignment. Told them she had recently hit a curb and it might not be able to be aligned as is — which is fine except they still charged $60 just to visually look at it in 5 seconds and say they cant align it. Plus $55 just for 5 quarts of oil (labor was additional). Do NOT go here. This place does NOT care about customers, they care about taking as much money from your wallet as possible and thats pretty much it. Im rather disappointed because I had higher expectations based on reviews, but this place is just a joke. For all I know they couldve added another $100 if my girlfriend had brought it in instead of myself. I understand that all shops have to charge more for materials than they buy it for to make a profit, but I just got charged $150 for an oil change and a 5 second visual confirmation that it cant be aligned which I already had a hunch about. Addition to owner response: You can say whatever you want to try and save face but at the end of the day you charged me $60 to take a picture of a damaged control arm and marked up oil by about double. If you want better reviews then DO BETTER.

Walked in with a broken valve stem. Jason went above and beyond and had it replaced in less than 15 minutes. Exceptional customer service. 10 out of 10 recommended.

Will definitely start using this Tracy’s location….I got referred to them (Michael) in particular and they were nothing but honest and great with my truck…couple other places said I needed a whole new engine….before just selling me a new engine Michael had a hunch of what could possibly be wrong and sure enough he was right….thank you Michael and the mechanic’s….!

Extremely disappointed and upset about the service I received. After making an appointment to have my vehicle aligned, the service could not be provided, but was charged regardless.

I've been taking my car to the Tracy's downtown for a routine oil change for years now and they never cease to amaze me. Not only are they always super nice, but they always go above and beyond when it comes to checking out all the little extra things that could go wrong and then making sure they are fixed properly. Being someone who is absolutely clueless when it comes to cars, it's so nice to have someone you can trust and you know will take care of you.

My car wouldn't start and I needed to have it towed. I called Tracy's Automotive on a recommendation and talked with Michael. He was so helpful and mindful of my time. Once they had the car and discovered it was the fuel pump, he went over the costs and next steps. I also asked to have the oil changed while it was in the shop. I didn't know what kind of oil it uses. He went out of his way to call my normal place to find out what they use. He even fixed the floor mat hook! Great customer service.

My son brought in his car which needed some serious work done, radiator replaced with hoses etc. Suspension replaced. Serpentine belt replaced, oil change. They even cleaned tire hub caps and even got the very old faded headlights looking alot better! Very very reasonable honest prices for all the work done! Biggest repair was suspension which was pretty shot. Now it's lifted and he no longer bounces up and down with the slightest bump! We are very happy with the work done! In Tues, out by Friday. Highly recommend!!

I was in town for a short time for a wedding when my check engine light came on and AC stopped working. I was able to get in right away, and they even stayed a little while after they were supposed to close for the afternoon to make sure that my car was safe for me to drive home. Everyone was extremely helpful and professional and I am so grateful!

I've been happy with my tires, but when I needed one repaired, I was told they don't make appointments for that. I would have to just show up and wait for an opening in the schedule. Needless to say, my tire still leaks because I can't spare a whole day to mess with it.

TRUSTWORTHY! I’ve been coming to Tracy‘s automotive for years now. As someone who knows very little about vehicles, it’s important for me to go to someone I can trust. They always shoot me straight, get me in quickly, and work with me to prioritize my needs to fit within my budget. Aside from excellent, affordable, and honest service, the shop is easy to access and always clean. The staff are friendly and the whole place just has a positive vibe. The shop manager, Adam L. is great!!

Had them install some after market. Headlights had issue with it and they wanted to charge me again to have them. Look at it even though the issue was that they just didn't follow the instructions

I had no problem getting my vehicle checked in. The employees seemed nice. I knew my blazer needs a lot of work (front end suspension). When I received a call back letting me know what was all wrong with it basically 22 hundred dollars of work he says. I asked what does he suggest that I get done first. I am not financially able to get everything done at once. Long story short. I guess if I don't have it all they can suggest anything because each time they will have to align it. So I will take my vehicle to someone that doesn't mind fixing my vehicle a little bit at a time. The place is clean. I did call first to see if I needed to make an appointment and I did not.

It is always expensive when you take a car to an auto shop. I have been to a lot of shops and frequently feel like I am being taken advantage of. Tracy's is NOT one of those shops. They are open and honest with customers and have reasonable rates for the great work they do. I will only be using Tracy's for my auto repair needs from now on.

I ended up with a flat tire just around the corner from this location. We took the tire off and took it to Tracy's. The gentleman who helped us told us they would get the tire fixed in about a half an hour, but took closer to 45 mins. Because we were first time customers, we were told that our service was free. The gentleman at the counter said, "The first one is on us!" Great experience with Tracy's. We would definitely use them again!

My dad is at Wesley and we're here from Ulysses ks. I had a tire losing air and from the reviews picked Tracy's. Fixed the tire and got me back on the road. Awesome service.

Took my Jaguar in for rear air shock replacement due to air suspension fault. Assumed the rear shocks were the problem. They replaced the shocks and then said I needed a new module for $450 as well because it had faults showing. They put the new module in and now it is stuck way too high with the new module. Then they said it needed calibrated by Jaguar or somewhere else . BTW, IT RIDES LIKE A MAC TRUCK EXTRAORDINARILY ROUGH and is UNDRIVEABLE. The tires rub on the front bottom wheel wells when it bounces. Then they said “air shocks aren’t our speciality take it somewhere else”. Well it has been undriveable for the last 4 months, sitting on my driveway. Worthless. They could have put the old module in and it would have at least been close to normal. What a waste and danger. I DON'T CARE WHAT THEIR REPLY TO THIS REVIEW IS. THEY LEFT ME HANGING WITH AN UNDRIVEABLE CAR. The front shocks were done by Meineke and they turned out fine, it was Tracy's installation of the rear shocks that everything went wrong. THEY REPRESENTED THEMSELVES AS BEING ABLE TO DIAGNOSE IT AND REPAIR IT WITH THE 30-POINT INSPECTION. NEXT TIME JUST ADMIT YOU CANNOT DO AIR SUSPENSION VEHICLES WITH ANY COMPLEXITY TO THEM. They put in the module saying that would solve the problem after still showing an air suspension fault. So they said with the the faults the old module was showing they put in a new module ... SO ...they are LYING when they say they put it in with the warning that I would need to go-to Jaguar to get it programmed and that I agreed under those circumstances to install the module. The TRUTH IS It was after I was stuck with the module that they said "oh you'll need to go to Jaguar to get that taken care of" ALSO, THEIR ANSWER FOR IT RIDING HIGH AFTER MODULE REPLACEMENT WAS ... "OH IT'LL GO DOWN ON ITS OWN IF YOU DRIVE IT FOR 5 MINUTES", OMG !! WHICH IT DOES'NT, BTW. I DROVE IT AROUND FOR 20 TO 30 MINUTES AND NOTHING CHANGED. IT STAYS STUCK HIGH LITERALLY A FOOT TOO HIGH WITH AN INSANELY ROUGH and unsafe RIDE!! ALSO, A SIDE NOTE, THEIR TIRE PRICES ARE 20% HIGHER THAN ANYWHERE ELSE BECAUSE "THEY'RE A PRIVATE, SMALL BUSINESS" AND CAN'T COMPETE WITH CHAINS LIKE DISCOUNT TIRE, TIRES PLUS, AND OTHER CHAINS AROUND TOWN. Save hundreds of dollars and go somewhere else for tires . JUST FYI FOLKS
