I had never had to have a transmission rebuilt before but I can say that Mike really set my mind at ease through the process. I called several times and every time I did he would answer my questions or just listen to my concerns and never made me feel bad about anything. He was very friendly and always professional and I truly appreciate him for that! I was also very impressed with how clean and orderly the front office and waiting area were as well! Kudos to you, Mike! 😊

By far the worst experience with a mechanic shop I have ever had. My car has been at their lot on and off for 2.5 years. They have put 3 different motors in my car and my problem to this day is still not fixed. I have paid over 7,000 dollars and have not been able to keep my car for over 2 weeks. Do not give this shop your vehicle by any means, there are way too many things wrong with this company.

Look I seen bad reviews I seen good reviews ,but that’s across the board with transmissions,I get it it sucks to have one go out,I knew mine was having problems They broke it down and showed me cost me up front ,I wouldn’t pull a transmission and break it down without a charge,and then what if someone says their not fixing it ,yeah I’m ok with This up front charge,anyway they found the problem,decided because of damage I could get a trans with a 3 year warranty,they ordered Put it in 3 days later I’m rolling down the road, All good still I have no negatives for this company only positive,good job TCOA

My car was low on trans fluid after radiator replacement and so I brought it here, charged me $97.02 for “half hour of labor” and the ol’ boy said the car was good. It was actually not good. Took the car to RT Clapp on Magnolia Ave, they added 1 quart of trans oil and charged $44.67 and now the car drives like it’s supposed to.

***Final update*** after many months of getting the run around, we filed a fraud chargeback with our CC company and got our 8000 back from TCA. Very disappointed in their lack of service. We started working directly with Cunningham Ford and spent the same 8000 and got the truck's engine replaced and back within a month. Ford place was great. Transmission Corp of America was ultimately UNRELIABLE. ****Dec12023**** Still don't have new engine in truck or transmission leak under warranty repaired. We have fooled with this place since July. No promises on work or delivery were fulfilled. TCA promised they would make it good and transferred truck to Lance Cunningham Ford. Truck has been at Ford place 3 weeks with zero communication from TCA. *****New Update**** New engine is supposed to be ready on Monday. If that happens satisfactorily, I will reupdate this review. I did receive a call back today. *****Update***** 9 months later and supposedly a new engine that I can not get calls back on or any answers on...my truck has been sitting there for 2 months. I don't know what changed between Jan and now except Mike is no longer employed there and their communication is non existent. I can NO LONGER recommend this business. **** previous review before transmission leak and needing new engine**** I highly recommend Transmission Corp of America. I had to get a new transmission in my 1995 Ford truck. They diagnosed the problem and provided quick, professional, and affordable service. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable.

Randall the new manager down here is awesome, i had made a bad comment about the old management a few weeks ago and by far its a night and day experience with the new guys in there. Wouldnt hesitate to take my cars down there now

What a team!! Randall, Davis and Chuck pulled together to get me back on the road just hours after my passenger side ball joint failed on my way to work that morning. I never would have imagined that a repair such as this could have been done in hours, albeit on a Saturday as well. Great team and great service thanks again guys!

Was told my transmission pump or flywheel was going bad and it would be $1400 to look at. Took it to a shop and it turned out to be my motor mounts . So glad I got second opinion because I would have been out $1400

Wonderful full service auto repair shop.. The owner has owned for 30 years and the experience was great..I would definitely recommend them for anything.. fixed my car and everything was absolutely perfect..

Do not come here if you are looking for an honest mechanic. Was told on the phone that the diagnostic for transmission issue would be free. Once they pulled it into the shop someone came out and said it would be 1200 dollars just for them to diagnose the issue and they needed the money then and there. Dishonest bait amd switch. I cannot recommend a shop that is not transparent with their customers.

Got a piece of wood of all things in the tire while in Knoxville 150 miles from home , happen to roll up on this place seen the guy inside walked in talk to him and they was actually closed. He came in to do a little bit of office work for a moment, but helped us get back on the road with a tire change.!!!

We were traveling back from Texas to New York on a Saturday night when the transmission went in my truck. With nothing open on Sundays we reached out to any place we could. Mike called back right away and texted us through the whole thing. He could have us in first thing in the morning and could get us a tow truck if AAA took to long. I chose to go to a dealership in the morning, my first mistake, they had really no answer on a time frame to get us back on the road and no help. I called Mike and he said he could get but done and had pretty much a time frame. I got the truck to Transmission Corporation of America roughly 3pm on Monday. Through the whole process Mike texted or called me to keep me updated. 3pm the next day we were on the road back to New York. The truck drove amazing, smoother than it was in the past, and sounded great! There was legit no other place that could have done this in 24hrs like they did. Talked with several mechanic friends in NY and they all agreed. I truly thank Mike and the team at Transmission Corporation of America for pushing us in front because they knew we were out of town, traveling back to NY, and had a puppy we wanted to get back. Thank you again guys!

The owner is delusional and cares only about money instead of providing great customer service and fixing cars!!! No clear leadership which causes chaos!!! Vehicles are miss diagnosed, cars are left to be fixed for 2 years, when you start work you are not informed of your pay structure!!! Owner tries to micromanage and does not have a clue on the business side of things!!! This owner is very unprofessional!!! Tries to cut too many corners!!!! I would advise people save yourself time and go to a diff shop to have your car serviced!!
